Corp Info:

Corp Name: Decentralised Equipment and Arms Dispersal (DEAD)

Headquarters: Coruscant

Location: Primarily Coruscant but some goods are shipped off-world

Operations: Untraceable Weapons and Equipment/Civilian use equipment

Products: Weaponry, Spice, Equipment and Apparel, Cybernetics

Description:

DEAD operates on Coruscant through proxy and legal loophole as it is essentially a black market for weaponry, armour and various other items. Orex Mauda, the Founder and 'CEO' of DEAD operates a much more legal and less arms-involved business that sells to civilians and maintains a front of innocence. Underneath this, Orex supplies various criminal and civilian cells across Coruscant with very much Illegal equipment that is manufactured by hidden facilities throughout the lower levels who maintain this status through bribery and intimidation of the Lower Level Police divisions.

Through Decentralisation, stock is moved through cells that act as proxy for Mauda. This Proxy chain is quickly obscured after stock is placed under the authority of the arms cells. Since almost all stock is effectively under the control of others, goods tend to be shipped off-world to planets like Tatooine, Corellia, Jakku and other mostly criminal backwater planets.

Rationale:

Orex Mauda was an entrepreneur from an early age. Growing up in the lower levels he scavenged left-overs from street fights and various conflicts, only to sell them on to others. After killing his slavers and leaving the lower levels, Orex invested in business and soon resumed his ventures in a similar manner. Only this business was a bit more sophisticated. Orex began communicating with suppliers in the lower levels and soon formed a network of buying and supplying.
