Manufacturer: Alkor Centaris
Affiliation: [member="Vilaz Munin"]
Model: N/A
Modularity: Plasma Filament can be replaced if damaged.
Production: Unique.
Material: Beskar crystalline carbons leather scraps plasma monofilament
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Classification: Tomahawk
Size: Small
Weight: Heavy
SPECIAL FEATURES
Heavyweight at a small size, this weapon packs an unexpected punch.
Plasma monofilament increases cutting power while active.
Ability to trigger monofilament at-will makes tomahawk a very cunning weapon.
Strengths:
+ Heavy-handed: due to its heft, the blade can hold its own even against larger weapons. Its shape and design lend to it allowing more tactical movements, albeit with some effort. It also has the ability to, *ahem* smash.
+ Plasma?!: The monofilament is able to cut through materials not unlike a lightsaber, and the lack of dimetris circuitry means it has no inherent weakness to Cortosis. However, it remains much less overtly powerful than the standard lightsaber.
+ Flick on, flick off: the ability to turn the filament on and off at will makes it a cunning weapon, and a skilled user can exploit weak points in armor to devastating effect.
Weaknesses:
- Filament durability: Because it's only a single filament, prolonged duress or extreme damage to the strand can break it down and render it useless. This means it will need to be replaced, and the user should anticipate a need to have new filaments on hand. Additionally, it takes time to replace, so it cannot be done during battle.
-Heavy: Not nearly as deft as other small weapons, it is not a finesse weapon. A skilled grappler will get more use and effect out of this weapon than a blademaster. Additionally, it's not going to match a lightsaber in a contest of swiftness.
- Reach: Short range attacks and defense only.
DESCRIPTION
Crafted for Vilaz Munin for his Crusade against the unworthy Mand'alor, this tomahawk was designed with a sturdier enemy in mind. Due to its heft, it isn't ideal for throwing. The shape and durability of the weapon lend to it being extremely useful as both a tool and a supplement to a skilled unarmed combatant.
Honed Mandalorian Iron and carbons make the axe resistant to strikes from many types of weapons, and it can even endure prolonged exposure to vibroweapons (provided the user is strong enough to withstand the extreme vibrations). Additionally, it utilizes a monofilament plasma edge, which enhances its cutting power exponentially when active. This can be activated during combat with an unexpecting opponent to great effect.
Alkor based the weapon off of his own Beskad, which he melted down in the creation of this tomahawk. It is his last gift to the Mandalorian culture- a hope for a better future, albeit one without him.
