  • Name: Darth Vaedrith
  • Titles:
    • Lord Thaumaturge of the Alchemarch
    • Architect of Unmaking
    • Master of the Final Shape
    • Disciple of the Shadow Hand
  • Loyalties: Darth Vaedrith's loyalty belongs to the Kainate and especially Darth Prazutis. He is a true believer of the Eternal Rule philosophy and his devotion extends far beyond all other convictions, and he devotes himself to him completely.
  • Wealth: Functionally unlimited within the scope of his work. Vaedrith commands Alchemarch resources across Kainate space, including blacksite laboratories, classified materials, and experimental infrastructure.
  • Notable Possessions:
    • Sith Lightsaber - "Suture": A refined Sith lightsaber carried by Darth Vaedrith, designed not for aggressive dueling, but for precision, control, and symbolic authority. "Suture" is a slender, elegantly constructed lightsaber with a polished phrik and blood forged aurodium-alloy hilt, etched with microscopic Sith runes that subtly channel and stabilize dark side energy. The weapon emits a deep crimson blade, unusually narrow and intensely focused, designed for surgical precision rather than sweeping combat. The internal focusing system incorporates a specially tuned kyber crystal, refined through Sith alchemical processes to produce a stable, needle-like blade profile, minimizing energy dispersion and allowing for highly controlled cuts.
    • Crucible Diadem: A Sith alchemized cranial circlet worn by Darth Vaedrith, designed to enhance cognitive supremacy and synchronize his will with the vast experimental networks of the Alchemarch. The Diadem is constructed from a layered lattice of blood forged aurodium alloys and inscribed with precision-etched Sith runes, forming a neural interface that bridges biological thought, Force perception, and Shadow Mind processing systems. Through this integration, the Diadem allows Vaedrith to operate at a level of simultaneous awareness far beyond normal cognition, processing multiple experimental variables, ritual sequences, and battlefield conditions in parallel. Its internal architecture stabilizes complex thought patterns during high-output alchemical casting, ensuring that even the most intricate procedures are executed with flawless precision.
    • Blood Crystal Core: A stabilized alchemical kyber derivative worn at the center of Darth Vaedrith's chest, serving as a personal energy regulator and ritual amplification focus. The Core is housed within a blood-forged aurodium casing, its internal crystal matrix refined through Sith alchemy to harmonize with Vaedrith's connection to the dark side. The Blood Crystal Core absorbs and stores excess energy generated through prolonged ritual activity, preventing destabilization during high-output casting. It functions as both a reservoir and regulator, smoothing energy flow and mitigating feedback that would otherwise compromise precision. When required, the stored power can be redirected to reinforce Vaedrith's control, allowing him to sustain complex manipulations far beyond normal limits.
    • Thaumaturgic Gauntlets: A pair of concealed, multi-function alchemical instruments integrated into Darth Vaedrith's sleeves, designed for precision manipulation of biological and material systems. The gauntlets are constructed from a composite of phrik and dark-treated alloys, etched internally with micro-runes that enhance Force conduction and control. Each gauntlet houses a suite of surgical and alchemical tools, including micro-injectors capable of delivering refined compounds with exact dosage, vibro-filament arrays for delicate or invasive procedures, and rune emitters that can inscribe Sith glyphs directly into living tissue or inert matter. These systems allow Vaedrith to perform rapid alterations in controlled environments, turning his hands into instruments of transformation rather than destruction. They use a nanite composition to seamlessly form around his hands and disappear into his sleeves when no longer in use.
    • Alchemical Rebreather Lattice: A subdermal life-support and filtration system embedded within Darth Vaedrith's physiology, engineered to allow uninterrupted operation within hazardous or unstable experimental conditions. The lattice consists of bio-engineered filtration nodes and alchemically reinforced respiratory channels, seamlessly integrated with his natural biology. This system renders Vaedrith highly resistant to airborne toxins, corrosive agents, and experimental byproducts, enabling him to function within environments that would incapacitate or kill unprotected beings. It continuously filters and neutralizes harmful compounds, while regulating internal balance to ensure stability during exposure to volatile alchemical reactions.
  • Skills: Vaedrith is a master of Sith alchemy, dark biotechnology, and Force assisted biological manipulation. His expertise includes genetic restructuring, toxin engineering, ritual system design, and the creation of enhanced organisms and weapons. He is also a highly capable strategist and administrator, able to coordinate large-scale experimental operations across multiple facilities simultaneously.

  • Personality: Darth Vaedrith is not merely calm, he is consumed by refinement. Where others perceive individuals, he sees only incomplete structures awaiting correction. His mind does not categorize beings as allies or enemies, but as flawed iterations of what they could become. Every movement, every word spoken in his presence is quietly analyzed, not for intent, but for imperfection. He does not rush to judgment, because in his view, nothing is beyond improvement, only beyond saving. His voice is measured and soft, almost reassuring, carrying none of the overt menace common among Sith. It is this restraint that unsettles most, as it becomes clear he is not restraining cruelty, he simply does not recognize it as cruelty at all.

Unlike those who dominate through fear or force of will, Vaedrith exhibits a quiet, persistent fascination with transformation. He studies people the way a master artisan studies raw material, observing posture, breath, reaction, and resilience. Resistance does not anger him, it intrigues him. The more something resists change, the more invested he becomes in seeing it refined. In conversation, he may pause to examine a subject more closely, ask questions that feel invasive in their precision, or make observations that suggest he understands the body and mind more intimately than the individual themselves. To Vaedrith, pain is not suffering, it is progress made visible, a necessary stage in the correction of flawed design.

Vaedrith sees existence itself as a failed draft awaiting revision. His loyalty to Darth Prazutis is not born of fear or ambition, but of profound ideological alignment. He believes utterly in the Shadow Hand's vision, not as conquest alone, but as the right to decide what reality is permitted to become. He does not seek recognition, nor does he compete for power. His purpose is singular and unwavering: To reshape life, flesh, and form until they align with a higher, more perfected state. In his presence, one does not feel threatened in the traditional sense, one feels evaluated. And in that evaluation lies a far more terrifying truth. He has already begun deciding what you will become.

Darth Vaedrith was born into a surviving lineage of Sith Purebloods on Athiss, raised within a culture that revered its ancient heritage as the pinnacle of perfection. From the earliest days of his life, he was surrounded by doctrine that spoke of supremacy as something already achieved, something inherent in blood rather than forged through will. He was taught that the Purebloods were the final expression of Sith evolution, unchallenged, unchanging, and complete. To most, this belief was a source of pride. To Vaedrith, it was a quiet and suffocating limitation.

He disagreed.

Where others saw perfection, Vaedrith saw stagnation. He observed the rigidity of tradition, the reverence for the past, and the unwillingness to evolve beyond it. To him, the Sith were not a finished form, but a species that had halted its own ascent, mistaking legacy for superiority. This belief took root early, shaping his studies and driving him toward disciplines others approached with caution. He began to explore alchemy not as a tool of augmentation, but as a means of correction, an instrument through which life itself could be redefined and improved.

His early experiments were controversial, bordering on heretical. Vaedrith did not limit his work to external subjects or expendable test material. Instead, he turned his focus inward, applying alchemical principles to Sith biology itself. Flesh, blood, and structure became variables to be tested, refined, and reimagined. Most of his test subjects swiftly became Sith Purebloods themselves. These acts drew the ire of traditionalists, who saw his work as a violation of sacred lineage. Yet Vaedrith did not view it as desecration. In his mind, he was doing what the Sith had always claimed to value, pursuing power without restraint, regardless of cost.

This defiance did not go unnoticed. It drew the attention of Darth Prazutis.

Where others saw danger, Prazutis saw potential. In Vaedrith, the Shadow Hand recognized not only brilliance, but a mind already walking the same path, one that rejected limitation and embraced the right to shape reality itself. While traditionalists on Athiss moved to execute him, Vaedrith was spared and instead brought to the Shadow Hand where he would serve under Prazutis' direct tutelage, not as a conventional apprentice, but as a specialized instrument of doctrine. Under his guidance, Vaedrith's philosophy was refined, sharpened, and given purpose. He came to understand that true domination was not achieved solely through conquest or destruction, but through control over what existence is permitted to become.

The Alchemarch was a natural fit for him upon completion of his training, and he swiftly outshined all of his peers. He was soon eevated to the position of Lord Thaumaturge, Vaedrith transformed the Alchemarch from a fragmented collection of experiments into a unified engine of controlled evolution, evolving it far past its original existence. Sithspawn programs were systematized, alchemical processes refined into repeatable methodologies, and biological warfare elevated from chaotic horror into precise, calculated science. Under his direction, creation itself became weaponized, each project, each organism, each innovation serving as a deliberate step toward the Kainate's absolute dominion.

Now, Darth Vaedrith stands as the supreme architect of forbidden creation within the Kainate. He does not wage war as others do, through fleets or armies alone, but through transformation, of flesh, of form, of possibility. Where others conquer systems, Vaedrith reshapes what it means to exist within them. To stand before him is not merely to face an enemy, but to be evaluated as material, unfinished, imperfect, and subject to correction.
