Public Dinner With a Bounty Hunter

sɪɴɴᴇʀs ʙʏ ᴅᴇᴇᴅ ʙᴜᴛ ʀɪɢʜᴛᴇᴏᴜs sᴛɪʟʟ
What a night this was turning out to be! She didn't expect the chiss to eat those rounds and keep going, but after she called out to "make friends", she knew that this was going to be fun.

"That could be arranged. What are you suggesting chiss?" she called out to them, getting a quick comm from darsch, who was on the move.
Damn, I guess she'll be calming that trigger finger after all.

:: don't play risky and don't blow up, got it. The chiss, she's tryna make deals, I think she got the message:: she chuckled into the commlink.

She'd peek out around the corner from time to time, ready to blast back if things got heated again, or rather, when she was ready to heat them.
Then came darsch on the comms again, ready to breach and clear.

::Haha! Sounds good, I'll tell you if I see a good opportunity. we might have to soon though, the chiss is threatening to blast our mark and spoil the bounty if you go trigger happy, and get this: She's gunna think we're cooperating now that you've moved:: Joti was feeling as smug as can be, this was just too much fun, and by the force did she miss hunting with a partner! it felt good.

Draconis's senses heightened as a conflict seemed to erupt from nothing. Blaster fire rained down upon them. Adrenaline began to course through his body. The smell of burnt ozone was thick in the air as the laser rounds closed distance between assailant and target. He spun round with lightning reflexes to meet his opponents and his comrades followed suit. The sound of the guns discharge and storming boots could be heard as the skirmish seemed to escalate into a full blown battle. Draconis raised his shield and blaster rounds pinged off the personal energy shield built into it while his fellow initiates began to return fire. Draconis eye's zeroed in on the two enemies at the end of the hall whom only moments ago had begun firing on them. Now half his number were dead and Draconis watched as he could do nothing, his expression showing only a hint of the pain he was feeling as his brothers fell all around him. The familiar feeling of phrik and Thyrsian steel was cold to the touch as blade hilt and shield handle rested in the clasped confines of his now sweaty hands. With the adrenaline of war coursing through Draco's body he saw and felt almost everything.

"Retreat!" He shouted over the din of blaster fire.

His companions regained composure and slowly began to react as a unit would rather than a bumbling group of thugs. The remaining four began to cover each other while at the same time slowly falling back towards the drug den from which they had just emerged. Two layed down suppressive fire while the remaining two ran back. Draconis waved them along encouragingly with sword drawn while at the same time providing mobile cover with his great shield for the routing team mates. They had finally reached the door way when Draconis heard glass shatter. He turned to face the new threat while the last two Sun Guard ran for the portal. Draconis saw the cursed T shaped visor that so easily marked a Mandalorian. He had faced them on the fields of Eshan when he and Golden company layed waste to their accursed world and threw off the yolk of both Mandalorian and Echani oppression.

These people were nothing compared to the might of Thyrsus.

But even so, his mind went back for a moment. Back to that cold crusade. Mortar rounds exploded all around him throwing up plumes of smoke and debris into the air, but still he charged on. His phalanx collapsed and his fellow auxiliary were gunned down their flesh erupting into gouts of red liquid and gore as they were struck, but still he charged on. Men lay dying and screaming in puddles of blood as dirt and chit marred their armor, crying for their mothers, crying for their fathers, crying for anything... Finally he made it to the Mandalorian and Echani lines with a small contingent of fellow sword and board wielding initiates. The battle devolved into a bloody melee and so few of them made it out... It was not till true Thyrsian Legionaries showed up that they were able to turn the tide of the battle and win the day...

Draconis snapped to and his eyes spit daggers at the bounty hunter. If looks could kill the Mandalorian would certainly be dead. She charged forward and flames erupted from her gauntlets. Draconis raised his shield with only a second to spare. The flames were hot against his arm and board, beyond the safe confines of it he could hear the screams of his roasting comrades. Draconis dove backwards with shield still raised, kicking the door shut as he landed. The two remaining Sun Guard initiates looked at him with wide eyes. Draconis was furious, he had expected a simple contingent of thugs and nothing more. But Mandalorians? Never. He stood quickly and turned to face the remaining initiates.

"Dawn your armor, but remain within the confines of this place till I call for your aid!" He barked angrily, his face furrowed in deep bouts of rage.

The bouncer cowered in the corner and the servants hid behind him. None intervened as the initiates entered the rooms reserved for the spice den's personnel. They found their armor standing in a semi circle in a rear corner of the room. Draconis pressed a button on the back of his armor and it seemed to split in two, but truthfully the power armor was allowing admittance for the warrior. He dropped shield and sword as he entered the suit, sweat still beading his brow and permeating around his crevices. The suit enclosed itself around his frame and he felt the soft dura foam within begin to soak up his excess moisture. He bent low retrieving sword and shield then turned to see the two remaining initiates armed and fully prepared for combat. Using a private comm channel he ordered them again

"Rest here till I call for your assistance..." His voice was grim, but sure.

He entered the room adjacent to the hall, but his form was still shielded by the room's walls. The room was dimly lit and his visor's tactical display adjusted for proper lighting. Dust particles floated through the air and a cob web hung in the rear right ceiling corner. Draconis rubbed his finger upon the the table, which was flanked by three chairs, and brought the dust covered appendage to his face.

Disgusting.

His solemn thought came, bellying his true emotions and keeping him within the present. His tongue flicked and his helmet's HUD changed vision. The walls seemed to melt away for himself while humanoid figures became highlighted with a yellow aura. He walked to the section of the room until he was directly parallel with the Mandalorian labeled Red. He raised his shield and with a thought his jump pack sent him flying through the thin sheet of wall and barreling towards the would be bounty hunter. With adrenaline pumping through his brain time seemed to slow for a moment.

The dust exploded outward in a great geyser as it followed Draconis's now golden clad form out the previous room and into the next. Alabaster and sheet rock flew like shrapnel in all directions trailing white plumes of smoke everywhere. The fog of battle began anew as Draconis, in that fraction of second that was allotted to him, that moment from which he was mid flight and collision, activated his shields plasmatic rim. Seeking to cut through the Mandalorian like butter with shield Draconis thrusted his shield arm out ward when he was an inch away from the red warrior he sought to deal a crippling blow. His armor enhanced his strength by eight fold and his shields plasmatic rim combined for a deadly combo.

In that fraction of a second a smile began to twitch on the corner of Draconis's lips...

Still clutching the beeping detonator in his hand, one of the blasters in the other, Alyosha stood in the dim hallway, his sweat turning cold. The possibility that he might have to die here and now to escape a worse fate had left him feeling eerily calm, almost tranquil. But he was not quite at peace.

At the other end of the building, where he had last seen Aloy Vizsla Aloy Vizsla standing among the bodies of the dead thugs, he now heard a tremendous crash as the wall was blasted through. He didn't dare risk a peek, but he had a feeling that it was the work of one of the thugs who had managed to retreat. Perhaps some of them weren't mere common criminals after all.

He was not one to interrupt his enemies while they were fighting among themselves. While the red-armored Mandalorian was preoccupied with her assailant, he turned his attention to Maiven , who had been so eager to sell him out once she realized he would be of no use to her. He felt the weight of the detonator in his hand... and pressed the button to de-arm the explosive. The flashing light winked out and the beeping fell silent as he reattached the unspent device to his belt.

"This is your last chance to back out," he called to the Chiss. "Your contact clearly hasn't pulled through. You don't need to stick around and risk getting killed. Your armor protected you once already, but next time you may not be so lucky. Leave now and tell your superiors it was all a misunderstanding."

Retrieving his second blaster, he held them at the ready. Whether she agreed or refused, he had to get past her in order to reach his apartment.

As the battle raged on in the building , 3 Directorate Gunships soared above the Corellian City on route to the building. Inside one of these Shuttles was James Cerensp who was leading a force of 10 Directorate Supercommandos and 44 Directorate Troopers to come at the aid of an Assassin called Alyosha Drutin. The Man was on the run with a bounty on his head and the DIB needed someone like him for their future Operations , but first James needed to ensure that he came out of that building alive.

Soon the Directorate Gunships arrived at the Building as James put on his helmet and activated his thermal sensor detecting many life forms. James soon identified one human and one Chiss , guessing that the Human was Alyosha Drutin. Soon he had his gunship move to the roof of the building where James and his Supercommando came out and entered the buildings staircase descending towards the level where Alyosha Drutin was. As James Cerensp's men approached their destination , James ordered his men to prepare their weapons in preparation for their attack.

The man had a point. There was nothing left on Corellia that would help Maiven. She would have better luck elsewhere if she could actually get out of here. Maiven had a great deal of respect for Mandalorians, but these two didn't seem the respectable type. It was bounty hunter versus bounty hunter. She wasn't surprised that this was the situation she got her self into when pursuing the Black Sun, and she certainly wasn't surprised when the authorities came. Whoever this directorate was, their soldiers had begun to occupy the building.

"Oh forget Mando, I'm leaving, I won't be in your way any longer." She looked at Alyosha Drutin with a dirty eye, "You would've been better off blowing everything up. Good luck."

Maiven turned to leave. Her walk quickly became a jog down the hall. Through the windows down the hall she searched the skyline for the blue mandalorian. Gone. She ducked into the stairwell and became to mount the flights of stairs. She prayed she wouldn't find what she didn't want to.

As she burst through the door to the roof she saw just that. 3 gunships and a platoon of soldiers that she wouldn't be able to take on her own. She clutched the burnt spot on her chest, not because it hurt (although it did) but to feint defeat. She stumbled out of the door and collapsed at the feet of the soldiers. "Those... those Mandalorians shot me. I'm on a diplomatic mission from the Chiss Ascendancy and those scum shot me! You better get down there, it's a nightmare!" She screamed at the soldiers. While one soldier "helped" her over to a gunship, the others began to descend the stairwell.

The free-for-all had just gotten interesting.

Darsch cursed quietly and raised a comm as she looked out a viewport and spotted the Directorate forces coming. "Joti, get the hell out of there... It's became way too hot!" It was too late for her warning as she saw Draconis charge in. She instantly feared for the safety of her partner. More than she should've. It felt like Blue had become an overprotective older sister when she was with Joti. She only prayed that hopefully today they'd make it back to the ship and have another drink together. Darsch felt like she needed to go in now to save her partner. The amount of the bounty wasn't worth their lives or freedom. She moves through the building and discovered Draconis's men. A smirk came to her face as she drew his two Westars and made quick work of them.

Again, she returns to the apartment and saw Draconis try to harm Joti. "NO!" She exclaimed raise her wrist to fire a rocket. "Red.. Get down." She says as a rocket flew from her wrist towards Draconis's armor. She watched the chiss run past her but she didn't stop her and just let her go as the rocket hits Draconis in the back. "Get away from her you barbarian!" She taunted the big bulky attempting to shift his attention to her and not to Joti. Darsch's armor was made of beskar so it can take a beating but Joti will probably end up in bad shape. The Mando took her Westar Carbine off her back and aimed it at the man. Without a second of thinking she fired at him. "Joti, get out of here.. Get to the ship. I'll catch. Go!" She said. Darsch didn't really care about her own safety but Joti was still a young naive mando so she should get out of there and live a good life.

Joti had been somewhat distracted with the comms and the chiss negotiating, but thankfully her pulse scanner was still working. Draconis Caesar had moved quickly, quickly enough that she'd be dead if not for that scanner, which picked him up right away, catching her eye at the last second. Her jetpack activated just in time, saving her from being cut by the shield, or at least, from having her cuirass broken.
It wasn't fast enough to completely save her though, her leg got clipped by the strange personal shield, damaging her makeshift greaves and leaving a sizable cut across her shin.

"
Aggh!" She gasped, hitting the floor a few feet away. She pulled herself to her feet as Darsch's wrist rocket zipped past. She instinctively tried to run, only to stumble as her wound bled. Wincing in pain, she decides to use her rocket boots, sending her into a low hover. "It's Fine- I'm fine! We gotta grab 'em quick though!" she grunted.

Joti needed that money, and she was a stubborn fething girl too, a dangerous combo, especially for oneself.

Now that she was in the air again with pressure taken off her hurt leg, she'd lean forward and boost the rocket boots, carrying her towards the bounty at the other end of the hall.

With Maiven gone, Alyosha attempted to cross the hallway to where she had once stood, only to be intercepted by Aloy Vizsla Aloy Vizsla , shooting through the air with her rocket boots trailing flames behind her. Dropping, he rolled across the floor underneath her as she flew over him, managing to squeeze out a couple of shots aimed at her legs. He intended to blast the rocket part of the boots, thereby leaving her grounded, if not completely incapacitated.

Without stopping to see if it worked, Alyosha got back on his feet and broke into a run, intent on reaching his apartment. The route took him past another stairwell, one in which he could hear the pounding of many, many boots descending. Too many to be another gang of bounty hunters or thugs, and too uniform to be anything less than trained personnel. He wasn't sure what to make of that, but it didn't matter.

He finally reached his apartment and went straight for his gear, much of which was still packed away in his bag. It wasn't much - a jacket that provided light armor, a pair of combat boots, another blaster pistol and a vibrodagger. He yanked on the jacket and boots as fast as he could, slung the bag holding the rest of his equipment across his shoulder, and headed back out, still holding one of the pistols at the ready.

Whether it was the two Mandalorians, the guy in the power suit, or the small army marching down the stairwell, he doubted he'd be able to just walk out of there.

Draconis flew through the air with the grace of a Nabooian Swan. The elegant silhouette of his golden armor casting a slim shadow across the floor as his physical form prepared to make contact with the bounty hunter fledgling. Before he could draw the first strike however her own senses activated. What seemed to be a preternatural six sense, but was truly a feat of advanced technology allowed her head to swivel to his vector of attack. She activated jet packs and went flying forth, but not before Draconis's shield could lash at Red's retreating hamstring. The smile had now turned to a manic grin as the adrenaline coursed through the barbarian's veins and he drew blood. Red lights flashed in the general direction of the incoming projectile a millisecond later informing the battle hungry mercenary of his imminent doom.

His tunneled vision played havoc upon his senses and he had to force himself to pay the alert notice. All within a split second Draconis regained his composure and spun deftly with shield towards the incoming explosive. It impacted with the personal built in energy shield and the energy dissipated while the missile continued until it reached the phrik plating beneath. Draconis was rocked as a wave of kinetic energy sent him flying backwards and into the wall behind him. The alabaster sheeting caved in and large cracks spider webbed from Draconis's point of impact. His ears rang and his vision faded threatening to consume his sight and consciousness. His sword fell from his grasp while he remained stuck in the wall for a moment before finally he fell to the ground on his arms and knees.

He shook his head as the taste of copper entered his mouth.

His armor's HUD blinked warning signs and eerie flashing lights. Draconis thought for a moment that the lights were his Thyrsian ancestors calling to him, but in the mere seconds it took him to compose himself he began to recognize the warnings for what they were. With simple thoughts Draconis quickly sifted through the cautionary messages. Status reports of his current wounds and his armor's status were sent through immediately to his mind's eye seemingly by some form of technological telepathy. He had suffered several hemorrhages and the fore arm upon which his shields vice rested was shattered. His armor's fore arm had locked up acting as a splint and bacta had already been injected into the wounded areas, beginning the healing process and easing the pain immensely.

Draconis tested his broken arm by lifting the shield up and down.

It appeared the joint was still functional, but the better part of the rest of the arm was broken. He shook his head once more. He needn't worry as he would still be able to use the shield. Most blast rounds carried no weight and Draconis figured the Mandalorians kinetic arsenal was little. He propped himself up upon a knee and quickly reached for his sword. He turned to face the new threat that was Blue and lifted his shield arm. The wrist launcher lay precariously beneath the shield and had to be aimed by line of sight rather than auto locking. He scowled at the blue Mandalorian and wildly fired a burst of disruptor rounds towards her. He had few blast packs for the wrist disruptor and would have to use them carefully.

Disruptor rounds were a precarious thing, they incinerated whatever came within contact of them. Melting through even phrik and Beskar with ease.

A second after he fired the burst of rounds at Blue his head spun back to Red. He hoped that while wild, the disruptor projectiles would keep Blue pinned down while he eviscerated Red in front of her. Draconis scowl deepened as his eyes once more locked on the Mandalorian fledgling. He had gotten careless before, giving into his baser rage and letting his vision becoming tunneled. Draconis's mouth twitched in iritation. He would not let it happen again. Still kneeling Draconis activated his thruster pack sending him leaping towards the Red Mandalorian. He sought to grapple her to the ground beneath them both. Sweat was beggining to drench the dura foam within his armor. Draconis knew he could not take another hit like before. If he did he would surely not be able to carry on the fight. With a roar through open comms so that all may hear the cannibalistic anger that crashed through his body he rocketed towards Red.

"RAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!"

Objective : Detain Mandalorians ( Aloy Vizsla Aloy Vizsla Darsch Vizsla Darsch Vizsla ) , Aid Alyosha Drutin Maiven and Draconis Caesar

As small battles raged on , James and his men reached the floor where Alyosha was spotted with James encountering a Chiss Female that had been shot. James soon motioned one Supercommando to escort her to one of their Gunships while James and the rest of his men arrived armed and ready soon spotted Alyosha who headed for his apartment. James then proceeded to follow Alyosha intending to make good allies out of Alyosha Maiven seeing them as potential allies for the Directorate and perhaps the Grayson Imperium while James himself separated himself from the group of Supercommandos to follow Alyosha.

James followed Alyosha waiting outside his apartment for him to re-emerge from the entrance , soon when the Assassin came out of the door and found himself facing James Cerensp and his men. "Hello there Alyosha Drutin , i mean no harm and i only want to talk with you." James began. " I came here under orders to help you evade these Bounty Hunters and to give you an offer , one that will give you protection from this bounty and one that will change your life forever. So what do you think Drutin?"

Forced to halt by the sudden appearance of James Cerensp , Alyosha's mouth set in a grim smirk as the man gave his little speech. He looked the man up and down. Spotless uniform, rigid militaristic bearing, grandiose words matched by the march of armed commandos down the hall behind him—all designed to impress, or at the very least to make an impression.

"You're welcome to take care of those Mandalorians, but leave me alone," Alyosha snapped, exhaustion and the onset of an adrenaline crash getting the better of his mood. "I don't need you. I can take care of the bounty on my head on my own. I just need..." He trailed off, realizing belatedly that he was about to say help. He did need help—whatever help he could get, in fact. Especially now.

Still, he resented the thought of serving yet another master so soon after he had shaken off the first one's yoke. Tightening his grip on his blaster, he grit his teeth and bit out, "What do you want from me?"

Meanwhile the Mandalorians continue brawling with the armored figure. Blue had continued to fire her blaster at the man. Her shots were very accurate yet the armor would probably hold. The armored man had pulled out a disruptor causing Darsch to kick a table at him. She would get up running behind him. The mando reaches into here utility belt pulling out a small thermal detonator and attaching it to the Man's back. He was big and bulky. There's no way he could turn around to take it off. She smirked as she shot her grappling hook into his armor. Her jetpack beeps to life as she pulled with all her might and the jetpack to pull the armored man out the window. She pulls again being able to hang the armored man on the side of the building. The hook detaches and attaches to the side of the building. "Joti! It's time to go!" Darsch shouts over the roar of her Jetpack. Soon they'd be swarmed by the Correlians. The Blue armored mandalorian stood at the window looking at Joti awaiting her next move.

sɪɴɴᴇʀs ʙʏ ᴅᴇᴇᴅ ʙᴜᴛ ʀɪɢʜᴛᴇᴏᴜs sᴛɪʟʟ
"Damnit!" She shouts as a stray bolt hits one of her rocket boots, sending her sputtering to the ground, slamming sideways across the smooth durasteel floor and into the wall. When she had recovered, alyosha had already moved, along with several DIA agents it seemed. She slammed her fist against the floor out of frustration and sat upright, looking back to see that Darsch was keeping mister power armour busy.
Without a tracking a proper tracking fob and the authorities taking an interest for no apparent reason, This trip was getting worse all the time...

"Yeah. Yeah It is, Blue" She calls out to darsch, reaching to grip a windowsill and pull herself up. She then breaks the glass with her gauntlet, the adrenaline dulling the pain.

::Meet you back at the ship:: She says over comms before jumping out, her jetpack roaring to life once more and carrying her away. Darsch was death watch, she could handle herself, and joti just might save herself some scolding later if she bugged out now instead doing something stupid...

It looked like alyosha drutin would go free. This time.

After detonated the detonator, Darsch flew out heading to the ship to meet up with Joti. This trip had been a complete failure. The bounty was too hot and the DIA was popping up too then this big brute shows up out of nowhere. She was going to have a long conversation with Joti once they returned to the ship. A long and important one.
