When bigger the hair creates certain patterns throughout the body in a striped pattern which allows for self identification within the species. Another way they use to identify one another is by their horn shape, the sharp protrusions form in a specific way to show relation or age. They stand at an average height of 8-9ft tall but with the subspecies of common seen delka have been heard to only get up to at least 5 or 7ft tall.
Races: N/A
Stregths[2 minimum]
The Dire Delka are famous for their swiftness which is sometimes even able to out speed even the native predators of the world . Their speed being due to their long leg spans followed by their stamina rich diet of plants. Being a non predatory species allowed for the delka to adapt and improve their natural survival instincts because of the planets large carnivorous population they literally are the embodiment of brains over brawn's; They are able to camouflage in the Tall white grasses of the planet and when a predator is nearby they motion their tails to secretly converse with one another to warn of the oncoming danger. The creatures have a very high awareness ,their keen eyes able to quickly shift focus, allowing them to essentially “zoom” in .They also can see a wider range of colors to differentiate small changes in coloration in the surrounding area This feature must have stayed in their evolutionary dna.

Weaknesses[2 minimum]
Even with their strong intellect and fast speeds they are physically flawed. They have slim bodies made to compliment for their natural speeds but this allows for them to also have a lower tolerance for pain .Once snared in the jaws of a predator it is almost inescapable. Some individuals in the species even have a tendency to be born deaf. This impairment leaves the animal susceptible to overhead attacks from the winged creatures also inhabiting the planet. They do sometimes use their horns to ward away enemies but they are known to not be sturdy and sometimes break off , they do eventually grow back but at a slow pace of a 6 months.

CULTURE
Diet: Herbivorous
Communication: Body Language: Tail swaying patterns Verbal Language: Loud Cry's
Technology Level:N/A
Religion/Beliefs:N/A
General behavior: The Species strongly believes in connections and family .They graze together, teach the youngest in the herd how to hide and camouflage in the tall white grass. Always creating a 360 degree protective circle to visually scout and protect one another while they feed. The usual temperament of the the delka is moderate with other species on the planet ,. They tolerate other herbivores allowing for them to walk by them or drink in the same area but get awfully cautious when their is a predator around not running until they are all close together. Sometimes when a predator would latch onto the slowest in the herd , they would even gang up on the attacker (depending on the numbers) while trying to recover the injured ,believing each member is equally as important as the last. The species doesn't have a culture per say; but do hold gatherings during their mating season. During the last few days of the season they hold challenges. They race each other either for the mate or sometimes even to challenge leadership in the herd trying not injure one another in the process. The sharper the horns of any member of the species they now are moved to either the front or back of the herd to protect the smaller vulnerable ones with dull horns .

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Dire Delka themselves were first split from a type of ancient bird like species, seen in their still prominent features of feathers located on the back and extremely advanced eyesight .They have been seen in carvings in caves from all throughout the planet from the earlier species that have lived on the planet .The original species themselves have either been hunted to near extinction or were able to evolve into sub delka's .When the species numbers grew smaller originally being in the 10 millions now only 4 million. This shortened the gene pool making them a less common sight from their shorter species of sub delka but both still retaining the same amount of features from their original species. They grew to be more mammal like able to withstand freezing temperatures for an exceptionally long amounts of time. since the start of the planet , the locals grind their horns for medicinal purposes mostly used as an antidote for the venom found in the talons of their predators the Braxen.

As it stands you've made too many modifications to the template that I can't feasibly judge this without having difficulty reading. If you could move this submission back on to the default Fauna template without any major modifications I can continue judging :D

[member="Kid Starburn"] Tiny reminder to just poke a Judge in question when you finish a submission modification so we know to take a look at it :D

So, everything is looking good, except one thing. Cersia is a custom planet you said you're submitting, but I don't see it either pending, approved or under review -- You'll need to do a submission for that first and link it on this submission (And link this one on that one) before I can stamp this for approval.

[member="Kid Starburn"] You're missing quite a few fields from the fauna species template still. You're missing the 'Breathes', 'Average height of adult', 'Religion/Beliefs', 'General Behaviour' and more, some look to have been combined into others which is not acceptable as it makes things unclear.

Again, please redo this on the Fauna template and make ZERO modifications to the structure or fields provided.

[member="Kid Starburn"] This is another 24 hour notice. If I don't see any modifications made to this submission in that time frame I'll be archiving this. There's been plenty of time for these issues to be fixed.
