Faction Dawn of a New Era [TSE]

Fortress Imperious, Concordia

Victory was sweet, and that taste now ran through the people of the Sith Empire once again: with the Mandalorian attempt to take Moridinae repelled and Imperial rule of the system now cemented, the next steps of the occupation had begun. And they at least, not initially so, were nonviolent. Shockingly enough considering the...reputation...it’s Governor had quickly been making for herself.

No, things were far simpler. It was time for something calm, the calm before the coming storm. An invitation to Concordia was sent out to, truthfully, any and all within the Empire: a great gathering at the rather inhospitable (to say the least) Fortress Imperious, a gathering orchestrated by Lirka herself, after a rather sudden disappearance from wider affairs following the victory on Moridinae. And her influence showed, Moridinae and Concordia still bore the scars of battle, broken husks of warships of warships still hung in orbit of the worlds: waiting to be stripped down for their raw materials, many of the Legionnaire corpses were being ferried off to their respective homeworlds, and the gathering itself was given the rather, bizzare, location of being in a cleared out hangar on the giant military base. Giving a full, and somewhat chilly, view of the wild arctic of Concordia.

It showed much of Lirka’s bizarre tastes, alien tapestries hanging from the walls as exotic art pieces alongside massive banners baring the emblem of the Sith, cantinas that seemed more in place in the roudy Underworld clubs played and drinks were handed out liberally. A duality of nature between a Governor who had spent some time and politics, and infinitely more as Underworld scum. And just to capitalize on the bizarreness of the whole accommodation was the vague silhouette of multiple Destroyers positioning themselves between Concordia, only those within the upper echelons of Imperial command knowing their true purpose.

For while this was a time to honor the fallen defenders of Moridinae, and reap the sweet taste of victory. A darker purpose was placed as well: the announcement to the wider Empire of the future of Moridinae and its people, the announcement of the utter eradication of all those who had been deemed disloyal in the system. A time to reap the sweet tastes of victory, and unknowingly, reap the taste of vicious and cruel revenge.

But for now, such things remained hidden: this was merely a time to “enjoy” (or as close to enjoy as one could get) the company of other Imperials under the bizarre art projects of the Governor and the mighty emblem of the Sith: with of course, more booze than any human could ever need, and a few...less than legal looking...Cantina Bands.
