The chill of Despair: This one of a kind Sonic Hold Out Blaster does extreme Sonic damage. Strange technology within the blaster, an innovation of Karlie's ancestors alters the frequency of the bolt to not only cause severe sonic damage, but intense cryo damage as well. The cryonic effects are so severe even Alchemized materials are in danger of being damaged.

DESCRIPTION
The Chill-Shriek is the last of its kind. Once a common sidearm of Karlie's ancestors in their ancient days as Castagne's patrons due to having many enemies in the Castagne Underworld over their zealous persecution of criminals as members of the Jedi and as priests of Berkana. As the Deepgaze's gradually died off in the centuries that followed and only Rigor remained, these pistols gradually broke down or fell into the hands of private collectors. It is telling Rigor kept this old remnant of her past in spite of everything. Vera suspects Rigor had originally intended to pass the weapon onto her when she thought Karlie had not inherited the curse Rigor did--the box it was found in was gift-wrapped, and there is no one else Vera could conceive of that would be worth parting with such a personal item for.
