SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Significantly augments the wearer's telekinetic abilities.
STRENGTHS
  • Existence Denied: Devil's Advocate has the unique ability to synergize with its wearer's telekinetic abilities. When the Force is channeled through the piece, the twin pairs of Jakobeast Horns elevate the assault dramatically. For example, a rudimentary Push that could scarcely cause a target to stumble can be elevated to the point of uprooting a target of average weight.
  • Young Jakobeast's Spine: As the bones themselves have been enhanced via Sith Alchemy, the Devil's Advocate possesses the innate ability to withstand the blows of lightsabers or other energy-based weaponry. What's more, the design of the Devil's Advocate is such that catching an enemy's lightsaber blade between the spines is an easy task, thereby creating a vicious advantage in close quarters.
WEAKNESSES
  • Limitations: While the Devil's Advocate is capable of drastically elevating the user's telekinetics, there is an upper limit. Young Jakobeast horns were incorporated into this artifact - and only two pairs to boot. Meaning that, while a user can certainly shove an adult male onto his posterior with a rudimentary Push, a user certainly will not be able to level a forest or swat away a Star Destroyer with little else than a nosebleed.
  • Weight: As is the case with all alchemical creations, the process of elevating mere bone to a state of lightsaber resilience causes a drastic increase in weight. In the case of Devil's Advocate, what would typically be a series of light bones upon the wearer's arm have increased to the weight of a much heavier armor. As such, this piece is not designed for the frail or the meek, as one must possess solid physical condition to wear Devil's Advocate and remain combat effective.
  • Spectrum: As is the case with all alchemical creations, concentrated Force Light can and will devastate this artifact. Furthermore, it ceases to function within Force-Neutral zones; such as Ysalamir or Voidstone fields. Furthermore, this artifact only elevates telekinetics, meaning that anything resilient against this type of assault are completely immune; such as the Yuuzhan Vong or traditional Force Dead.
  • Boneless: Although thickened and enhanced by Sith Alchemy, the Devil's Advocate is still composed of Bone. As such, excessive forces can and will shatter, chip, and break pieces off. What's more, destruction of the spines will drastically reduce - or outright eliminate - the piece's ability.
DESCRIPTION

"What is the Devil's Advocate? A counter-point to your existence."

The Devil's Advocate is an exotic pauldron and bracer created at the hands of Darth Metus. Intended as a wartime preparation, it was created from the bones of Jakobeasts - which were then treated with the proprietary technique coined by Rave Merrill. In death, the Jakobeast bones retain the telekinetic strengths they once possessed in life; and now provide the wearer a significant boon to their telekinetic capabilities. Typically speaking, the artifact is utilized to provide the wearer relief during the performance of telekinesis - for the boon allows one to perform average feats without average expenditures.

However, this same trait does have an upper limit. While the Devil's Advocate can certainly enable its master to unseat an enemy with ease, it certainly cannot elevate any assault to the realm of godhood. It is, after all, composed of the bones of two young Jakobeasts; and not the jawline of Mikael Shorn. Yet, despite the upper limitations of its boon, the Devil's Advocate is a mighty artifact poised to aide its master in the wars to come.

This is too light for something made of bone, which is additionally alchemized for mild lightsaber resistance. I realize this is meant to be worn on the arm, but the materials and the process you've gone through justify a heavier weight. Considering the average sith sword's weight due to the addition of alchemy (and given this roughly makes up the same amount of size) is usually about 3 - 6.5 KG, I'm going to suggest placing this closer to 3 KG, if not higher. Weight should be a significant drawback to utilizing this.

First off, thank you for reviewing this submission! Really appreciate your time.

Second, added a new weakness: Weight, per your guidance.

Third, renamed the weakness "Bone-Shattering" to "Boneless."
