This would not be known as 'The Battle of Gamorr' - it was just a skirmish. Still, it may still carry a degree of significance. Both sides were pulling back from the skirmish that had broken out and there appeared to be losses on both sides. Salvage crews would do what they could for whatever survivors were out there and importantly, recover what they could from the wrecked ships. Primarily the Concord vessels but also those of Darth Insatious Darth Insatious who's forces he had fought. A few long ranged shots were still being exchanged between the two battle groups but it was clear that the danger was over. For the time being. The elderly Admiral had taken an interest in one of the transport ships that had been downed. It was not a remarkable Mastodon from first appearances but his advanced scanners had picked up signs of advanced hardware loaded onto it. While it was impossible to be sure, it was likely that it contained a significant intelligence cache.

The Admiral looked to the Jedi, Mathieu Brion Mathieu Brion who sat by the back of the bridge. "Did you sense him?"

Mathieu looked unsure "I don't know. I don't think so Admiral."

"Good." Chaussidier paused. He could hear that there was more "Was there something else?"

"Well, I'm not sure. But I think there was someone else. Someone whom I haven't sensed before."

Chaussidier looked to Mathieu's concerned features and eventually nodded "We will find out. With time." His gaze snapped to the communications officer "Lourdes. Issue a bounty for that ship. Preference for the entire vessel. The datacores will be accepted too. Let us see if the locals can be of aid."

"Yes, Admiral" she said, before arranging for a bounty to be set with the logistics team.

"Mathieu. Head to the shuttle bay. I want you to be ready to deploy, should something happen."

"Yes, Admiral." The large Morellian bowed before departing from the bridge.

Before long, a general bounty would go out for those on the planet below. It appeared to be a simple scavenging mission. If all went according to plan, the intel would soon be in the Admiral's hands.

Alana was jostled from her sleep by the pinging of her bounty alert system. Nearly falling out of her chair, she realized that she had dozed off for the last few hours. Swearing to herself, she straightened, rubbing the sleep from her eyes, as she tried to remember where her bounty screen was. Finding it, she only half read what the mission was, and given it was a simple retreval mission, and she was only a few parsecs from the place, she was all too eager to accept it.

She tapped in the coordinates provided, and reached for the engagement lever on her ship, and watched as hyperspace burned into existence before her. Rising, she moved to begin equipping herself for the job ahead. Hopefully this wouldn’t take too long, she was waiting for that starship dealer to page her.

Gamorr made her miss Kintan. Both worlds had historically been influenced by the hutts and now that Insatious had given her more freedoms, she would try to extend his influence onto the worlds too. The Nikto on Kintan were - by far - the more pleasant ones to deal with. There, she could work the political system and with the aid of Cadere Cadere they had managed to accomplish some big steps in expanding Darth Insatious Darth Insatious sphere of influence. The Gamorreans were far less centralised and their people more focused on the glory of battle and strength. While the athlete had heard of the space battle that raged on in the skies, she had been too busy trying to gain the respect of a Gamorrean warlord think too much of it. While Insatious' fleet dealt with the Concordists that had attacked them, she was fulfilling their true purpose on the planet.

Upon leaving the Warlord's tent, the girl took a deep breath of comparatively fresh air before letting the heavy tip of the Gamorrean 'short-blade' fall onto the ground. She had managed to impress the alien and he had even given her a traditional Gamorrean weapon as a token of respect. Inside, she had carried it with a brave face but now that she was no longer within eyesight of the beastly Warlord, she could finally give her arms a rest.

Delphine was barely given a chance to recover when her holocom started beeping. Answering, she was greeted by a stressed naval officer who spoke rapidly. "We've been attacked"

"Thank you, I'm aware" Delphine offered a friendly smile, glad not to be addressed by rank for once. Urgency did bring out the best in people. Sometimes.

"The Thresher went down. It landed on Gamorr. We're tracking it..." the officer was cut off mid-sentence. An impressive feat, considering the speed at which he spoke.

"Keep me appraised, I'll look for a ride" Delphine quickly understood the urgency. The Mastodon transport carried a few computers with information that could jeopardise her plans for Gamorr. If the information fell into the wrong Gamorrean hands, she'd be in trouble and it was likely that her work so far would go to waste. With that, there was no time to lose. Although she was far from weak, it was far from easy to pick up the traditional short blade once more. With the weapon brought up to rest on her shoulder, she held on to it with both hands as she started running to the nearest landing pad.

It only took Alana a few moments to arm herself. She had always been about efficiency with her firepower, and as she clasped the Aegis device on her wrist, she strode into the cockpit, and caught the first glimpse of Gamorr. She smiled to herself, plucking her hat from its resting spot on the headrest, and gingerly sat behind the controls.

Taking the yoke, free hand resting on thruster control, she plotted her course, intending to start a high atmosphere orbit, and try to pin down where the hell the target site was. Pulling up a sensor sweep, Alana was fast at work putting her specifications in, knowing all too well how easily it was to botch this up. She was rather encouraged to hurry up though, because any dunce of a bounty hunter would take a job like this; and probably burning sky just to get here right now.

Running had never been a challenge for her but doing so carrying a heavy Gamorrean blade made it harder. Delphine was thanking her lucky stars as she made her way towards the landing pad. Hopefully, someone would be there to pick her up. It was far from guaranteed, however, seeing as the shuttle traffic on the rather primitive planet could be limited at times. Taking a short pause, the athlete sent a message to one of her officers to send a shuttle - just in case. It would take time, but having a backup plan was always preferred.

Fortunately, a backup plan was not necessary. As the landing pad came into her line of sight, a rugged ship could be seen on it. She saw a Cerean merchant about to finish loading his goods onto the vessel. It was a person whom she knew from before - for she had been on the planet for some time to work on growing Insatious' influence there. She would call out to him "Mr. Alpan, I need a ride!"

The merchant looked to her curiously as she approached from a distance. Their relationship had been good, but not familiar. The Imperials working for Insatious were good customers and that was the extent of their bonds. Still, good customers were valued in rural areas. "And I have a ship"

"I'll pay you" she said, trying to hide how out of breath she was. "75 credits. You just have to drop me off"

He chuckled with a wrinkled smile and friendly eyes "Make it 100 and we have a deal"

"Alright, we need to go now."

The merchant looked to her with a nod "I'll go get the engines started. Finish loading on the goods for me, will ya?"

"Right" she said and quickly got to work to complete his task. It was a slight hurdle - but it was as good as she could expect from randomly running towards a landing pad. In fact, she had been lucky, both in encountering someone with a ship at all and then also someone whom was friendly towards her.

It would not be long before the two were off. Delphine had forwarded the coordinates to Alpan upon entering the cockpit and with the ship ready to go, they didn't waste any time sitting around. The trip to the site of the crash would be a silent one but a fast one. The exact location was not easily visible from a distance. Normally, one might expect a smoke pillar - in this case, there was none. The reason as for why was still unknown to the young athlete but a possible reason she thought of was the onboard fire extinguishing safety measures. In this case, it might have been better if they didn't work - for she would prefer for the information to be destroyed over getting into enemy hands. Regardless, she would thank Alpan for the ride and exit the ship. As the merchant's own vessel left, the Sith slowly moved closer to the crash site to investigate.

With her coordinates in the system now, Alana began to coax her ship on to the crash site, mind on the money all the while. Her mind wandered, trying to work out the details that were coming across her console. She never minded smash and grabs like this, long as she wasn't expected to save people. She never like taking hostage jobs. Someone putting their lives in her hands? Who in their right mind would do that?
Sadly, she knew all too many people that were dumb enough, or just desperate enough to do just that. She tugged the brim of her hat, watching as the skies washed over the cockpit of her ship, and caught a glimpse of the burning wreck she was to be going into. The ship had smashed into a valley, collapsing part of a cliff side atop it, and leaving a flaming hunk of wreckage in it's wake.
It wasn't going to be simple it seemed. Her sensors picked up another ship, small but fast, not coming in from on high as she had. Perhaps, this was just a concerned local, or at worse, a scavenger that was looking to cash in. Either way, neither would pose her any harm; and as long as they didn't get in her way, nor would she. Circling overhead of the downed ship, she eyed a landing zone below, and began to start the landing cycle. Coming to a halt, she set the auto-pilot in motion, and rose to begin grabbing her travel gear; she'd need to make a bit of a climb to get into her mission site it seemed.
Well, least she'd get some cardio in before this was all over.

It was fortunate that Alpan's ship was smaller in size. It allowed them to squeeze into the valley and save her from the climb. Still, it was necessary for her to be careful as she approached - part of the cliff wall had crashed down on the ship and for all she knew, that might also have destabilised the rest of the nearby cliff. If lucky, the falling rocks would already have destroyed the information, ensuring that the average salvager wouldn't be able to acquire it. Still, if the Concordists got their hands on it, it was still possible that their technicians might be able to salvage something.

As she ventured closer towards the wreck, Delphine heard the sounds of a ship engine make their way down to her, echoing as the soundwaves bounced between the rocky walls. She looked up as the shadow the vessel cast briefly sheltered her from the sun.

She let out a sigh. Diplomatic meetings were good, much preferable to the alternative. But she would have to become better at not playing according to the rules. She had not brought a weapon of her own - it was against the customs of the Warlord she was visiting. After all, he was supposed to give her the traditional blade that she was struggling to carry around. But in this situation, it would have been extremely beneficial if she had brought her lightsabre too. It would have to be hidden and there would be a risk of discovery - but she'd still be better off than she was now.

Regardless, she would have to push on. All she needed to do was to wipe the databanks completely. The rest, she could leave for the scavengers who just arrived. As she continued on ahead, she considered the potential risks of being cornered in the vessel against a bunch of hostiles. While she would probably survive, a fight in such an environment would likely have her at a disadvantage. Delphine looked up once more, just before entering the ship. It turned out that the other ship only deployed one person. "Hey!" she called out "Will you make it down alright?"

Setting down on the ground, Alana sighed as she began to realize just how much of a pain this climbing was going to be. Placing her rifle over her shoulder, Alana began down the boarding ramp, musing to herself about needing to invest in a jetpack, when she caught a look at the wreckage, and as she began to set up her climbing equipment, it was then she realized someone down there was shouting at her. Sighing, she figured it had to be a member of that vessel she had spotted on the way in, and began to mull over what needed to be done with this straggler before the day was done. "Yea, I'll be just fine, why don't you stay right there?" She called back, spending a moment to ponder if she should have have just shot the woman from here and before moving on, before realizing that probably wasn't going to be the best call.
Seeing as how time was no longer a luxury, she decided to speed her descent along, however, Alana was no professional climber, and as she attempted a quick descent. It last a fair ten seconds, before she slipped, and the lack of a tether sent her tumbling down the cliff, with only the rapid deployment of her armor saving her from death.
Loud 'clangs' rang out as Alana tumbled, striking against the rocks, making the Echani wince from the impact, but she was relatively unharmed as she finally came to a very lacking halt at the bottom, and slowly rose in a daze. To her dismay, her weapons had scattered about from her tumble, and with a sudden panic, she attempted to collect them, still trying to ensure she didn't lose out on her contract. Hopefully this scavenger didn't come and try to fight her right now, because she was just not in the mood.

"Okaay!" Delphine hollered upon being heeded to hold her position. Looking up at the woman, she let out a sigh of relief - while she didn't quite understand why the stranger even got the idea that she would come up, it was clear that the climbing scavanger was openly hostile.

Doing just what she was asked, Delphine planted the traditional Gamorrean Warblade in the ground and rested a hand on its pommel as she watched the other make her way down. The woman in the hat appeared to suddenly having gotten into a hurry as the pace of her descent sped up dramatically "You don't have to rush for m-..." Before the sentence could be completed, Alana's climb turned into a somewhat controlled fall.

For a moment, Delphine considered staying passive. It was the safer route for the stranger could get seriously injured or perhaps even killed in the fall, making her a non-threat. But then, she seemed friendly and while the young athlete was a follower of a darker path, she was not one who took much joy in the suffering of others when it didn't carry any meaning to it. And so, she reached out through the force. While she was careful not to reveal her force sensitivity by doing something that would be all too obvious, she did try to manipulate the woman's fall into a far less severe one, thus probably preventing bad impacts and broken or shattered bones. Still, the landing that Alana did get was a hard one.

Quickly, she rushed forth to the woman as she slowly got back up on her feet. While the stranger's hat remained on her head, her weapons seemed to be scattered around her own crash site - it made it far safer to approach. "Let me help you" Delphine spoke with a light voice as she bowed her head down and brought the stranger's arm over her shoulder while wrapping her own arm around the other's back.

For a few moments, there would be silence. Delphine was doing what she could to help support the stranger while she balanced herself. Once Alana appeared to be steady enough, she would softly be brought towards a larger rock that she was fortunate not to have landed on. "If the guys ever ask you what it felt like when you fell from heaven, think back to this moment." she joked before nodding towards the stone "Come one, let's get you seated so I can check you for injuries."

To Alana's relief, she found the woman that was with her seemed less intent on taking advantage of the situation. Still a bit dazed from her fall, Alana took the offered help, relaxing a bit as she rubbed at her aching back. It was as the woman drew close, that Alana began to get that 'feeling' again, the tingle at the back of her mind. She frowned, wishing it wouldn't kick in right here and now. She just had a pretty lady coming up and trying to help her, why did the paranoia kick in now of all places? She managed a smile, seeing as how she had most of her gear, and the woman was already helping her over, Alana didn't try to resist.
She snickered at the woman's comment, feeling a bit more relaxed, but still curious as to why the woman was running around with a Gamorrean axe. This woman had to be strong to be considering using that as a weapon, but long as they seemed to be acting friendly, Alana wasn't gonna start being all up in arms. This woman was pretty cute after all. "Funny, feel like it'd be more apt to you. Usually you're supposed to be all pretty and what not when you fall from the sky, not scrapped and limping." She mused.
Easing over to the stone, Alana groaned as she felt her back hurting like all hell, as well as her right shoulder. Pressing the release on her armor, the body armor contracted back into it's storage unit, as the bounty hunter shed her ballistics vest for the stranger to get a better look at her injuries. "I'm Alana, sorry for dropping in. I didn't expect other people here and, well I'm used to people shooting first and helping me dead last. I'm usually better about not looking like a dope on first introductions." She set her hat aside, ensuring her gear was in a messy but somewhat organized pile. This was probably a terrible idea, but frankly, she was in no shape to keep fighting like this.

A bright smile appeared on Delphine's lips when she received the compliment. Ever since Insatious entered her life, compliments on anything other than performance had become rather rare. It was good to receive a different - more pure - expression of appreciation for once. "Yeah, I don't know" she said. The woman in the hat did not lack in prettiness but she was right about one thing "Maybe it wouldn't hurt with a bit more grace when you land" she offered a casual shrug as she maintained a friendly tone.

It was clear that there was pain. There was no need to be force sensitive in order to see that. It was good that Alana complied and eased over the rock. Never having been one to wear much armour, Delphine wasn't quite sure how to best help as the woman sheded her armour. Still, she did her best, timidly offering a hand where possible in order to reduce the strain that the scavenger would have to go through.

"I guess it's your lucky day. I'm Delphine. You would've been a pretty easy target, hanging up there at the cliff wall." Delphine paused, her gaze quickly shifted to the woman's injured before snapping back up to her eyes. She felt a great deal of sympathy for Alana as she realised why there was suddenly such a hurry for her to get down. "But don't worry, we'll get you patched up"

With cat-like steps, she moved around the woman to check her back properly. While the armour was mostly removed, the clothes still remained. It was always safer to scan visually first and so, she let out a low "May I?" If permission was granted, she would carefully pull up Alana's shirt by the back. A frown appeared on her face - the bruising looked ugly but fortunately, the armour and Del's intervention had most likely prevented anything too bad from happening. But she wanted to make sure "I'm going to apply pressure to your back, let me know if it hurts, okay?" she said before putting a gentle hand by the small of the stranger's back.

While checking for any serious injuries by touch, Del nodded to the hat-wearing woman's weapons "I'm guessing I was lucky too. With an arsenal like that - well, let's just say that I'm glad you didn't chose to unload it on me."

Once done, she allowed the shirt to fall back down onto Alana's back as she took a couple steps to stand by the injured woman's front. "It doesn't look like anything is too bad" she smiled "Probably wouldn't hurt to apply some bacta gel onto that bruising though. I'm guessing there's some in the wreckage over there. Mind if I head in there to check it out? I'd be back in a jiffy"

The woman's retort prompted a snicker from Alana. "I got alot of things, but grace sadly isn't one of them." She lamented, pondering for a moment why the hell everyone seemed to stumble into seemed out of her league. The new girl, Delphine seemed to be her name, was certainly one of the better encounters Alana had in the past few weeks. "Well, I'd say. Not many fall off a cliff and find a pretty face wanting to dot on them." She tried to relax, silence that alarm at the back of her head that something was off. It wasn't, and Alana knew it. Yea, it was a bit odd the woman was here and all, but this Delphine woman was trying to help her.
Stupid sixth sense acting up on her now. As Delphine moved behind her, Alana felt the woman's hands nearing her back, and she found herself tensing once again. "Go ahead, I ain't shy." Alana offered. As Delphine began to inspect her for injury, Alana only felt pain on her back, and only slightly at that. "No, it's nothing major just, sore. Could have been worse, yea?" Alana mused, and yet, that damn warning in her mind refused to stop. Maybe she was just tense. She glanced back at Delphine, smirking at the comment about her being shot at. "I don't shoot without a cause, but being frank, I wasn't sure if you were packing or not. In a way you are, with that axe over there. Hate to get in a tussle with you." She added, rolling her shoulder as she rose, finding Delphine moving before her.
The woman mentioning that she wished to go and get an aid kit from the ship made sense, but again, it was Alana's job to get those computer cores back. Patting her blaster pistol, Alana waved it off. "Hey, it's a crashed ship. I ain't broken in two, so don't think I'm bout to let you run in there all alone. We'll go together." Plucking her hat up, and patted it back onto her head, ready to go, but without her trusty rifle in hand.

"Yeah" she replied, pausing for a moment as she continued to check the woman for injuries. "Could've been much worse." A soft smile appeared across her features - it was good that the woman wore armour and her own intervention had probably done something good too.

Alana responded to Delphine's relief with something of an expression of relief herself. The athlete threw a glance at the Gamorrean weapon "Oh, that" she didn't try to hide the amusement in her voice. "Yeah, fear inducing, isn't it?" she spoke with lighthearted sarcasm. Any concerns the hat wearing woman felt would more than likely be dispelled once she saw Delphine move with it. Without enhancing her capacities with the force, the axe was far too heavy for her to use effectively in combat.

As if by instinct, the girl took a quick but timid step back when Alana brought her hand to her revolver. A careful smile formed as she saw how it was just to pat it before declaring her intents. While they had begun to build trust, it was still not a surprise that the other didn't let Delphine go into the ship on her own. Any scavenger worth their salt wouldn't trust a competitor to go in on their own and potentially take or hide the best loot. "Okay, yeah, of course"

Delphine quickly walked over to her traditional Gamorrean blade and picked it up. It was clearly that the weight of the weapon strained her. It would not be long before she rejoined Alana as they made their way to the nearby wreckage together.

Looking at it, one could see how the cockpit was completely destroyed, seemingly having crashed against both trees, rocks and vegetation. The rear-most part of the vessel was also badly damaged. Two - in comparison to the ship - massive blast marks could be seen there. One having punched a large hole through a boarding ramp, another having completely destroyed the engines. The main body of the relatively small ship was better preserved. Heavy burn marks could be found to the rear where the blaster marks were and the entirety of the bottom along with larger parts of the sides were heavily damaged from various impacts the ship had made during the crash landing.

"I think that hole should be big enough to enter through" Delphine nodded towards the hole by the back of the ship. Regardless of whether Alana agreed or had other ideas, the young ahlete would approach the hole to at least check it out. Regret instantly filled her being as she peered through the large hole. She dropped the weapon with a heavy thud and quickly brought her hands to her now gaping mouth. Her eyes started to water, for she observed a cabin filled with bodies. The ship had been carrying important information and was primarily staffed by officers of various ranks. Closest to the rear, there were two completely burned and unrecognisable bodies. It was clear that people had been trying to escape the fire by moving towards the front end of the cabin where more bodies could be found. Some at seemingly random locations in the middle of the cabin but most by the two side exit doors. The weapons racks that stood next to the doors were fully stocked but in complete disarray. The wall that separated the cabin from the cockpit at the front was mostly clad in large lockers. Delphine knew that the ones to the left was supposed to contain supplies while the ones to the right would contain mission related items. What was of more importance was the large computer terminal that stood by the wall to the left of the lockers. A body clad in an officer's uniform was slouched over the terminal. It was a horrible sight and the effects on her were far worse since she knew that these people had died for the sake of her mission on Gamorr.

"Well to some folk, absolutely, to me? I mean, I just see a girl who can man handle me, and-" She stopped herself, rubbing her brow and shrugging. "Depends on the sort really." She didn't need to go down that twisted road here. She had a job to do after all, and pretty women were....well they were a distraction. Damn it, first Neriya Dahle Neriya Dahle now this? She just had horrible luck. All work and no play made....well Alana actually was very efficient, which was part of the problem really.
A bit happy she wouldn't need to argue about going into the crash site, Alana wished to take her blaster rifle with her, but, she decided against it. After all, she really only needed her revolver for short ranged combat; she might have been hurt, but she wasn't a bad shot, not at this range at least. The ship was battered to hell from what the pair could see, and as Alana tested her legs, felt that her mobility wasn't too badly impaired.
As Delphine pointed out a method into the ship, Alana wanted to offer to go first, but as sadly beaten out in the process. She gave a quick glance around, only to stop in alarm when she heard the sound of that large Ax smacking the floor. Coming in behind, Alana was concerned the woman had been attacked, as Delphine's name died in her throat. "Hey are you-" She stopped, eyeing the carnage inside, then to the shocked expression of the woman. Frowning, Alana rubbed the side of her head, stepping near the woman, and eyeing her from the side, gently placing a hand on her shoulder for comfort. "Is...this your first time, seeing this?" She asked softly, her own grizzled self having seen this scene for perhaps the sixth or seventh time in her life, though it was not pleasant in the slightest.
Poor girl had probably never seen the body before. "Take a deep breath, just breath, alright? If you need, hug away. It's alright. This...takes getting used to, okay?" She assured, hand easing off her weapon, as she glanced around for any potential dangers; namely a fire hazard. It wasn't the best idea to just stand in the middle of a ship like this, but Alana figured that if this thing was going to blow, it would have done so by now. Besides, she needed to find the data she was sent for. But, not before ensuring her companion would be okay.

At first, she just seemed to hear Alana's voice. The concept of words and sentences didn't seem to be there - but her tone mattered. There was compassion and concern in it. Delphine would remember that. When Alana's hand touched her shoulder, the her words landed as well. Perhaps she hadn't been completely forthcoming with the woman thus far but she had not lied to her either. And she saw no reason to start lying now. "No" It was a short answer - and perhaps not an expected one. She was doing her best to keep her voice from cracking as she saw the bodies of her loyal and brave colleagues.

Delphine had been taught to be strong in the face of adversity. She would need to find strength this time too. Her chest rose as she followed Alana's advice. Then it sank as she let out a sigh while trying to push her sorrowful surface feelings away. The offer for a hug would not be taken but Delphine did raise her right hand to place it on top of Alana's hand that rested on her left shoulder. "Thank you" she said, now with a somewhat more stable voice than before. Although it was something that could be done alone, Alana's presence did help her regain her composure.

Delphine looked to her new friend. Sorrow was turning into determination - her eyes revealed as much. Wordlessly, her gaze shifted back towards the hole that they had been observing the carnage inside through. Her head had hung low in defeat but that was changing. There was a steady shift to the point where her chin was up high and her gaze straight at the opening. Lightly, she would squeeze Alana's hand before letting go. "Thank you" she said once more, whilst her right hand reached for the pommel of the Gamorrean axe. "Let's go"

Alana remained quiet, trying to be supportive. There was something about this that reminded her of her parents murder, though it was not as ghastly as this. Still, it had to be horrific for a scavenger. Standing there for a time, Alana tried to make sense of the contents of the ship, still not entirely sure what her end goal was going to look like. Feeling Del's hand over her own, she glanced to it, and nodded. Giving a soft squeeze. she held it there, until the young woman was ready to continue on her own. "My folks got cut up pretty bad when I was a little girl, not that different from this so, I get it." She said faintly, brushing back a stand of hair with her withdrawing hand.
With Del's blessing, Alana followed the woman from behind, hand resting on her blaster in case she needed to draw it. "So, between the two of us, I'm here for a job. I'm looking for a core, it's got some sensetive data on it that needs to be taken care of, so you see something like that, let me know." Alana said softly, stepping over one mangled corpse as they moved forward, very much not liking the tint of copper from the blood splatter within the confines of this vessel.

Parents. Once upon a time, the word would have evoked powerful emotions of longing and sorrow. She remembered that she used to adore her parents and that they generally had rather good relations. It all changed after Insatious captured her. It was then that her views of them had flipped. It was hard to explain why or how but she found it hard to relate to Alana's past trauma. Still, she would try to repay the kindness and openness with a sympathetic nod. Normally, she would try to offer a smile too - but it was hard when still recovering from seeing her dead subordinates.

Delphine entered the small transport ship through the hole in the rear - her past as a dancer and rigorous training under Insatious made it an easy task. Once inside, she turned to offer Alana a hand if she needed one. With an injury to her back, the young Sith wouldn't blame her new friend for needing a little bit of help. The weapons could probably sell for a tidy sum and the supplies in the large locker could be worth something too. She wouldn't mind to see those fall into the hands of Alana. In the short term, it would be a loss. But in return, she would hopefully be able to stay on good terms with Alana - it was a selfish endeavour to use her grandfather's resources to gain a friend. It was something she tried to justify to herself by thinking that it might be useful for them to have an easily persuaded scavenger at their disposal.

Then Alana spoke once more. Delphine's spirits fell. Maybe friendship was too costly.

"I know where it is" she said, her voice as serious as ever. Delphine turned to face the white-haired woman - they barely stood two metres apart. Her eyes were not filled with conflict or confusion, but rather lingering determination and sadness. Still, she showed no signs of being prepared for combat as the heavy Gamorrean blade still rested idly in her hand "The datacore is mine and I cannot let you have it. I'm sorry."

Keeping behind the girl, Alana was really only looking for any dangers, and what she had come to get. Given everyone was dead, she wasn’t worried about an attack, but she was more concerned about environmental dangers. She had her armor, but Del? Well a Vibro Ax was nice and all but, it couldn’t stop an explosion from washing over you.
That itch at the back of her head was still going on however, and it drove her rather nuts pondering on it. Del wasn’t a danger to her, so it had to be the ship, yet….if that was the case the sensation should have been much more severe. “Think we need to hurry along, my bad feeling has this ship pegged for a problem.” She muttered, coming to a stop as Del stated she knew where her target was.
Alana smiled, but that smile quickly faded. How did she know where that was? Well, she was a scavenger, so maybe she had worked on these things before. Before Alana could fully rationalize the idea however, Del’a eyes found hers, and the prospective she had on this woman shifted.
The ship wasn’t the danger. It was Del. Disappointed etched Alana’s face, tilting her head to the side as if the angle change would tilt the prospective enough to make sense of this; it didn’t. Hearing what the woman was here for, Alana glanced to the weapon, then Del, and realized this was gonna to be a stand off.
Damn it.
She kicked herself, setting her hands on her hips, gaze falling as Del’s words lingered in her ears. Was there really no other way out of this?
“Well, that’s a coincidence. Here I thought you were just a pretty face looking for a cash in, but now, you’re ready to run me through ain’t ya?” She asked, her eyes falling back on the woman, biting the inside of her lip. “I don’t take kindly to threats, so, if you’re willing, maybe we can talk this out like sensible folk so no one has to die?”
In truth, she knew that in these conditions the favor went to Delphine. And Alana wasn’t about to die for some salvaging op. Still, she wanted to get paid, but….she wasn’t going to kill someone to do that. Least, not this someone. She was too young. That just didn’t sit right with her one bit.

A mere glance at her weapon was enough to cause a wave of concern to wash over the Sith's mind. Alana was by all accounts not ready for a sudden attack - maybe it would have been the best option for securing the Gamorrean operations. Now, Delphine looked at the prospect of having to fight the woman. The force would have to play a deciding role in such an encounter because if she solely focused on their armaments, it was clear who had the upper hand. Instead of turning to violence, however, Alana chose to speak.

Deep down, it made the young Athlete feel a sense of relief - but it was all covered in anxiousness and tension of what the discussion might lead to or entail. When Alana completed her sentence, Delphine quickly retorted "No!" while shaking her head vehemently. While she was technically ready to run the woman through, it was not at all her desired outcome. An eager nod was produced when the offer of talking it out was extended to her.

A few brief moments of silence passed. Ideas of what and how to argue flooded her mind until she eventually spoke "So" she paused for a little bit "This ship, it belongs to me, and so does the data core." the girl raised her free arm to point to the ship in general. She then swallowed hard "These people... they worked for me. And died..." it was clear that it was hard for her to say the next part but it eventually came "...died for me."

Although she was upset, Delphine did her very best to at least look somewhat dignified. "It's not like I have a receipt or anything, but the data core is mine. It would be wrong for you to take it from me."

For a moment, Alana nearly thought of drawing her blaster. But decided against it. Thankfully, Delphine was willing to talk. Thought as the woman explained her story, Alana found more questions than answers coming to her mind. She was freaky perplexed about several things in particular, but waited for the woman to finish.
This was her ship? Her people? She was young, and clearly not a scavenger, so it made the question come to her mind. Who the hell was this girl? She was clearly emotional right now, distraught over seeing this state of her crew and vessel, which Alana felt called for a calmer approach if nothing else. “I can understand that entirely. If this is your ship as you say, then yes, that would be wrong. However, given this ship is now a crash, and has landed upon this planet, investigations and prying into the ship itself could be handled by the government, unless you can claim to own the area around a crash site. So, longer we talk the worse this might be for both of us.” Sighing, Alana rubbed her brow. “I’m supposed to get this data core one way or another, and I…really need the credits for this. But I don’t want to hurt you to do that.” She removed her hat, and held it against her leg. “Maybe you can relate, but, I really don’t like what I do Delphine. Especially things like this. Is it possible I disable the data core and take it back, just tell them it got broken in the crash? Would that be enough?” Sue tried to be reasonable, she really didn’t want to walk out of this job.
But she couldn’t find it in herself to shoot this girl. Threat or not. There was too much of herself in her.
