SETTING INFORMATION

Nexus Name: Defiled Cathedral Ruins

Nexus Alignment: Dark

Location: Khar Shian (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Khar_Shian)

Affiliation: The Sith Empire. (http://starwarsrp.net/forum/3870-the-sith-empire/)

Size: Small

Accessibility: Located on a plateau under icy mountains, isolated and reachable, but as nothing but the taint of the Dark Side resides there, and the surface is only ruins, one can easily get there by foot or and there is plenty of space to land. No one but The Amalgam is aware of its exact location.

Description: A broken down fortress like structure in the shadow of Khar Shian's Icy Mountains, the remains of its perimeter are surrounded by stone and wrought iron barriers. The Insides are a hollow skeleton, smeared with dried blood streaks. But the underneath is where The Amalgam truly resides, in the catacombs.

NEXUS EFFECTS

Visitors who are light sided, will feel an overwhelming sense of dark pollution slowly but gradually eating away at their will. Their connection to the light may be moderately disrupted if they are not strong enough to resist. Dark Side Adepts who are not the Amalgam feel slightly invigorated, able to concentrate Dark Abilities slightly better. The Amalgam's strength in the Dark Side is significantly increased here, to the point she has the ability to naturally use Dark Healing, though its effects will vanish should she leave the ruins. As a result of the Dark Healing effect the Nexus enables, This is the only location the Amalgam's body will not decay, even if she has not used Life Draining in a while.

POINTS OF INTEREST

Meditation Area
Catacombes_De_Paris.jpg

Renovated from the catacombs underneath the Cathedral, this singular chamber full of skeletons is where The Amalgam retreats to reconnect with and maintain her Connection to the Darkness. The disruption effect to Light adepts is greatest here., as well as the invigorating feeling to Dark Adepts.

Training Chamber
CATACOMBE_DI_S._GENNARO_VESIBOLO_SUPERIORE.jpg

Where The Amalgam trains in lightsaber and Force combat. The vast stone room contains traces of her anger and rage everywhere

Ritual Chamber
Avicenna_Mausoleum_interior.jpg

Where The Amalgam conducts her essence Transfer Ritual and where she creates Sith Spawn in general. The room is absolutely tainted with the Darkness and the Amalgam's Dark Healing effect is strongest here The remains of the previous master of the ruins is interred in the center.

Dungeon
Stripped_out_Wards.jpg

Few unfortunate souls who find themselves here would be able to escape. The long, shadowy dungeon is filled with cells full of ancient mechanical restraints. The Amalgam occasionally lets a captured prisoner loose, in order to stalk and eventually drive them insane

Bed Chamber:

The Amalgam's true home in the ruins, with a pent house like set up. Contains An Armory, a Shower, a kitchen and Library. A luxurious, if gloomy, home.

Rating: None.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
These ancient, corrupted ruins served as the Amalgam's home for over three centuries. It is her private refuge on an icy and lifeless world, and the place where she was instructed in the ways of the Dark Side by a vicious and evil witch of the Dark Side. The nexus was accumulated over the centuries by a callous and particularly horrid cycle of apprentice succeeding Master that occured dozens, perhaps over a hundred times on those grounds: At the end, of apprenticeship, the Master would be violently overthrown, and would suffer a horrific torment by having all their knowledge, wisdom, and perception of the Dark Side violently torn out of their head by their successor, who would be so overwhelmed by the breadth of knowledge that they would quickly become just like their predecessors, developing a nigh-unshakeable devotion to the Dark Side, backed by considerable knowledge of its gifts, and bent on advancing its aims.

The ruins were abandoned for over two Decades before The Amalgam finally emerged from hibernation, having finally overpowered the False Persona that had dominated her body. She emerged from hibernation in her bedchambers, and quickly set about reconsecrating and reawakening the Nexus of the Cathedral Ruins to serve as her home once more, stalking and sacrificing an unlucky team of explorers who had found themselves here looking for Artifacts. The ruins are her one true refuge, capable of sustaining her in a way other locations simply cannot. Its destruction would be an incalculable loss to her.

Make sure this is fixed, since I think you'd like that before I approve this submission.

SECURITY
The Amalgam has no security deterrents except herself.
I'm aware this has no security systems but I still need you to add the rating itself. (In this case: None)

First off, I'm going to need links to the pages those images appear on, not just links to the images directly. As a for instance for the first image you have linked, you could link to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catacombs_of_Paris

More importantly however, as a Force Nexus this is a Restricted Material in codex. As per codex rules:

Force Nexus: Codex submissions that include a Force Nexus will require a Restricted Mission to be completed. Write a thread in a convincing manner detailing the quest for, construction of, or discovery of the Force Nexus in question. There is no set post count, however a complete story should be told. Submissions containing extraordinarily strong Nexuses or providing substantial benefits may warrant a judge requesting additional effort or edits made to the submission to adhere to forum standards and balancing for fair play.
So I'll need a thread written to allow this.

By thread, do you mean one where she is rediscovering the place, or one that shows the origin, or something else entirely. It will be my first time really attempting such and I just want to be certain I understand what you are asking so I do not mess it up.

Ohhhhhh...okay, [member="Irajah Ven"]. We should take this out of submissions then until I am ready to write the thread.

By the way, Would I be allowed to do this thread entirely from the perspective of another character oh must it be entirely from my onw character's perspective, because I want to do the thread your asking for as a sort of survival-horror scenario.

As long as it follows the above guidelines you can make it anything you would like.

I will archive this thread for now. PM me, [member="Allyson Locke"] or [member="Zeradias Mant"] when you are ready.
