OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: The High Council Chambers
  • Classification: Council Hall / Seat of Governance
  • Location: Bastion, Apex of the Crucible of Order
  • Affiliation: The Diarchy
  • Accessibility: Located at the peak of the Crucible's central spire, accessible only through guarded lifts and secured passages. Entry is strictly controlled limited to the Diarchs, council members, high-ranking officers, Brotherhood masters, and invited envoys/civilians as the Diarch's take council with citizens per request.
  • Description:
The High Council Chambers are an immense circular hall of polished stone, carved wood, and dark metals, built to evoke both majesty and intimidation. The design embodies the Diarchy's philosophy of peace through strength, power and restraint, light and shadow, ruler and ruled. At its core lies a small portion of white marble that came directly from the Diarch's fathers (Kakus) house on Taris. A reminder that when something is discussed, it is spoken upon the teachings and vows of the Diarch's father. Encircled by high thrones for the council.

POINTS OF INTEREST

  • Council Chamber Doors: Monumental wooden double doors mark the entrance. Carved at their center are Rellik and Reign, back-to-back with sabers raised skyward in mirrored poses, framed by ornamental engravings. The doors serve as both threshold and symbol of unity.
  • Marble Monument to Kakus: At the center is a circular cut out of white marble that stands in contrast to the rest of the room. A reminder of where the Diarch's came from and a symbol to remember that as new decisions are made.
  • Ring of Thrones: High-backed seats of carved stone and black alloy surround the dais in a semi-circle.
  • Symbolic Architecture: Dual motifs recur throughout, paired pillars, mirrored carvings, and split patterns of light and shadow. These reinforce the Diarchy's doctrine that strength lies in balance between two forces.
  • Acoustic Design: The chamber is deliberately engineered so that every voice carries clearly, ensuring that words of judgment, decree, or challenge are heard by all.

SECURITY
  • Rating: Maximum
  • Assets:
    • Preserver (Temple Guard): stationed at all approaches.
    • Security checkpoints throughout the Crucible spire.
    • Reinforced durasteel blast-doors and shielding protocols.
    • Concealed surveillance and sensor systems.
    • Emergency lockdown measures capable of isolating the chamber entirely.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The High Council Chambers were built during the earliest construction of the Crucible of Order, envisioned as the spiritual and political summit of the Diarchy. Commissioned by the Diarchs themselves.

The artisans of Bastion blended architectural traditions in the teachings of Kakus, wooden carvings symbolizing the mortal roots of the Diarchy. The monumental doors, depicting the two Diarchs in mirrored pose, were among the first pieces installed, signifying that all who enter step know they are to work together in these chambers. It is not an arena.

Over the years, the chamber has borne witness to declarations of war and peace, trials of Sith, Jedi and senators alike, and the reception of envoys from across the galaxy. It has heralded new amazing people into the Diarchy, given the people a place to share their voice with the Diarch's themselves, and stood as a testament to the Diarch's vision of a galaxy that works together.

Do you want the link to the preserver guards? The only description we have of them are in the brotherhood page that I have linked :) Just let me know.

Besides that there are none really. I could link Durasteel and look up some star wars surveillance systems if you would like. <3 that is okay.
