Throughout his long naval career, Marlon Sularen had observed the effectiveness of various elite starfighter squadrons that he had encountered, such as the Galactic Alliance's infamous Revenant Squadron. The idea of a flagship elite starfighter squadron for an entire Starfighter Corps had always been a topic of interest for Sularen, and given how effective it could be for naval power projection, it wouldn't be long before he tried to replicate the success of Revenant Squadron during his time in the Dark Empire and the Imperial Confederation. However, the Dark Empire's Shadow Squadron and the Confederation's Titan Squadron both proved to be ineffective, bringing Sularen back to the drawing board.

With the formation of the Final Dawn, the Supreme Commander now had the perfect opportunity to revisit the concept of a flagship elite starfighter squadron, ultimately leading to the creation of Judgement Squadron. With his best pilot, Wilhelm Vonreg at the helm, Judgement Squadron would be the Final Dawn's flagship elite starfighter squadron, whose effectiveness would be tested in Sularen's upcoming campaign against the Wild Space Rebellion.

Unfortunately for Sularen, out of all the countless pilots within the Final Dawn, only two met the necessary qualifications to serve in Judgement Squadron, which would only complicate matters for his new project. Still, he had to move forward with his plans, and thus he had arranged for the two pilots to come to the Imperial Naval Academy on Mon Cala to begin their orientation and get the three pilots of Judgement Squadron familiar with each other. Hopefully, he'd still be able to make his concept work even if it would be operating with only 25% of its total intended manpower.

Thus, the Supreme Commander would be left standing within one of the Naval Academy's hangars, with Baron Wilhelm Vonreg Wilhelm Vonreg standing right next to him as they watched the shuttle carrying the first two pilots of Judgement Squadron: Priesse Namada and Senriel Elysi, make landfall. At the very least, their orientation would be short given their small numbers, so it wouldn't be long until the Supreme Commander himself would be able to test their effectiveness and cohesion in the heat of battle.

The scream of her twin ion engines faded into a controlled whine as Senriel Elysi guided her TIE Interceptor through the final approach corridor. The angular fighter descended with practiced precision, never wavering from the academy's assigned glide path. To most pilots it was a landing.

To an Echani, it was simply another dance.

Her gloved hands made only the smallest corrections, each movement answered by the starfighter with graceful obedience. Engine output. Repulsors. Airbrakes. Every system flowed into the next as though the machine understood the rhythm she expected of it. Wheels kissed the durasteel deck with barely a whisper before the Interceptor rolled to its assigned berth.

Perfect.

The canopy hissed open. Senriel climbed from the cockpit, lifting her pristine white helmet beneath one arm while her other hand reached almost absentmindedly to loosen the collar of her flight suit. Ground crew hurried around the Interceptor, but she spared them only a polite nod before giving the fighter one last appraising glance. They would inspect the machinery.

She would remember the feeling.

Boots echoed across the immaculate hangar floor of the Flugplatz Naval Academy as she made her way through the cavernous facility. Cadets paused their conversations as the unmistakable Echani passed—tall, poised, white-haired, every stride carrying the effortless balance of someone who viewed movement as language. She ignored the attention with practiced ease.

Orders had been concise. Report to Hangar Seven. Judgement Squadron orientation.

She rounded the final corner to find the waiting group already assembled. Supreme Commander Marlon Sularen stood with the unmistakable bearing of absolute authority, while beside him was the legendary Baron Wilhelm Vonreg.

Senriel stopped several paces away and came smartly to attention.

"Lieutenant Senriel Elysi," she announced evenly, blue-gray eyes moving from Sularen to Vonreg. "Reporting as ordered." Helmet tucked beneath her arm, posture flawless, she waited in disciplined silence for whatever came next. After all, every squadron had to learn its rhythm before it could dance.
