Disciple to Knight Training Requirements
As outlined here, the rank system for the Order of Ren follows a three tier system like many of the other Force User ranks across the site. It is important to note that due to the difference between the Sith, Jedi, and the Order of Ren that new joins to the Order of Ren will always start as a Disciple, regardless of their "Force Rank" in a previous or prior faction. Your skills and abilities will remain as they were, however your rank within the Order of Ren will be Disciple upon joining.
The specific requirements of tranferring/becoming a "Knight of Ren" or "Master of Ren" from your existing "Knight" or "Master" level character will be outlined in a later thread, but for this particular thread I would like to focus on how a character becomes a Knight of Ren from the Disciple rank, internally.

Just like any cult-like organization, the Order of Ren promotes based on dedication and proof thereof. As a member of the Order of Ren, Thread Trackers are going to be extremely important. For a Disciple to be promoted to Knight, not only will the Knight in question be required to submit a request via our "Player Ranks" thread. The format should be posted there as below.
Character Name: [Character to be Promoted]
Requested Rank: Rank Requested [Disciple to Knight]
Justification: IC and OOC reasons for this request as well as IC evidence to include "Trials" thread (See details on the requirements for the Trials thread below).

Trials Thread Requirements for Disciple to Knight Promotion
For each promotion from Disciple to Knight, a "Trials" thread will be required and linked in the promotion request, submitted by the Knight who is training the Disciple. Each training thread will be unique but will be required to include at minimum the requirements listed below:
1. Recovery of a Relic or dark side knowledge from an ancient Sith tomb or Dark Side affected location. (Unspecific)
2. Survival in the wilderness of Virgilia (Encounter with a Vornskr or Drexyl while deprived of the Force due to Ysalamiri presence)
3. Ascension of the dangerous "Path of Jagged Stones" en route to the Bastion of Ren, overcoming the rough terrain and/or obstacles.
Keep in mind that this thread is not the only requirement, these requirements must all be met in a designated "Trials" thread either DM'd by the Knight master or approved as a "Trials" thread by the master if run as a solo thread.
In addition to the "Trials thread, a minimum of 8 Faction/Dominion threads must be indicated on the character's thread tracker. Additional threads may not be required but are at the discretion of the Knight training/requesting the promotion for the Disciple. All promotions are subject to denial by Faction Staff if insufficient evidence is provided via thread tracker to warrant promotion.
Disclaimer: It is extremely important to note that while board rules are in effect for Ability/Skill level, you will not be awarded Knight Rank status within the Order of Ren based on those criteria alone, due to the nature of the Ren.
