Dear Mrrew

Mrrew's hand snapped out just in time to catch the Corusca gem ring. The symbol looked familiar. He remembered hearing that there was a Rebel Alliance before the one he had taken part in- one influencial in the galaxy. And he'd seen this ring, or at least one like it. He'd been at an auction that had one- he remembered that he'd almost bid on it, but decided against it... when [member="Jorus Merrill"] bid a starship for it. Gun runs? He had literally just left the Rebel Alliance to remove himself from illegal activities... It was bad for buisness. However, he was sure Jorus wouldn't just show up randomly to people offering things like this. He had a reason. That, combined with the fact that he showed up disquised, piqued his interest. However, it would be bad to state that here. Recording devices, cameras. Mrrew glanced at the ring in his hand, careful to conceal it partially with his fingers in the event of cameras, before looking back up to Jorus questioningly. He kept his voice low- which was easy since it usually came out as more of a growl then anything. "Elaborate?"

(Had to google what a gun run was, lol)

He passed the immense cat a datapad, its font size set very small indeed in case of prying eyes. A hunter would have no problem reading it.

120 crates of Hekler'Kok merchandise for delivery to distributor warehouse. 6424 Nuru Way, New Bre'kaan, Sharb, Chiss Space, Republic. Sharb is located on the Path of the Houses, the major Chiss hyperlane. If the One Sith keep expanding from Csilla in the direction they've been going, Sharb is directly in their path, almost unavoidable. Republic efforts have proven ineffective. Merchandise is currently located in Docking Bay 39F, Tion Trade Nexus, labelled as high-end waste reclamators. Press 'HARD ERASE' once committed to memory.

"Is this something you can arrange?" he said neutrally.

Mrrew read the datapad twice, before quickly tapping the 'Hard Erase' option. The only thing Mrrew dind't understand was why was he being confronted with this? It sounded much like a job for a smuggler, or a mercenary- not a big game hunter. Why? He was confused, sure, but that only made him more curious. The smart thing probably would've been to just leave and not get involved in more illegal activities. So of course he didn't do that.

"Why?" He still kept his voice low. If there was good reason, or really any reason, he was sure he could make this happen. He didn';t particularly care for the One Sith. Sure many of his best cusomters were from there, so he didn't announce that, but that didn't mean he approved of genocide. He could, and almost already was willing to, figure out how to make this happen. But first he needed to know what [member="Jorus Merrill"] was planning.

"Because these days, honest folks have to build their fences out of steel. I've got no use for this business in the good times, but there's folks out there that need a strong fence. When it comes time to build that fence for'em..." He shrugged under the armor. "Someone like me gets the wrong kind of attention. Someone like you, not so much. Word is you've got friends everywhere; ain't a sector around that doesn't like the Guild's business."

Someone like him? He never looked much into [member="Jorus Merrill"], but he assumed he was just an explorer... Then again, if he was associated with the original recent Rebel Alliance... His request made sense- who would expect Mrrew to be smuggling weaponry? Anyone who knew he was associated with the Rebel Alliance might. And if he was caught, that could be the end of the Guild.

"It's dangerous" Mrrew's eyes raised to Jorus' visor, waiting for his response before choosing what to do.

...True. Mrrew grinned briefly. "Alright."

[member="Jorus Merrill"]

(*Has the feeling Rave put him up to this to see if Mrrew is really done with Rebel Alliance type things*)

Jorus nodded. "And not a word to my...family. This isn't exactly a place I'm supposed to be." He glanced up at the solar ionization cannons and tractor/pressor beams that defended the bay. "Those guns'll ignore shields. Not something I'm terribly comfortable with.

"Anyway. You have the coordinates, the bay number, and the manifest info. Hope that cargo doesn't give you too much trouble."

He climbed into the E-25 and began running through preflight.

"Welcome to the real world."

OOC/ I'm tempted to just let you wonder, but nope. Jorus is pulling a fast one in his sister's shadow again.

Not a word to his family? Mrrew blinked. [member="Jorus Merrill"]. Rave Merrill. ... Why did he only just realize that? The Togorian frowned at Jorus while he climbed into the ship, before giving a quick nod. Right. Get the cargo, and get the feth out of there before he was caught and the Guild collapsed. Why was he doing this again? Mrrew sighed as he left the docking bay, heading towards where he'd find the cargo.

(Phew. :p)

A galactic standard week later, Mrrew's freighter docked in the same hangar bay as before, in order to return the papers to [member="Rave Merrill"]. He'd delivered the shipment Jorus requested days before- without anything eventful happening... Hopefully he got away with it, so to speak. H=Meanwhile, he'd almost forgotten about his deal with Rave. He had read the papers again, made sure once again that everything would turn out in his favor, before signing. This would be fantastic for the Guild when it was all finished. Next step was to move the Guild headquarters to the space he'd bought on the Nexus... He'd been meaning too... Mrrew shrugged. First things were first; get the papers to Rave, then he coudl worry about moving headquarters. Or procrastinate some more. He was good at that too.
