Too many characters, I have
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Planet Name: Daxam II
  • Demonym: Azuli
  • Region: Outer Rim
  • System Name: Daxam
  • System Features: The Second Planet of the Daxam Binary Star System, Daxam II is tucked away, hidden from most visitors as it is stuck dead center in the system's asteroid belt, the result of the binary star's flucuating gravity causing the lengthy asteroid belt to stretch into Daxxon II's orbital path. It's sisters, Daxam I, Daxam III and Daxam IV, all suffer from the gravity issue, but only Daxam II is caught in the belt. It's days are of 36 hour length, while it's nights only last 10 hours, due to the binary sun system.
  • Location:
    Daxam_IV.PNG
  • Major Imports: N/A
  • Major Exports: N/A
  • Unexploited Resources: The planet is littered with unexploited material, as the people are tribal in nature, and technologically still primitive. Songsteel veins line the mountains on the western continent, while other metals lurk deep within the unexplored jungles of the planet. The trees themselves are made of a metal-strength wood that is strong enough to resist blaster fire.
GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
  • Gravity: 1.3 Standard
  • Climate: Tropical, the equatorial zone stretching to the 55 degree point of the planet, while subtropical zones reach the 65 degree mark. Glaciers cap the poles with massive swamps circling the area between subtropical and polar.
  • Primary Terrain: Rainforest and large oceans.
  • Atmosphere: Type I
LOCATION INFORMATION
  • Capital City: N/A
  • Planetary Features: Wild Planet.
  • Major Locations: Abandoned Rebel Cell Base. Formerly the base of Jonyna Si and her rebel crew, the base was built out of a Munificent-class star frigate that crashed into the planet surface during the Clone Wars, the crew had salvaged it and brought it's remnants into a large cave system on the eastern continent, building out a base of operations for the group around 3 BBY.
  • Force Nexus (Optional): N/A

POPULATION
  • Native Species: Azuli. Flightless Avian-Bipedal Tribals who use their large clawed wings to navigate the jungle.
  • Immigrated Species: N/A
  • Population: Moderate
  • Demographics: Exclusively Azuli
  • Primary Languages: Azuli (Bird Speak)
  • Culture: Tribal. The Azuli are a primitive species that have a hunter-gatherer society that has not progressed for millenia due to the ineffective soil of the jungle, and inability for the Azuli to clear the jungle for farming.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Small, local governments on the tribal side. While the concept of 'states' has not been established, some tribes within the vast jungles have grown to the point of creating city states that function as local governments. The Azuli also find nature to be sacred, believing the jungle itself to be their god, Gaya.
  • Affiliation: N/A
  • Wealth: Poor. The Azuli have no formal currency, as their are a barter based society.
  • Stability: Mostly Stable. While inter-tribe wars do happen, they are sparse as fighting in the jungle is a complicated affair and most Azuli leaders see the jungle as still a dangerous, untamed place where your own survival is paramount over the squabbles of the tribes. As prey creatures, the Azuli are much more open to inter-species diplomacy.
  • Freedom & Oppression: While the Azuli do not have systematic slavery, as it is a barter based society the act of offering free labor in exchange for goods is a common one, and even as a way to get out of punishment is a common practice. Within larger city states, the class divide only exists between those unable to barter, at which point they are considered 'helpless', and are left to the jungle to sort out. Tribal leaders are chosen often by who is able to offer the most to the tribe, and until they can no longer do so, at which point they are voted out by the other tribal leaders. And while each tribe has a different amount of tribal leaders, each seems to have at least 3.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: N/A
  • Technology: Incredibly Primitive. The Azuli have reached the equivalent of the Bronze Age, forging being considered a ritualistic art that is passed down generationally in tribal families.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Left untouched by the larger galaxy for most of it's history, Daxam II only gained relevance in the larger galactic stage when a Munificent-class star frigate crashed into it's surface, fleeing from a chance battle over Pamarthe between a Clone Victory-Class Star Destroyer escorting a clone army towards Pantora. The Frigate, in transit, was battered by the Star Destroyer, retreating blindly to the next system it could find, where it crashed into the large asteroid belt, finally crashing into the planet, leaving the droids inside inactive, while the Azuli that inhabited the planet thinking it to be a demon from the sky, leaving the surrounding area uninhabited until the era of the Galactic Civil War, when rebel forces used the asteroid belt as a staging group, the navigation required leading it to Imperial Forces avoiding it on principle. The crew of the Angel, captained by Jonyna Si, used the planet itself as a base after being recommended it by then Captain Ackbar as a base for a new rebel cell.

When the Angel's crew went missing after a trip to a icy planet north of the Core Planets, the base fell into obscurity, as did the planet itself...

Interesting submission that you have here! It's pretty solid and I always love to see more planets come up, however there are a couple of fairly minor things that I will need to see addressed before I can approve this.

Mainly the Planet Name listed in the form doesn't match the rest of the submission. It's Daxxon II there but referred to as Daxam II everywhere else without any mention of a name change so I'm assuming it's a simple typo and thus easily fixed.

The other areas I'd like to see addressed are in Government and Economy. While there may be no formal government, I'm sure the inhabitants of the world still have their own governments that can be mentioned or at least referenced in the Government section. Are they all tribal families or do they exist in more clan-like settlements? Perhaps even in some sort of city state system given their Bronze Age technology level? Stability and Freedom & Oppression are much the same. Constant wars or peaceful coexistence are worth noting to better give context to the society of the planet, and how loose or orderly the tribes are can also play a significant factor of a more free society or one dominated by tribal elders or specific families that only listen and respect themselves.

Not that big of changes to make but I do believe that they are essential before I can approve this. I look forward to seeing what you come up with! Just tag me here whenever you have the edits done.
