DARTH VHALOR

Age: 47
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Height: 1.89 meters
Weight: 88 kilograms
Force Sensitive: Yes — Highly Force Sensitive

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Darth Vhalor is a tall, gaunt Human male whose appearance reflects decades of immersion in the dark side and forbidden Force practices. His complexion is unusually pale, contrasting sharply with his long, unkempt black hair. His eyes are dark and intense, often appearing almost black until the faint crimson glow of the dark side becomes visible within them.

Vhalor rarely allows his face to be seen in public. He wears an elaborate black ritual mask, its design incorporating elongated, tendril-like features that resemble the iconography of ancient creatures described in his forbidden texts. The mask has become one of his defining characteristics and has earned him the name The Deep-Seer among those familiar with his reputation.

His clothing consists of layered black robes worn beneath pieces of dark, archaic armor. His robes are decorated with occult symbols, metallic inscriptions, chains, talismans, and relics collected during his travels. Several of these objects are believed to possess minor Force-sensitive properties.

At his waist hangs an ancient-looking lightsaber with a dark metal hilt and a violet blade. Unlike the ornate robes and artifacts he carries, the weapon itself is deliberately simple and practical.

His overall appearance gives the impression of a combination of Sith warrior, wandering sorcerer, and religious occultist.

INVENTORY

Weapons

Violet-bladed Lightsaber
Vhalor's primary weapon. The weapon possesses an unusually old design and has been modified over the years to serve as both a lightsaber and a focus for certain Force rituals.

The Tome of the Drowned Star

An ancient occult book containing fragments of Sith sorcery, obscure Force traditions, alien writings, and references to mysterious entities Vhalor calls the Old Ones.

The true origin of the tome is unknown.

Vhalor believes the artifact is far older than the current Sith traditions and may contain knowledge from a civilization that existed before the modern galactic order.

Ritual Talismans

Vhalor carries numerous small charms, crystals, bones, metallic symbols, and carved relics. Many are used as focuses during Force rituals rather than conventional weapons.

Warlock's Robes

Heavy black ceremonial robes reinforced with sections of flexible armor. The robes contain numerous hidden pockets and compartments for storing artifacts, components, and ritual equipment.

Occult Mask

A black ritual mask decorated with tendril-like designs. Vhalor considers the mask both a symbol of his faith and a representation of the beings he believes exist beyond the known galaxy.

Utility Equipment

  • Comlink
  • Datapad
  • Survival equipment
  • Medpac
  • Portable sensor
  • Field rations
  • Navigation equipment
  • Small collection of ancient artifact-recovery tools

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Vhalor is quiet, patient, and highly intellectual.

Unlike many Sith who openly embrace anger, cruelty, and domination, Vhalor rarely displays his emotions. He prefers to manipulate situations from the shadows, allowing his enemies to destroy themselves rather than confronting them directly.

He possesses an intense fascination with ancient civilizations, forgotten Force traditions, unexplored worlds, and forbidden artifacts.

Vhalor believes that the Jedi and Sith have both fundamentally misunderstood the nature of the Force.

To him, the Force is not the entirety of existence.

It is merely the surface of something much deeper.

Vhalor refers to the beings he believes exist beyond that surface as the Old Ones.

He believes these entities existed before the modern Jedi and Sith traditions and may exist outside conventional concepts of life and death.

Whether the Old Ones actually exist or whether Vhalor has simply fallen victim to his own obsession remains uncertain.

Vhalor himself refuses to entertain the possibility that his beliefs are false.

His greatest fear is not death.

It is dying without discovering the truth.

Beliefs

Vhalor follows a philosophy known among his followers as The Drowned Path.

He believes civilizations are temporary, while the forces beyond them are eternal. Republics rise. Empires fall. Jedi and Sith destroy one another.

Eventually, Vhalor believes, something ancient will awaken.

Rather than attempting to prevent this event, he intends to understand it—and, if possible, prepare himself and his followers for it.

STRENGTHS

Occult Knowledge

Vhalor possesses extensive knowledge of Sith sorcery, ancient Force traditions, rituals, artifacts, and forgotten civilizations.

Force Sensitivity

Vhalor is a powerful Force-sensitive individual with particular talent for telepathy, visions, illusions, and dark side techniques.

Intelligence

He is an analytical and patient thinker who prefers planning and manipulation over impulsive action.

Mental Discipline

Years of meditation and exposure to dark side rituals have given Vhalor considerable control over his emotions and the ability to maintain concentration under extreme circumstances.

Lightsaber Training

Although Vhalor considers himself a warlock first, he remains a capable lightsaber combatant and is dangerous when forced into close combat.

WEAKNESSES

Obsession

Vhalor's pursuit of forbidden knowledge can override his better judgment. He is willing to take considerable risks when presented with an artifact or piece of information he believes may reveal more about the Old Ones.

Physical Frailty

Vhalor is lean rather than physically powerful. He cannot rely on brute strength against larger or more physically capable opponents.

Ritual Dependence

Many of his more powerful occult abilities require preparation, concentration, or specific ritual components. He is considerably less dangerous when prevented from preparing his rituals.

Unstable Visions

Vhalor increasingly experiences visions and whispers that he believes originate from the Old Ones. It has become difficult even for him to determine whether some of these experiences are genuine Force visions or manifestations of his own deteriorating mind.

Dark Side Corruption

Vhalor's prolonged use of forbidden Force techniques has begun to take a toll on both his body and mind. Continued exposure could eventually cause irreversible physical and psychological damage.

HISTORY

Darth Vhalor's true birthplace and early childhood remain unknown.

The earliest reliable records place him as a Force-sensitive scholar traveling between ancient ruins and forgotten worlds. Unlike most Force-sensitive individuals, Vhalor displayed little interest in the conventional teachings of either the Jedi or Sith.

He was fascinated by what came before them.

Ancient temples.

Forgotten civilizations.

Lost holocrons.

Dead languages.

Buried artifacts.

His search eventually led him to an abandoned ruin where he discovered fragments of what would become known as The Tome of the Drowned Star.

The discovery changed him.

The writings contained references to beings that appeared to exist outside conventional understanding of the Force. Vhalor became convinced that ancient civilizations had encountered these entities and deliberately erased their existence from galactic history.

He began studying forbidden Sith texts in an attempt to understand what he had discovered.

Eventually, his studies led him into direct conflict with traditional Sith teachings.

Where Sith sought domination through the Force, Vhalor sought understanding.

Where Sith sought immortality, Vhalor sought knowledge of what existed beyond life and death.

Where Sith sought to control the galaxy, Vhalor became convinced that the galaxy itself was insignificant compared to the forces waiting beyond it.

His obsession eventually earned him the title Darth Vhalor.

However, Vhalor does not consider himself a traditional Sith Lord.

He considers himself something else.

A warlock.

A seer.

A prophet.

The Deep-Seer

As Vhalor's reputation grew, stories began spreading about a masked Sith occultist who traveled to forgotten worlds searching for artifacts others considered cursed.

Expeditions disappeared after entering ruins he had previously visited.

Explorers reported hearing voices in abandoned temples.

Several survivors described dreams of enormous creatures beneath black oceans and unfamiliar stars.

Vhalor became known among smugglers, explorers, and artifact hunters as The Deep-Seer.

Few know what he ultimately seeks.

Some believe he is searching for an ancient artifact capable of allowing him to communicate directly with the Old Ones.

Others believe he wants to awaken them.

A smaller number believe Vhalor does not intend to awaken anything at all.

They believe he simply wants to be there when something else wakes up.

For now, Darth Vhalor continues his search through the forgotten corners of the galaxy, following fragments of ancient knowledge and whispers carried through the Force.

He remains convinced that the greatest secret in the galaxy is not hidden in the stars.

It is hidden beneath them.

And Vhalor intends to find it.
