PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Denn is a good-natured fellow who prefers to negotiate rather than fight. However, he is capable of violence and can be an intensely focused and determined combatant. His main talents are in force sensitivity and healing. He enjoys a good joke and deeper knowledge of the light side of the force. He does not believe dark-siders are evil, merely misguided and trapped in a web of their own desires. Denn's greatest weakness is his capacity for love, which can tempt him towards darkness if those he loves become threatened.
STRENGTHS
I Can Heal You - Denn's greatest talent lies with Force Healing, and he is gifted with it.
Can't Touch This - In his focus on avoiding violence, Denn has become a master of the defensive aspects of Soresu. He does not deflect attacks back at his enemies, however, preferring to harmlessly block them.

WEAKNESSES
I love you - Denn's ability to avoid forming attachments is weak, and is his greatest 'sin' in terms of Jedi philosophy. He can easily care too much for someone, and this can tempt him towards darkness.
I'm not here to hurt you - As an empathic healer, Denn does everything in his power to avoid killing. He will kill if forced, but will typically try anything else first. This approach can leave him vulnerable to ruthless and persistent foes who will return until they defeat him.
What does this button do? - Is not a nincompoop, but is also not particularly adept with technology. It took him seven tries to build his lightsaber. If he has to repair or modify technology, he's pretty hopeless.
HISTORY
Denn spent his early years on the Sephi homeworld, the son of a Sephi mother and a Human father. His upbringing there was difficult, as Sephi seemed to have an intrinsic connection to technology which he lacked. He constantly felt stupid when in class alongside full blood Sephi children. Eventually, his force powers manifested, and he was seen to restore a wounded bird to health with a touch. The Jedi were contacted, and he was remanded into their custody for proper training. Leaving his family was difficult, but going somewhere that his differences could be better appreciated was a boon.
Years later, upon achieving the rank of Jedi Knight, Denn was sent on a mission to Aing-Ti to help the reclusive alien monks there deal with slavers who had been predating upon their space. He fell in love with the Aing-Ti people and enjoyed their use of organic materials and living technologies, and remained as an envoy of the Jedi long after his mission was done. After a five-year mission on the Aing-Ti homeworld, he was recalled to the Jedi on Coruscant as the Sith advanced on Aing-Tii territory. The galaxy had fallen victim to spreading war and pain, and a healer was needed.
His Aing-Ti allies gifted him an organic starship made with their unique talents, and he was very grateful. Unlike a mechanical ship, this was one he could intrinsically understand with the Force, and even make repairs to with his Force Healing ability.
Now Denn has returned to the galaxy of technology and violence, hoping he can help stem the tides of agony that threaten to rip the galaxy apart.
