Diplomacy of the Largest Order

Yuroic was slightly frantically looking at all his supplies as he scratches his beard as he tried to think of what he would need. Grand Master Jyoti had requested his presence to help her in the peace treaty with the Hutts. It was a big deal for Yuroic as it gave him a chance to prove his abilities beyond being a Force User. Yuroic studied himself in his mirror and went over some simple Huttese phrases to allow the language take over as one of the more primary languages. His Huttese was not used as often as his other languages like Twi'lek and Shyriiwook. Yuroic tidied himself up and dressed in casual clothes, Hutts were not big fans of the Jedi as Jedi often meant laws that prevented Hutt crime businesses from working as effectively as they would like.

Scanning over the files, he attempted to understand as much as the information as possible. Yuroic took a deep breath as reached the Grand Master's office. Standing outside, he paused as he thought about what he was going to end up doing, Nar Shaddaa was his home once, no matter how much he hated the place. However, Yuroic knew it was important to prevent others suffering the childhood that he once suffered. Instead, Yuroic wanted to change Nar Shaddaa for the better. It was something crucial to him but the Jedi were dealing with Hutts, no matter how forward thinking, they were still Hutts and wanted things that the Silver Jedi would not morally acceptable.

Finally settling his thoughts, Yuroic knocked on the door.

"If my door is locked, then you can almost be sure I'm around."

The Echani had come around the corner, a steaming mug in one hand, and a croissant sandwich in the other. She planned on having a snack as she went over the details of their upcoming visit with the Diversity League.

She beamed, genuinely pleased to see Yuroic again. It was still awkward dealing with the amnesiac and is altered memories, and she kept going back and forth on some final resolution, but at least he was stable. She couldn't lie and say she didn't like him back to his old self.

If she could have a second chance, then why not him?

With a mental command, the door unlocked with a soft click and slid open. She immediately slipped in inside, maneuvering around Yuroic and then waving him inside to join her.

"Alright," she started after plopping into her chair. "so as I said the last time, before we get to Nal Hutta, we will first meet with the League on Toydaria as a sign of solidarity. They need to know that we are working with them dealing with the Hutts, not around them. What questions do you have at this time?"

Turning to the voice that called him, Yuroic found Jyoti peering from a corner, seemed she predicted his arrival. "I knocked because I didn't want to walk in on you if you were in a meeting or having a private conversation." He gave a polite smile and bowed his head. When she lazily opened the door and entered, Yuroic followed suit. He looked around the Grand Master's office, noting the style and appearance of the office. It likely change from person to person, one might have books and more office appearance, another could have plants growing everywhere. Each office design spoke to their personality. The last time that he was in here Jyoti was only newly made as Grand Master so he was eager to see what her style was.

After a short look around, Yuroic took the seat that was offered to him and listened to what she had to say. Nodding his head, shosing he understood he came up with a few questions. This League was hopefully going to help them but it meant a lot of trust would be involved. "Are we sure we can trust this League? Also, my main concern is, if we talk with this League and the Cartel find out, how do we avoid offending them? I said if, I should correct that to when. The Cartel have ears everywhere as people are easy to buy it seems sadly." Yuroic commented, he was eager to see Nar Shaddaa in safer hands but knew that there was a lot of risk involved with this.

Gangs were not always fans of a Jedi Order. Hutts especially.
