The vessel was all sharp curves and sleek ridges. It moved like an arrow through the darkening sky of Gratos, the stealth systems aboard helping to shroud it from the rudimentary scanners often used by the local Graug population. It was undetected, be it via ethereal or more conventional means, until it came within local atmosphere of the ruling citadel.
When the ground control asked as to whom was en route, the response had come via a wave of telekinetic energy that left their necks hanging in such ways that no head was meant to turn. As such, the vessel went more or less uncontested until it came to land. A reactionary security team came to meet the intruders with weapons at the ready. A few seconds of chaos later, and nothing remained of them save for smoking limbs and eviscerated bodies.
Accompanied by his Graug companion, Shlurk, Darth Mephirium, self-proclaimed Dark Lord of the Sith and the former Dark Lord's killer, strode down the walkway toward the citadel. Shlurk moved at his side, the hulking brute twirling his double-bladed saberstaff with anticipation.
"It has been some time since we have returned here, Grax'thor," the aging Graug hissed. Mephirium offered his old friend a smile. "Yes, it has. Given the welcome we've received, I'm afraid the rumors may prove to be true."
"If they are, then you will put an end to him a second time and reclaim the titles." Shlurk offered, the words spilling awkwardly from his reptilian lips.
Mephirium waved a hand at his oldest and closest friend. "That isn't what I have in mind. If my father's taken possession of a new body, then I mean to offer him a place at my side. No doubt he would prove to be a valuable constituent."
Shlurk made a noise of derision. "He will not agree to that."
"We shall see."
