Material: Electronics, code, digits, Data chip
SPECIAL FEATURES
In-depth data on Starships.
Theoretical information on advanced math
Deep knowledge about slicing
DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
DES is a data chip with the consciousness of Desmond C’artyom uploaded onto it. As a result it is well versed in slicing machines. It also can serve as a combat tactician. Desmond C’artyom was also a pilot for the Imperial Navy before his transcendence as a result the chip AI has in-depth knowledge of ships and how they work. Being able to utilize the web of data that is the Holo Net DES may look up information and relay it to whoever he wishes within a split second. It is also capable of calculating math, (hyperspace jumps, theorems, algorithms, etc) with ease due to its in-depth calculator.
DESCRIPTION
DES is essentially Desmond C’artyom’s conciousness uploaded onto a chip. This was done when Desmond C’artyom suffered extensive injuries during a mission for the Empire. He was in a critical state and the doctors knew he could not be saved, so they flash copied his memories brain waves and thought process onto a data chip and cloned the Chiss. When Desmond finally died the first clone was outfitted with extensive cybernetics including a psicom 1260 interface. They took the data chip and linked it with the interface and uploaded DES to its new body. The chip is capable of being inserted into any compatible device including but not limited to, ships, weapons, terminals and much much more.
Strengths:
Unlimited knowledge: Being able to access the holo net grants DES a wide array of knowledge
AI: Contrary to a droid, DES has a wider range of sentience and can think outside of the box.
Weaknesses:
In chip form DES cannot defend itself
As a chip Des is easy prey for ion attacks.
