A smile was all that she provided once all was said and done, and a gentle hand settled upon the girl's shoulder. It would likely take some time to truly earn the girl's trust, for her to understand the path she was being set upon, but in the meantime the least she could do was provide her with some of the necessities, comfort, and companionship.
Kipo seemed to enjoy this room, and so as she moved back from the child she outstretched the hand which held the monkey and allowed him to settle back upon the bed, happily ooing to himself at the chance to explore again. Truthfully he was probably just aching to find someplace to nap.
"Keep the salve, I have more of it, apply it whenever you feel the need to itch and soon the bites will be gone entirely. For now, sweet child, rest. There is nothing for you to worry about. We shall reach Aurum in a week or so, you are free to explore the ship at your own leisure, there are some games in the lounge that we can play when you're feeling up to it."
With that Jyn turned to leave, taking the tray and its contents with her.
"There are clothes in the dresser that should fit you, you are free to utilize them and the refresher as you wish."
Then she left, to clean up the remnants of dinner and ensure that the ship was on course. Her mission here had been a success, and there had even been an added bonus. Truly the Force worked in mysterious ways.
