GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Defilers or Void Trotters
  • Affiliation: Intrepid Inc
  • Classification: Infantry
  • Description: Defilers are in essence meant to be expendable, They are known to be foolhardy and rash but are loyal and grounded in their goals. Every unit is known for its clunky yet flexible armor and its horrid metal gas mask, Around others, the troops are largely aggressive and are known to be quick-tempered
COMBAT INFORMATION:
  • Unit Size: Medium
    • 24 members in each unit
  • Unit Availability: Common
  • Unit Experience: Trained
    • Hand to hand combat training
    • Good Marksman
    • Able to rationalize quickly
  • Equipment: 1x Intrepid Class - Long Bolt rifle, 3x Thermal Detonator, 1x Pack of medical supplies/ rations, 1x Holocomuicator
    • Units that specialize in dealing with heavily armored vehicles will be equipped with rocket launchers
    • Officers and other command units will sometimes be equipped with small Immolation shield generators (to protect themselves or to give orders safely) They don't cover an extensive area and only reach out five meters around the target
  • Combat Function: Defilers are Assualt units, they charge into combat situations and engage the enemy either with or without support, Generally they will use numbers to their advantage and will attempt to surround their enemy so they can move in for the kill. When supported by other units these soldiers become increasingly effective as they use their pure destructive capacity to overwhelm and push through an enemy
Strengths:
  • Well Equipped
  • Able to think for themselves and operate independently to a small extent
  • Loyal to their faction and leader
Weaknesses:
  • Their armor offers limited visibility
  • Comm systems are often unprotected leaving anyone knowledgeable with the ability to hack them
  • Only effective in numbers meaning three or so Defilers are not much of a threat
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
For years Ravenous and Intrepid Inc has been experimenting with cybernetic implants that would alter a person's mind and thinking patterns significantly. As usual Intrepid's home base of Kriselist became the prime target for these experiments as Ravenous and his ilk began kidnapping people off the streets and using them as the basis for more invasive trials. After many botched tests runs Intrepid finally came out with an implant that would alter the emotions of passion and fidelity in an individual allowing them to be shifted towards a particular ideal or motive. Ravenous began employing the surgery almost immediately with many individuals across many worlds having been kidnapped and warped until they were ready to serve Intrepid inc.

Ok. Everything does look good, but one thing that probably needs more specifications is the shield generator. Even though you describe it as small here, it would be better to give these smaller shields an upper limit, just to ensure everyone understands what it does.
