Diamond Clouds, I think we're getting closer

Jenn wasn't terribly excited since the events had occurred. With the destruction or whatever of Corellia, and the rapture, she and the teams of Agents of Tion were working double time to make sure that everything was carrying on in the best possible way. She was focusing her efforts in her spare time (because it gave her a challenge) on finding priceless artifacts in the galaxy and who to procure them from.

It seemed most were giving her dead ends, a few sending her into the realm of the Silver Jedi. Those... well, she wasn't sure what to call them. Some sort of hippie trippy wannabes of Jedi. She knew Jedi, saw them in the Levantine Sanctum, those were the people that seemed to be open to everything. Still, the agent wasn't about to go running off into the Silver's space to break into a vault and steal everything.

Or was she...?

Right now? She was on Tion Proper, the oceanic world with three industrial moons. She wanted to ensure that Tion was going to agree to hold to the Rudrig Proclamation. She was so worried that her initial sponsor to the Tion Hegemony, Marek Starchaser had dispatched relief efforts and a luxury liner straight off the assembly line into the system. Lianna may be the capital of the Hegmeony, but Tion Proper was the heart and name sake.

She wanted off Lianna, and once the CEOs came in to establish a prescence, took her Santhe Challenger by Santhe (Thanks Santhe!) to the water world. She could only hope that [member="Emerald Sage"] was going to arrive shortly. They had to meet with some diplomats, shake somes hands, pledge assistance (which was a given) and then get on to the actual reason for this trip.

Emerald had arrived via a commuter transport. She groaned. Her last ship was abandoned after collecting a particularly nasty bounty. It was too high profile now. She sold the bucket off and walked away. The ocean world of Tion was a nice enough place and Emerald would have loved to visit any number of beaches on the planet should time allow it, but for now she had a job to do.

It was a small resort where she decided on meeting Jenn. It was picturesque to say the least. Diplomats and dignitaries from the planet would be swarming the resort soon enough. Already Emerald could see the extra security, small things that activated warning signals in her head. Already Emerald was lacing the air with a simple pheromone to put everyone at ease.

Keeping people calm was one of Emeralds best skills, and in a crisis such as this it would be important for the pair to keep everyone… compliant….

Jenn had been waiting for [member="Emerald Sage"] for a bit. But like she mentioned, was keeping busy. Checking reports on the Silvers, realizing she needed to get out there and start taking what was there's but first, it was getting this system set up. And with word that others were taking a look? She was wanting to make sure that Rudrig was enforced and the planet would still honor the Tion Hegemony. Simple, really. Checking the time on her datapad, she nodded.

Was about time, she could almost feel the other's presence. Maybe not so much in the Force, but in the pheromones. Simple, really, just needed to wait for her to show up. Not that Jenn wasn't excited, and there was some business needing to be done. She checked the security detail for the day. Simple.

Right, so that left her meeting diplomats. Wonderful.

Emerald smiled and shook hands weaving through the crowd with the grace of a dancer. A handshake here, a flirtatious smile a light touch and a flash of skin where needed were quickly applied. She told people how Lianna and the corporations of the Hegemony would help to cover losses. Most perked up at the thought of money being offered. To those billionaires like [member="Sasha Santhe"] and [member="Gerion Ardik"] the credits were measly amounts.

“Oh Jenn honey,” Emerald said. She waved her hand in the air to beckon [member="Jennifer Blanchard"] over.. He was under the pheromone spell already, Emerald could tell just by looking at him. Calm and suggestive. “Jenn there is someone I’d like you meet. Poor Baron Enfili here has a problem. Don’t you Sir Enfili?”

Hearing his name the Baron snapped out of his daze, “Yes,” he said staring intently at the slit in Emeralds dress, “You see my Bantha Ranches just aren’t producing and with this latest crisis I fear there will be no recovering.”

“How awful.” Emerald said in a concerned voice. “Too many thefts you see. Bantha rustlers.”

“Yes, they are an absolute menace. Its making it so the business can’t sustain itself.”

Emerald thought of the business that both herself and Jenn were into and their benefactors. [member="Marek Starchaser"] and [member="Sasha Santhe"] had deep pockets but weren’t out to waste money. No this may require some cunning to get a good price. “Jenn, isn’t there something we can do?”

Jenn was an active individual, but the way Emerald moved was something else. The artificially hair-colored Agent of Tion was working on missions, while Emerald was doing her thing to... what exactly was she doing? Helping ease woes? Well, people were on the aquatic world of Tion to escape the troubles, and enjoy some semblance of normalcy. She knew that the CEO's of Tion were going to need to do a lot of work to keep things flowing, but they had the money, it wasn't that nervous of an idea.

Hearing [member="Emerald Sage"] all but coo at her, the agent looked up. The blonde was good at that, being personable, where Jenn was... a bit rougher? She wasn't meaning to be, maybe it wasn't the right nuance? Cold? Cold would work better.

Getting to her feet, she made her way to the noble and her partner. She was starting to listen, and then realized it was Bantha ranches. That was all sorts of sacred, so much as Jenn frakking hated getting dirty. She was a city girl, wanted to be an officer of the law, was an agent of Tion, and tracked down cyber crimes and other issues that befell the Cluster.

“What do you have in mind?” She looked to the other.

Emerald smiled at [member="Jennifer Blanchard"] and looked between her and the minor tionese noble. The truth was that while Sasha Santhe had sent them to Tion to placate those present in the room they had another more long term objective. They needed a cover and source of legitimate income for their activities. Businesses made the best cover and already Emerald was getting idea’s in her pretty little head. “Well we, that is to say the people we represent, could buy you out?” She paused for a moment, “But it isn’t profitable, poor sales of Bantha Milk and meat in the region?” An overly emoted frown appeared on her face.

“That’s correct. The market is oversaturated I’m afraid, and on top of that these raiders…”

“None of that matters I don’t think, Mister Marek and Miss Santhe are very generous people.” Wheels inside wheels turned. Emerald ran over the various corporate assets of Tion in her head. “I’m sure we could find a use for Bantha herds, maybe even as just means to feed the less fortunate.” She placed a hand on the mans arm, “You mustn't think of this as charity for yourself, but rather for all of Tion and beyond…”

She always left the interpersonal work up to [member="Emerald Sage"]. Jenn was the type to find information out and work off of that. And her information typically came from behind a computer terminal. It was just a lot more simple, and no room for decoding. Others might know how to read the data, but the fact that she got it? That was her job. And then she'd follow out what the CEOs of Tion told her to do. It was simple that way. She wasn't really going to attempt to do what Em did.

Merely just watch and listen, and nod appropriately.

But then she heard Marek's name mentioned, along with Sasha. Right, the pair could buy the company out really simply, but what would it be good for? She wasn't sure. Banthas... Great. Big, dirty, smelly. What could they be used for. Still, she listened and nodded to Emerald and the Baron man. Even if she was internally shaking her head.

Emeralds smile widened. “Yes,” she said, “It will be a sacrifice on behalf of our current employers but it’s one they would willingly make time and time again.” She raised her voice a little so everyone could hear. “We will be happy to buy your Bantha Ranches.” Reaching a hand out she gently touched [member="Jennifer Blanchard"]’s arms and pulled her aside. “Could you make the arrangements dear.” Emerald had a plan, one that she formulated at that exact juncture, and it required Banthas. Lots of Banthas. “My dear Baron, everything will be well in order soon enough and you can extricate yourself from this entire mess.”

“Thank you Miss Sage,” the man said with a nod. “I appreciate all of Santhe and Starchasers efforts.”

Yes. They could buy that. Seemed well in their range of permissions with their superiors. And if [member="Emerald Sage"] had an idea, Jenn was game to follow. Being pulled off yo the side, she Nodded. "Of course." Giving the Baron a small nod, she took her leave, heading off to a quiet area to put the work order and credit request in.

What was going to be step two? Send mercs to fight off the Raiders?
