NAME: Daryn Voltstar

FACTION: Agents of Chaos

RANK: N/A

SPECIES: Human

AGE: 33

SEX: Male

HEIGHT: 6'1

WEIGHT: 190lbs.

EYES: His right eye is a bright, icy blue. His left eye is a murky white, scarred from a duel years ago.

HAIR: Short, dark brown hair. His beard is of medium length and lighter in colour, although still brown,

SKIN: Caucasian, tanned from work in the sun.

FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes. A force adept.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Strengths:

Lightsaber Master - While a student of the force, Voltstar spent much of his years as a padawan mastering lightsaber combat. He is proficient in Shii-Cho and Soresu, but most prefers the use of the Ataru form.

Force Adept - Raised from birth to be a Jedi, Voltstar's sensitivity to the force was apparent from a young age. While not nearly as adept as some of his peers growing up, Voltstar did learn a few force powers that he does throw in his repertoire;
Force Push/Pull - A basic force power known by many Jedi, Voltstar uses this as a distraction more often than as a combat ability.
Force Lightning - After being banished from the halls of the Jedi temple, Voltstar traveled the galaxy hoping to continue his studies of the force- even if it meant learning truths about the force that the Jedi didn't want him knowing. One such power was force lightning, a power that Voltstar uses to control crowds and destroy those in his path.
Mind Trick - Voltstar believes, more than anything else, that conflict should be resolved peacefully when possible. His understanding of the Jedi mind trick is comparable to a Jedi masters, and is often one of the first things he will attempt before resorting to combat.

Master of Deception - Being an ex-Jedi in a world wrought to be rid of them, one must learn to live outside the law. Voltstar quickly became a master of making people believe what he wanted them to. His charisma and ability to lead is unmatched, although that can sometimes (more often than not) cause trouble for him down the line. Many suspect that his true name isn't even Daryn Voltstar, but that that is another pseudonym used to escape the clutches of his pursuers.

Weaknesses:

Mistrust - Learning to live outside the law has taught Voltstar one important lesson; that most cannot be trusted. Often creating a rift between himself and his allies, Voltstar's lack of faith in his friends could be his ultimate undoing.

A Call to the Order - Perhaps Voltstar's biggest weakness in his new life would be the tug he feels pulling him to the Order. Despite leaving years ago, he often feels the force his directing him back to his old stomping grounds. This is less than appealing to Voltstar. A crisis of self can be hard to deal with, and this unknowing divide of self in Voltstar has led him to make several mistakes in the past.

Blind to the Force - While adept in force forms and combat, Voltstar was never able to feel the force as other masters were. This led him at a young age to believe the Jedi to be liars- their faith in an unknown force, one that he could not feel as easily as he could use, becoming the wedge that would separate him from their Order.

Man or Machine? - While not an android yet, Voltstar has had surgery to save his life more than once. Losing an arm and an eye in a duel years ago, his left arm is now completely cybernetic. His lungs, poisoned after an assassination attempt, are now powered by bits of machine- and it seems like they're closer to failing every day.

APPEARANCE:
Standing at 6'1" and weighing in at 190lbs, Voltstar isn't what one would consider threatening. His short brown hair and long beard hide a handsome face, his eyes prominent- one of which, his left, ruined and murky after a duel many years ago. His robes, grey and white, are adorned with the symbol of a rebel alliance- antiques belonging to the man he stole the robe from. The robes are long enough to cover his arms, hiding his one cybernetic arm- just as he prefers it. He wears a tattoo proudly on his chest, a small three-pronged image designed by a woman once close to him.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born on the desert planet of Abafar, much of Voltstar's young life is unknown. What is known is that he was born to a loving family of traders in one of the larger colonies on the planet. Taken by the Jedi at the young age of five, he spent the remainder or his young life in the Order learning the force. His master, a relatively young Jedi Master by the name of Gro-Gin, had instilled in him a deep respect for the ideals of freedom. It was there that he met Liza. The two, close in age, quickly formed a strong bond. Near inseparable, the council quickly decided that the two must remain separated so as to not tempt the two of them with emotions and temptation of the dark side.
After Voltstar had achieved the rank of Jedi Knight, he and Liza had made a plan- to leave the Jedi Order and live a life together in secrecy. But just before the two could make their escape, Liza was called to action on a small planet in the Outer Rim- a task that the council deemed peril to the stabilization of the force and galaxy. Liza, alongside two other Knights made their journey... only to never return.
Voltstar was furious. To him, the council had sent Liza to her death to stop the two of them from having a life together. For two years after her disappearance he demanded answers from the council, breaking in to their studies and libraries, scrounging for any information he could find. This eventually led him to his master- Gro-Gin. Master Gin was the one that had made the decision to send the Knights to the Outer Rim, and presumably, to their deaths. Voltstar confronted Gin, accusing him of murder and secrecy. Gin would deny this, claiming that he did only what the force called him to do.
This wouldn't be enough for Voltstar. He ignited his lightsaber and attacked his old master. As strong as he was in lightsaber combat, his old master was too much. Gin quickly struck Voltstar down, taking both his left eye and his left arm. Embarrassed and hurt, Voltstar would leave the Order and scrounge a life as a mercenary and smuggler, his use of the force and lightsaber aiding him wherever he goes.
The last ten years of Voltstar's life are shrouded in mystery. Some claim that he's a legend, a myth used by drug lords and smugglers to keep their men in line. Others believe that he is now a reformed Jedi, fighting for the force and encouraging freedom across the galaxy. Most, however, fear him. To most, he is a scourge- a weapon used to destroy empires.
