• Fires Large shells
 • Concealed Firing
DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
The Destroyers are capable of launching truly massive shells, compared to what can be considered standard for most hand mortars, or truthfully even most portable mortars. The standard shell these launchers are made to fire are of an equivalent size to many larger mortars used in light vehicles.
The design of the Destroyer is based on the rather archaic Spigot Mortar, which thanks to the shorter barrel and charges kept towards the read of the barrel, there is little smoke trail, and with the proper type of shell, very little noise. This makes the Destroyer a potential choice for covert operations or as an ambush equipment.

Strengths:
 • Capable of firing very large shells
 • Allows for stealthy confrontations
 • Easily reloadable
 • Bypasses most shields
Weaknesses :
 • Short Range
 • Not very Sturdy
 • Not very safe at close range
 • Heavy Recoil can cause damage to the unprepared
DESCRIPTION
The Destroyer is the invention born of Ultimatum’s desire for a troop anti-armor and anti-bunker weapon for standardized deployment. While energy based weapons may well be the future of such weapons, at the moment Ultimatum decided on a physical shell in order to render most forms of shielding ineffective.

The launcher is considerably heavier than most of its counterparts, yet lighter than a launcher which fires an equal size shell. The weight makes it less useful to unaltered organic soldiers than Ultimatum’s standard cybernetic troops. Beside the weight, the recoil on the weapon is considered dangerous, very likely to dislocate a person’s shoulder if they are not careful and particular in how they hold it. It would be possible to integrate a Destroyer into an emplacement with relative ease, allowing it to be used relatively safely by organics.

The shells are packed with approximately ten pounds of Baradium and a small amount of detonite. The charges were tested to be capable of blasting holes in most armored vehicles, and small starships. The shells have been designed for indirect fire, meaning that the focus of a person attack is based on an arc rather than a direct firing line. This allows the attacker to shoot over obstacles such as walls and wreckage in order to reach targets inaccessible along a straight line of sight.

The shells also act as a short term area-denial system. The Baradium in the explosives is radioactive, thus what little particles that are not completely destroyed when the detonation occurs, are thrown into the air and surrounding vicinity. The radioactivity of the area is likely to last approximately ten seconds. While this effect is short term, and unlikely to harm organics in the immediate future, the radiation poisoning is likely to have adverse effects towards the end of the organic’s life, whenever that may be.
