Hair: N/A/Lekku
Complexion: Light Blue
Tattoos:
• N/A
Scars:
• Surgical scars stray across the nape of his neck - a failed attempt to separate the dying brothers. The haphazard process led to various, deep and ragged scars of torn stitching and awkward cuts dancing across the length of Daska's back; for it was only his survival that was prized, until his sibling's inert ability was revealed in the primitive, violent, and painful process. The resulting healing was done with fair grace, though the wounds of their past torment haunts them still - and is desperately covered, lest anyone question the nature of their past, or their present relationship.
• Due to the initially debilitating nature of their conjoined deformity, various malformed and warped joints, tendons, limbs, and ilk have been removed during a long, torturous process, and replaced by cybernetic implants and augments. This includes Daska's right arm, where his parasitical brother's misshapen body once bloomed, intertwining the muscle with vital organs and incompletely produced bone; Hu's unformed, amorphous voice box; Daska's blind left eye; the precious urinary and respiratory systems, reinforced through bio-engineered synthetics; the misshapen lekku; and the genitalia, in addition to minor augments to function, so the pair might remain operable to average standards.
• Where the body expelled bulbous form, in order to maintain a more humanoid appearance beneath the mask, vast hunks of flesh, both vital and a hindrance, were removed - this has led to various injuries that require cybernetic support through synthetic implants that can replicate the previously lost processes of the body.
Birthmarks & Miscellaneous Features:
• Hu and Daska, being twins conjoined in a foul manner from birth, and both being twi'lek, have a dual assortment of lekku that allow both of the heads to remain identifiable from this alone, if personality and decorum are not suitable means of discernment - Daska having a rare gift: three lekku, two along the side and a single, longer taking root from the base of his crown and trailing down the back of his neck; whilst Hu has two small, harshly unformed lekku, almost like horns, grown above his temples. Since lekku have a near-phallic status among twi'lek culture, in additional to performing some unspecified function that assists the species' brain, it may attribute to why the lesser, underdeveloped brother suffers from mental instability - ranging from legitimate mental disabilities to simple compensation for a low self-confidence.
Physique: Well Built

Strengths & Talents:
(+) Blessed in the Force.
Where many physical aspects may fail them, the Talatheen brothers have excelled in the incorporeal; the Force blessed the pair with incredible potential and ability where their body fetters their form to a warped and maliciously-appearing cage. While Hu holds a far more vast pool of ability, Daska wields an incredible potential for control and refinement; while both of their talents counteract, and often remain volatile, when the two can manage through miracle to make work in unison, they become a deadly whole - a foe worth fearing, a name worth remembering: the Talatheen Amalgam.
(+) Cybernetic Augmentation
While several weaknesses apply to remaining a being relying so heavily upon mechanical additions to the body, these individual functions excel in modularity; leaving room for an infinite variation of upgrades to increase intelligence, stamina, strengths, etc. While, initially, the Talatheen Amalgam seeks to invoke the ability of the average individual, as time flows they are certain to seek full transcendence.

Neutral Traits & Versatile Characteristics:
(+/-) Primarily Mechanical-based Locomotion
As, in their initial state, the brothers were incapable of any coordinated movement, in addition to fatal flaws within their internal systems (to top off more basic needs, rejected by their cancerous birth), the twins were forced to adorn a variety of harsh cybernetic augments to live a normal life... as a Sith Acolyte. Due to their primarily fragile nature as a being derived from a great deal of mechanical necessity, the pair requires a constant upkeep to remain wholly function - thus are subject to daily surgeries to better perfect their shared body. In addition, this leaves them incredibly weak to electrical-based attacks; with EMPs capable of dismantling their body's properties in their entirety, and potentially causing fatal damage.
(+/-) Merciful
Despite his allegiance to the Sith and his intentions on joining their swelling ranks, the Amalgam is disgusted by unnecessary death and will often take steps to outright spurn the hallowed Sith Code. While his reasoning remains a mystery, he is known to spare defeated opponents when able - his empathy an astounding contrast to his decorum that surprises all who may encounter the mechanic freak during his travels.

Weaknesses & Disabilities:
(-) Physical Birth Defects
Where Hu lacks the means to transport himself - forever fettered to his brother's twisted form, Daska is plagued by mental instabilities. While there is hope in the future to correct his illnesses, derived from a perverted birth, conjured by misbegotten parents, he remains dominated by his immobile brother.
(-) Parasitically Conjoined Twin
While fully intelligent and commanding conscious, Hu remains entirely incapable of motion and relies upon Daska for transportation - thus Hu has developed a system of complexes and motions in order to dominate his mobile sibling. Where Daska is responsible for movement and communication, Hu is the intellectual mind behind the pair, which often provides the basis for their status symbiotic and sentient organism. Where Daska is more neutral in nature, Hu is a foul sort of behind; he demands pain and retribution for his curse of conjoined nature, speaking in harsh, contorting whispers Daska has no hope of escaping, and must eventually oblige.

The Talatheen Amalgam

Lord Cross; Laodicean Brothers Eternal
Note: The Chapters provided, composed directly of either role-plays or blog posts and thus summarized here are not in chronological order; dates will be provided at a later time, when they fall into the great scheme of the plot - but feel free to message me to provide clarity on the current order of things.*

Prologue:

"In an age of strife, contorted by the increasingly deep fathoms of war, I had a dream," said Daska, hands clasped; one composed of silvery durasteel - the other of taught, red flesh. His voice was deep and raspy, with grave tone that echoed forth in falsetto echoes that grinded against the bass of his voice. "I was on a path; alone, surrounded by naught but dust - all else was dead but for me."

"What of me?" inquired his brother, lips drawn back in a snarling affair of wicked teeth, contorting around exposed, gnarled gums.

"I come to this soon; patience, Hu," he replied softly, his metallic voice humming low to sooth and consume. "I walk along this empty road, all has died; there is nothing for me here, not hope nor life - for I to wander upon the brink of death. I attempt to alleviate the heat through suckling upon ice, drawn forth by mystical, unseen and unnoticed catalysts - but only to spit it forth, drenched in deep hues of blood."

"A vision?"

"Silence," gasped Daska. His head, locked within the iron casket of a fettering mask - his voice rasped like an aged joint; it creaked and heaved heavy breaths, forced forth from ramshackle ventilation. "And there was a bird."

"A bird?"

"Dead, rotten; its eyes white, leaking pus and putrid fluids - crawling with dripping clumps of maggots, feeding on the sloughs of decayed matter, corrupted and swollen in that heat. All the same, it crawled to me; small, broken - I pitied it, I attempted to satiate its sorrowful agony. So I attempted to spit the bloody ice into its gaping beak-"

"And?"

"A hound approached, bearing no coat but a rubbery skin that stretched taught, flaking over rippling muscle - its flesh redder than the blood I exhumed."
So it would be, upon the eve of Ryloth's early spring, that the concubine of its gutter bore the fruit of the womb upon the floor - wet nursed by a feeble grandfather and sister, with shaking hands and watery eyes. What came forth was deemed a freak - a monstrosity, bore of the tidings of both sin and mutation; twins, contorted and folded betwixt one another: Talatheens, the both of them, after their misbegotten father, absent to all but the action which conceived them - the larger, the host, was named Daska, whilst the lesser, parasite that fed upon his sibling would be named Hu. Sired by a fiend of failing genes, the monstrosity, once exposed to the world by some miracle, had very little a chance of survival - if any. Even with the technology available, it would be nigh impossible to spare them death's embrace; the mother, a warm soul, chose to spare them the misfortune of existence, for it would bring naught but torment - and had them tossed to the endless waste, an expanse that bridged them to the horizon beyond their home. They found themselves swallowed by the heat, screeching and wailing for mercy with no one to listen - death by the heat or starvation, perhaps even by predator, seemed certain to descend.

Possessions:
Attire:
  • Basic Synthcloth Robes; dyed black, three internal pockets - designed to be airy and light, as to allow even the most casual of breezes to blow through. Created to be much larger than the individual, as to fit comfortably over all the external cybernetics and potential modifications added at a later date; if too large for the current figure, the parts of the cloth that overlap the body - particulary the brims near the ankles and wrists, will be rolled up and pinned with a small, silvery, durasteel needle. x1

[*]'The Ghost of Moraband's Autumn' - Durasteel Mask w/ Bronzium Finish; a mechanical, inorganic-appearing helmet with winding gears and ornate, clockwork decor is worn over the twins' head. While the length of the mask is shown to follow Daska's jawline, as he is the dominate consciousness over the shared form - a high-quality sensor has been fixed to the mask's brow, from which Hu can share his sibling's vision. The round caps along the base of the helmet's 'jawline' conceal a spinning joint, that can dislocate the lower fraction of the facial garb, which contains the built-in breath mask, and reveal the lower face of the wearer. x1

[*]Nerfhide Tabard; dyed a deep purple, toughened through wear and cracked - old and tested by the throes of time, it remains a loyal attire to the wearer, offering moderate protection and providing a rustic design aethsetic and designating oneself as the modern force-user, equal to that of any lightsaber. x1

[*]Basic Attire; coming in a multitude of dark, earthly colors - fresh, but cheap, allowing for multiple sets to be obtained by the wearer. Nothing notable or special relating to the garb, composed of a plain, thin tunic; a nerfhide leather belt, with the flexibility required to hold an assortment of specialized pouches or provide for weapon holsters (or to buckle lightsabres to); thick-soled synthleather boots, with hidden pockets located within the shin; and toughened, fibrous gloves, often tucked within the belt, folded gently, rather than worn, as to conserve their potential for use. x6

Weapons & Tools:
  • Talatheen's 'Red Ice'/DAX-158 Blaster Rifle; while always reluctant to turn to more suitable aid (and a much less personal means of violent confrontation), the Amalgam twins are not without the drive of survival, woven into the midst of their undying goals. The 'Dragoon Arbiter/model X (10) - 158th edition' is a personal technological achievement, crafted by Hu (who guided his brother's unskilled hands) and further modified with a practical level of modularity. x1

The Talatheen Amalgam

Lord Cross; Laodicean Brothers Eternal
About:

Appearance:
Structurally, at perhaps a good distance, the Talatheen Amalgam, masked, would appear to be an average, dark-appearing individual - his figure is carved and molded in the shape of an average man; beneath the exterior decorum and garb would be something far more horrifying. Pale blue skin of twisted, scarred flesh compose a lopsided figure; so deformed, incomplete that cybernetics were utilized to better craft internal systems and external locomotion; and his general appearance is warped and fiendish. Conjoined with his parasitic brother, rendered immobile by a shared spine and unformed limbs, Daska Talatheen, the main conscious and dominant force of the Amalgam, is a generally unattractive male twi'lek - with large lips, wide nostrils, and a heavy brow. His left eye is wholly cybernetic, with outlying plate facets around his eye, to make up the structure of removed bone; his lekkus (three, for he has a rare genetic gift, that gives him, granted, some level of sexual attraction in twi'lek society) drape over his shoulders, two over the left, one over the right. Where his body has not failed to form naturally (and has yet to be augmented) it is taut with toned muscles; he is monstrous in form, a fact which is only multiplied at the presence of his brother, Hu. Hu's skull extends near the nape of Daska's neck, twisted and deformed, with exposed gums and wild, misshapen eyes. While holding the appearance of an infested scourge, Hu is the intellectual mind of the pair which compose the Amalgam, and often directs Daska's ham-fisted efforts of control; he is also the stronger of the two with the Force. Together, they cloak themselves beneath layers of clothing, lost to the deep shame of their appearance - not even their master bears witness to their true form; a fact which holds negative effects upon their hygiene, though, when they can help it, they do their best to remain clean - but that isn't always the case in the life of an wandering outcast.
Personality:
Cast away by their mother, spurned by a father's absence, the pair have grown up bitter - but ultimately sympathetic. They are always ones to dominate, but never ones to kill mindlessly, or give in to haughty rashness. They are collected, and work well as a team, utilizing their individual strengths to ultimately merge as a singular being, hence their self-chosen name: the Talatheen Amalgam. While often without humor or earthly conventionality, and perhaps a bit too prone to fundamentalist literalism, they are a loyal sort, a rare breed, not by birth or how they were raised, but a true kindness in their heart and a desire to see their own treatment abolished; all of these, dreams to be discarded upon the lonely and self-destructive path of the Sith. Yet, despite this, they must obtain power to become One, and the sacrifices of the soul become a necessary obstacle to fulfilling their dream - their purpose, their destiny.
Habits & Preferences:
• Restless - often noted to never quit moving, often tapping his fingers or bouncing his leg at the last, if not continuously pacing.
• Demands respect, but provides it in turn, never failing to recognize one's accomplishments or title.
• Never removes the cloak or mask, and restlessly checks over the length of his body to check for protruding hints to the reality beneath.
• Drinks only water.
• Hates animals with a passion; incredibly frightened of larger beasts.
• Believes droids are sub-par to sentient capability and regards them as sub-intelligences and expendable.
HATES contractions. Often speaks with a lilt when avoiding them.
• Very shy in new company, despite his decorum.
• Often succumbs to childlike fantasies.
• Overthinks.
Reputation:
• Sullust ■■■■: Feared among his master's servants present among the subterranean colonies, simply due to his status. Beyond this, he is unknown.
