When Denn ascended to the rank of Jedi Knight, his mother sent him this garment 'to protect him in his travels.' Perhaps only the technical acumen of a Sephi could have defeated the construction challenges of forming Songsteel into thin wires for weaving into a tunic, and doing so without leaving prickly edges. Denn was deeply touched by the gesture, and has worn it ever since.
