Diplomatic Encounters

As the sun began to set over the ocean horizen, And the skies began to calm as the mass transit systems which dot the skyline of Donus began to calm down and retire for the night. Moreover, at the Keen'v royal estate in the southern region of the planet the young princes sat on her balcony which overlooked the ocean which divided the southern isle which held the royal estate and diplomatic embassy from the northern continent where Morren city was located. Mira, sat on this balcony resting herself from her long day of work being a foreign diplomatic in galactic affairs. Reflecting on all the work she had accomplished that day she opened up a datapad inspecting local news and finances of the state. As minutes pass, a protocol droid would approach from behind her pulling up a tray of food and wine.

"Bantha steak M'lady, Medium-rare, along with a bottle of Donian Wine." The droid would state as it placed the tray of food down next to Mira, setting it on a small table.

"Thank you B8.. Oh, um, how is my father doing..?" Mira would ask the droid, as deep down inside she was fearing the state in which her father, the King of Donus was in being that he was growing more and more sickly as he aged into being 112 years old.

"I fear.. the illness in which he is facing has become.. critical and he has only a month or two month too live, I'm sorry M'lady." The droid responded with as much sincerity a programmed droid could possibly have. After a moment of sadness from Mira she ordered the droid off, and continued to rest, needing this moment of peace to herself. However not to her knowledge, someone or something was on their way to end Mira's peace.. temporally.. or maybe even permanently

[member="Darth Animus"]

Darth Animus moved through the royal estates of [member="Mira-Jin Keen'v"] quietly, his armor and cloak blending in with the darkness of the setting sun that streamed through the windows. He had received a request through an extended source, a promise of payment in return for a head. It usually wasn't his kind of work, something far beneath the Sith Lords attention, though at the moment the particular case had drawn his attention. He had arrived on the planet in secret after accepting the job, wearing simple merchant clothing, while his armor and weapons were brought in secret to a predetermined location inside the royal estate itself. It seemed his contractor had ties with the staff.

He had been moving unseen for several minutes before he finally came in contact with another being, a young servant that was rushing down the hall carrying a bundle of cloth. Upon seeing the armored Sith Lord, she attempted to scream. The sound was cut off by Animus clamping down on her throat with his hand, crushing her windpipe before he tosses the body aside. He didn't bother finishing her, she would die soon enough as it was. He pushed forward, dispatching anyone that crossed his path as he made his way towards the rooms of the Princess.

He finally came across resistance when he approached the stairs leading further up in the royal estates. Two guards stood on either side of the stairs, their blasters snapping to attention as Animus approached them. They demanded to know who he was and what he was doing there. Animus remained silent, instead simply reaching to his waist and grabbing one of the sabers that was clipped there. He ignited the crimson blade, and rushed towards the guards.

They returned fire.

A the sith lord approached with his saber in hand one guard would dash off running to signal the alarms of the estate while the other would continue opening fire on [member="Darth Animus"] with his blaster carbine. The guard while, futile attempting to fight the sith continued to open fire.. Knowing his fate was sealed in this confrontation refused to give up being a royal guard, it was his job to die to protect the family. Likewise, it was more than easy for Animus to cut the guard down being that.. he was only wielding simply a blaster carbine, even with accuracy, there's only so much you can do to shoot at somebody wielding a lightsaber.

Meanwhile during this whole situation Mira had risen from her chair on her balcony heading for her personal kitchen in her room. Opening the fridge and grabbing ingredients out to prepare her meal. Pulling Bantha meat, spices, and some imported vegetables out, she placed it on the counter and began preparing her meal.. unaware of the approaching threat, the blaster fire being to far away to hear.. sadly for her.
