(More to be added through story progression)

APPEARANCE

Tennacus takes on the form of a tall humanoid male with a definitive pale complexion and muscular physique. While his age is not verified, he appears youthful in his appearance, estimated to be between twenty-five to thirty-five years within his lifespan. His body is streaked with various scars across his flesh, brought on by the several battles in which he has participated during his service within the Brotherhood of Darkness. Although it will unlikely never be observed, he has two elongated scars across the length of his back which he endured by both a master and apprentice of the Sith lineage. His eyes consist of a grey, crisp hue, while his hair was noted to be pure white; however, the latter is never likely seen. Like most associates of the Sith, his preference of attire consisted of a dark, draped robe which concealed most aspects of hisappearance. It was also the uniform present during his time within suspended animation.

PERSONALITY

Tennacus is usually known to maintain a calm and serious demeanour, often recognised as monotone in regards to his verbal activity. He tends to express a deep passion towards the Dark Side of the Force as well as the Sith, strongly believing in their ideologies in opposition to the tenets of the Jedi. He considers the likes of the Jedi to be limited in their abilities, brought on by their neglect of companionship and strict guidance towards the Light Side of the Force. Tennacus is a very determined individual in regards to completing a goal. His old Master and Apprentice often complimented him on his linear line of thought when considering his decisions to acquire the completion of something. It was his Master who most applauded his determination, offering him the name of 'Tennacus' in reference to his 'Tenacious' behaviour.

In regard to combat, Tennacus is dangerously determined to see the deaths of any enemies before him. His former Master once noted his fixation of completing an objective - in this case executing a target - when an opponent escaped him, and Tennacus ventured halfway across the Galaxy to bring his opponent to an end.

WEAKNESSES

1). Extreme temperatures of heat are relatively problematic for Tennacus to tolerate, most likely brought on by his prolonged, suspended animation within cryostasis at sub-zero temperatures.

2). Tennacus' lungs were damaged as a result of his prolonged 'stasis. While he is able to breathe and conduct conversations normally outside of combat without technological assistance, when engaging in combat it is more beneficial for him to maintain the use of his respirator to ensure his lungs do not interfere with his conflict.

HISTORY

Darth Tennacus, formerly known as Bel-Tor, was originally a human male who had originated from the planet of Coruscant under the Old Republic. He had stemmed from an academic bloodline, with his mother and father reigning over a technological and pharmaceutical company which had been passed down through generations. From a young age, Bel-Tor had been driven towards academic success, enforced to study complex alchemic and technological challenges which came at an expense of extreme paternal neglect. By the time he had reached fifteen years of age, he was already being transported off-planet to study further in depth, unaware that, in secret, his parents were Dark Side Enthusiasts covertly serving to agitate the Old Republic and support the upcoming Sith who had conspired to bring an end to the democratic leadership. Rather than be informed of their intentions, Bel-Tor was blindly taken away from his parents during transport, and he was inherited by a Sith enthusiast who transported him to an unknown moon operating as an academy for Sith loyalists. It eventually became apparent that Bel-Tor was not the only student who had been recruited into the unknown academy under unspoken pretenses, but it soon became clear that other influential families from across the galaxy had offered their family members for this regime. Bel-Tor soon discovered the identity of the academy after other students had confessed their knowledge on its services, and that these influential families existed as some sort of loyalist organisation who wished to see the destruction of the Old Republic, offering up canditates to the infamous Brotherhood of Darkness. It became so that only those sensitive to the Force were recruited to join this academy, and would be later transferred to the Sith Academy on Korriban to complete their training.

Thankfully for Bel-Tor, the idea of being recruited as some sort of religious soldier did not concern him. If anything, it grossly advanced his interest to satisfy his parents further, as the Force in general was an aspect of the galaxy he strongly desired to understand. Some students did not accept their new positions in education, but Bel-Tor, like many others, was intrigued by the promise of power and wisdom. From a young age, Bel-Tor had felt strongly about the Force in general, but thought differently in regards to Jedi ideology. When he learned of their limitations and sacrifices, he thought them to be foolish, believing that emotion was embedded in every living thing, and that it was natural to identify and express them. Despite questioning his parents about the Force in his youth, they never expressed interest to teach him anything, perhaps believing the tongue of a child could not be trusted with their secrets. Even in regards to political matters he could understand, he believed the Old Republic were hypocritical in their opinions, and often thought about what could be gained by some form of galactic rule under a singular order. These ideologies grossly fed into Bel-Tor's training at his assigned academies, and he deeply invested in all manners of research in regards to the Dark Side of the Force and the history of the Sith. His parents' neglect, although frowned upon, had paid off, given him a determination to learn and expand his knowledge for a better understanding of existence.

When Bel-Tor reached an age of twenty-two, he was already several years a student at the Sith Academy on Korriban, learning under a the famous Blademaster Kas'im in both knowledge and combat. It was not hidden to him that they were preparing for some kind of war, so he dedicated himself loyally towards the upcoming conflict that was thought to bring about the rise of the Sith. His loyalty, knowledge and determination allowed him to serve as a Sith warrior within the Brotherhood of Darkness, and fight alongside fellow Sith during their many conflicts against the Old Republic.

Tennacus' had eventually been handed to a Muun teacher that had developed into a squadron of twelve student warriors serving under a master during the conflicts. The wisdom of their master allowed them to accomplish several raids and assist within the primary campaigns of the Brotherhood of Darkness, but it was towards the end of the war that their master had begun to lead them astray. The Muun teacher they had served under made several wrong decisions towards the end of the Ruusan Campaign, one of which cost the lives of over half the squadron, leaving only three of them alive. While they were told to not mourn for their fallen brothers and sisters, Bel-Tor and the surviving members of his squadron thought the deaths of their fellow allies was in vain and served no purpose. The Muun was rather abrupt in his beliefs, claiming they were not there to question his decisions, but instead act on his will lest they suffer a death at his own hand. While the students were silent in this scenario, they all thought their Muun master was becoming blinded by his religious ideologies, grossly dedicated to the survival of the Sith at all costs. During one of the last skirmishes within the Ruusan Campain, the Muun teacher had made a decision which ultimately brought about their defeat against several members of the Army of Light who ambushed them within the wilderness. They were outmanned, and the Muun teacher was struck down, but not killed. In the final moments, only two Sith survived, Bel-Tor and another, who approached their master's side as he announced his upcoming death. He claimed to have foreseen the defeat of the Brotherhood of Darkness and ordered his last remaining students to escape with their lives so they could live on and continue the Sith lineage. Unexpectedly, the surviving students drew their lightsabers, agreeing that it should be them to deliver the final stroke. In unison they struck him with their weapons, then took to his order to retreat. Unfortunately, the other surviving student was killed during the escape, and Bel-Tor was left alone to make a hasty departure from Ruusan.

Tennacus managed to reach his ship beyond the battlefield, quickly taking flight to ascend out of the atmosphere. His initial trajectory was towards Korriban, but he was followed by two Old Republican vessels which Bel-Tor sensed to be piloted by Jedi. He changed his trajectory to the Outer Rim and propelled into hyperspace, ejecting spontaneously within an unknown system. Unbeknown to him, a Jedi had planted a beacon on the external material of his ship, and Bel-Tor was quickly tracked after his jump concluded. He engaged in an hour-long dogfight against the Jedi pilots, but eventually Old Republican reinforcements were called and Bel-Tor was struck down. He crash landed on an unknown moon, the engines of his craft rapidly leaking, as well as a pressure breach within the cockpit. Bel-Tor was dangerously wounded by the crash, having suffered several sharp pieces of shrapnel that had impaled themselves within his hip and shoulder. He instantly started to bleed once he removed the metallic pieces embedded within him. In his desperation, he slipped into an atmospheric suit and waited for the Old Republican ships to determine his ship destroyed before they left the system. Once he confirmed their departure, Bel-Tor activated a distress signal and went to the medical wing on board his craft. He departed from his atmospheric suit once he had assured pressure stabilization and climbed into a surgical cryosatsis unit to fix his injuries. Energy conversion allowed the ship to distribute energy to the wing, allowing his wounds to be surgically repaired. Weakened, Bel-Tor activated the cryostatis unit to preserve him and force him into suspended animation through hibernation. He did not anticipate the duration in which he would spend there, believing Sith loyalists would eventually come to his aid. Unbeknown to him, the Brotherhood of Darkness he once knew had fallen. No one was coming to his aid.

An unknown length of time past while Bel-Tor was still present within the cryostasis unit. Given his unconscious state of mind, he was not aware of the duration of time he had spent there, not to mention what had transpired in the Galaxy in his absence. But still, his ship continued to transmit his distress signal into space, hoping that anything would come to receive it. Eventually, someone did, and they tracked the distress signal to the Outer Rim, realising that it was using an old Sith code. While Bel-Tor had released his distress signal in the hopes of anyone finding it, he was lucky to have a Sith loyalist to realise the distress signal's code, and they soon traveled to the unknown moon to discover his crashed vessel. On board the search party were three droids serving under Sith operatives. The party was led by a Hysalrian Sith Master, Darth Viscus and a Keshiri Sith who served under him. They boarded the crashed vessel and quickly discovered the cryostasis unit, taking it on board their freighter where they carefully coordinated the reanimation of Bel-Tor within.

When Bel-Tor was awoken, he was highly agitated and distressed, having woke surrounded by droids. He suffered with a temporal memory disfigurement, leading him to believe that he was still present at the last skirmish he commenced. Bel-Tor immediately attacked the droids and reached for his lightsaber, only to be forced back into a prone position on the medical bed by Darth Viscus until his agitation calmed. Once the situation had quelled to something less aggressive, Darth Viscus announced the safety of Bel-Tor to reassure him in his confusion. Bel-Tor demanded to know where he was, eventually remembering his last unfortunate situation, soon recognising that he was not on board his own ship. Darth Viscus informed Bel-Tor that he was on board their freighter, introducing himself and the Keshiri as followers of the Sith. Bel-Tor could quickly sense the Dark Side within them, confirming his own loyalty to them which led to Darth Viscus releasing him from the restraint via the Force. Bel-Tor had suffered some form of respiratory sickness due to his hibernation, and he was equipped with a respiratory tank to assist with his breathing. The droids returned to medically assisting him as he sat upright on the bed, questioning the Sith loyalists on how they had come to find him. Darth Viscus informed Bel-Tor that they had picked up his distress signal, but did not believe it to be true given how old a code it was. While Bel-Tor was not assured on the date he had awoken, when he mentioned returning to the Brotherhood of Darkness, he was surprised to discover that they had long been deceased. Bel-Tor desired to know what Sith operation now existed, and he was even more surprised to discover that there was no openly recognised faction of the Sith presently existing, and that Darth Viscus and the Keshiri were likely the only two to currently exist.

After some discussion, Bel-Tor learned that the Brotherhood of Darkness had long been wiped out, but a new lineage for the Sith had been installed by a surviving member known as Darth Bane. Still suffering from some term of memory loss, Bel-Tor could not account for who the Sith was, but Darth Viscus had informed him of his history and initiation of a lineage for the Sith known as the Rule of Two. According to Darth Viscus, Darth Bane had started this means of survival due to the infighting the Sith suffered, believing the only way they could continue towards a galactic survival was by ensuring only two Sith could exist at any given time: one Master and one Apprentice. One to learn, and one to each. According to Darth Viscus, he was a loyalist to this system, but he could not verify his legitimacy to the lineage as official descendants of its line. Darth Viscus only claimed to be a loyalist to Darth Bane's ideology, claiming it had kept them alive for so many years.

Darth Viscus sensed that the Dark Side in Bel-Tor was strong, and invited him to join under the guidance of Darth Viscus as a Sith Apprentice. When Bel-Tor questioned hypocrisy in taking a new apprentice under the Rule of Two, Darth Viscus pointed out that the Keshiri female known as Vedum Tuul was not an official apprentice under Darth Viscus, but was instead a follower of the Dark Side who served him loyally. Darth Viscus claimed that his discovery of Bel-Tor was no mistake, and that he sensed great potential in him as well as a loyalty to the Sith. Bel-Tor accepted the part of Apprentice under Darth Viscus, recognising that he had a strong entanglement with the Force.

For four years, Bel-Tor served as apprentice to Darth Viscus loyally. He trained and learned under his new master, and together they accomplished many a feat to expand their knowledge and power towards the Dark Side. As much as they devoted themselves to the Dark Side of the Force, they also interfered with political affairs, with Bel-Tor becoming something of a bounty hunter/executioner, as well as a intimidating presence to those conflicted in giving them what they desired. Together, they conspired to disrupt the Republic, as well as expand their understanding on the Force. They uncovered Holocrons and retrieved Sith artifacts both ancient and lost, and seized riches to financially assist them in their expeditions across the galaxy. Bel-Tor's determination and continuation of success, even when the odds were against them, was recognised by Darth Viscus as one of his greatest aspects. Darth Viscus considered him a tenacious Sith, and announced him reborn under the new name of Darth Tennacus.

Darth Viscus was as wise as he was strong, in Bel-Tor's eyes. He was talented in the Force as well as in physical combat, but he was undeniably vicious when it came to training. Bel-Tor suffered as much as he achieved, both physically and mentally, in accordance to the Sith lineage to make him stronger. While it was considered beneficial to his growth, Vedum Tuul counselled Tennacus in secret, claiming that he believed Viscus was torturing him out of his own enjoyment. At times, Tennacus did despise the methods used by his Master, believing that he had seen glimpses of enjoyment in his torment personally. Darth Viscus could be rather derogatory and secretive at times, even when Tennacus undeniably used his advanced wisdom in alchemy to help them achieve their goals. Tennacus had been known to design poisons and serums to help them achieve their purposes, but too many times had his Master claimed them unnecessary, accusing Tennacus of trying to impress him and overstep his boundaries.

Sometime during the later years of his apprenticeship, Darth Viscus had required Darth Tennacus to retrieve a variety of different species, animalistic and humanoid in physical and mental attributes. At first, Tennacus would not be told why he was delivering them to his Master, but he remained loyal to his Master's wishes, delivering several individuals he had abducted through force as well as taming through the use of the Dark Side of the Force. Tennacus remained oblivious to their function in their goals for many months, only acting as another pair of hands to lobotomise the individuals they had targeted, but after some time the Sith Master confessed his motives, claiming that he was searching for a way to manipulate Midichlorians in an unnatural manner. Viscus claimed that his own Sith Master before him had been interested in this experimentation, devoting years to a potential manipulation of the Force that would allow them to create sentient life. Tennacus had never heard of such a thing being possible before, and repeatedly scanned Holocrons and ancient Sith texts they had in their possession to find evidence of such a power, but it was not recorded in any known archives. They did not accomplish this goal personally, but Darth Viscus believed they had gotten close, sometimes being able to reanimate the deceased individuals they had abducted who were both maddened and sanely sentient in their mentality, even if only for a fleeting moment. No subjects survived, but Darth Viscus believed it was a work in progress that required constant failure to rule out how to avoid them in the future. While they were not successful in creating sentient life from nothing, they did use the DNA of two different species and fuse them, focusing deeply to infuse it with the Force, which created an embryo that looked promising. Unfortunately, it died a couple of hours into its creation, but Darth Viscus still considered it a great accomplishment.

In the Fourth year of his apprenticeship, Viscus, Tennacus and Vedum Tuul went on an expedition to Korriban, following leads towards a supposed, ancient Sith base deep beneath a mountain. The three traveled cautiously to evade being noticed, and found an entrance into the nameless mountain where they descended deep beneath Korriban, discovering an ancient Sith crypt. It remained present, even after thousands of years, with the likes of Sith Holocrons, books and artifacts, as well as several tombs occupied by long-deceased Sith. Darth Viscus had a desire to open and raid them, but Tennacus warned him that they may be rigged, which he was scolded for. The Hyslarian claimed fear had struck itself in Tennacus, and ordered him to open one of the tombs as punishment for his paranoia. Tennacus reluctantly opened one of the tombs with extreme caution, and as he expected, it was rigged to kill them. A jet of poisonous fumes quickly ejected from the opened seal, and in a blind, instinctive decision, Tennacus tapped into the Force and manipulated the fumes towards his Master, covering him in a cloud of toxic fumes.

Whatever the toxin was, Darth Viscus quickly suffered from its poison. He coughed repeatedly, spitting blood as the scales on his body started to melt in various places, forcing the Hysalrian to collapse over his tail. Tennacus quickly rushed to his Master's side, attempting to assure him that they would help him, but Darth Viscus only laughed in derision. Tennacus quickly became conscious of what he had just done, apologising for his unconscious decision, but Darth Viscus claimed that it was fated to happen. He claimed that it was the will of the Force, and that Tennacus must not attempt to alter it, for Darth Viscus claimed he would kill him if he ever recovered. Tennacus slowly accepted what he had done as necessary, claiming that his Master had brought about this himself. Instead of reaching for medicinal aid, Tennacus reached for the bag around Darth Viscus body, which included his Lightsaber, Holocrons and several Sith artifacts. He announced the end of Darth Viscus, and dragged his body into the open tomb where he threw him in and sealed it shut. With Darth Viscus dead, Tennacus thought himself to be the new Dark Lord of the Sith, and he and Vedum Tuul left Korriban to return to the freighter with their riches.

After the death of Darth Viscus was set in stone, Darth Tennacus took Vedum Tuul as his apprentice, believing that her recognition of Darth Viscus' methods of training and torment in them were what encouraged both Tennacus and the Force to act on removing him from power. Darth Tennacus immediately announced the Keshiri female as Darth Keen, believing that she was a wise and observant being.

For the next three years, Darth Tennacus and Darth Keen worked together to expand their knowledge and wisdom. As Keen grew wise, so did Tennacus grow wiser, training her both mentally and physically, with far more difference in the methods of training he had come to endure. While Tennacus was not abusive, he was recognisably determined, as befitting to his name. He saw only the idea of success, and he did not easily accept weakness or failure in his apprentice's training. If she was sent on an errand and returned incomplete, he would send her back out, sometimes forcing her to the other side of the Galaxy. Sometimes he would force her to engage in political matters, and sometimes he would send her to try and dispel them. Often he dreamed of vistas in accordance to the Dark Side, believing they were premonitions of Sith embedded in political matters, and that their duties as Sith were to help shape this. There had been whispers of other Sith existing in the Galaxy as they did, but Tennacus believed it to be whispers of themselves, and blamed Keen on being too open in regards to her connection to the Dark Side. If not verbally, then mentally, and being unable to hide it. Tennacus attempted to train her on how to hide her association with the Force, but she claimed that she struggled with doing so, and it continuously became a work in progress.

In the final year of Darth Tennacus' rule, he and Darth Keen went to raid a cargo vessel believed to be present with infamous Kyber Crystals. The raid did not go as planned, however, and the two were forced to retreat when they realised that they had grossly underestimated the protection. In addition, their lead was misleading, and the vessel was not present with Kyber Crystals at all. In the midst of the raid, Darth Tennacus had suffered damage to his respiratory unit, and the two retreated back to their freighter. Tennacus rushed to the medical wing to fix his machinery, discovering that the filters were all destroyed. Short of breath and struggling to maintain his composure, he received a lightsaber slash across his back which brought him to his knees. He turned to discover Darth Keen standing over him with her Lightsaber drawn, but he had not sensed her through the Force. Upon questioning her motives, Darth Keen complained about Tennacus' tenacity, stating that he was too focused on her completing her training over his ability to realise she had long accomplished it. He had lived up to his tenacious behaviour, only he had done it too well, and Darth Keen had abused his distrust in her abilities to better herself. She also claimed that the leads to the Kyber Crystals were false because she planted them, and that, too, was a reason for his downfall. Tennacus congratulated her efforts, claiming that if she could best him like this, then there was nothing else that he could teach her. As much as she judged him for his methods of thinking, she did not heed to his demand when Tennacus ordered that she deliver the final blow. She had other means for him, it appeared, but as to what her intentions were Tennacus was not immediately certain.

In his weakened state, too short of breath to even rise, Darth Keen had her former Master placed back within his cryostasis unit, but had ordered the droids in service to the Sith to detach it from the freighter's mainframe. As Tennacus laid entombed within the unit, the droids boarded him onto the Keshiri's shuttle, unbeknown to the fact that they had returned to the very moon where Tennacus was first discovered. He was placed back within the medical wing, and the droids refueled, repaired and rebooted the engine, allowing the ship to produce a stable of current of electricity which was channeled through the crashed vessel. Unknowingly, the old distress signal had rebooted in the process, once again broadcasting its message via the Sith code. Tennacus still remained oblivious to Keen's intentions, only observing the droids coming and going from within the chamber, acting out on Darth Keen's commands. Tennacus soon learned the meaning behind the whole ordeal when Darth Keen finally presented herself before him. He asked the Keshiri as to what she was doing, and she confessed that she was, in some sense, saving him. Tennacus struggled to find meaning in her actions, reminding her that it was her fate to rise above him, but the Keshiri claimed that she had already done that, and that Tennacus would come to serve a different purpose. She believed that, within his suspended animation, as well as his inability to prevent her actions due to unconsciousness, she would force her way into his mind and gradually steal all knowledge he possessed, inheriting it for herself to make her a more superior master. Tennacus did not believe that she was capable of such an action, but she quickly certified her claim, stating that she had accomplished this already through Darth Viscus, having returned to his tomb in secret to save him from death, stealing as much knowledge from him as she could before he made his final breaths. Whatever knowledge she failed to acquire, she now believed it lied within her former Master, claiming that, whilst inanimate, she could take as much time as she desired, gradually stealing his wisdom to better herself, rather than rush through it and take only estranged portions of a puzzle of thoughts she could not so easily connect. It appeared that her desire was to acquire the complete understanding of Force Essence, and how to transfer her consciousness into a talisman. Tennacus claimed that not even he had accomplished such a feat, but Keen believed that she had certain clues to the answer already, and that all was left was to take the knowledge from himself, thus completing her goal. Tennacus demanded that she not act on such a challenging accomplishment, but the cryostasis unit soon instigated its functions, forcing Darth Tennacus into a prolonged duration of suspended animation. Darth Keen ordered the droids to stay with him, ensuring everything maintained its order, claiming that she would come and go to inspect him, as well as steal his knowledge. Whatever happened to Darth Keen remains uncertain, but she never returned to that forgotten moon, and Darth Tennacus was once again lost to the ages of space. Still, his distress signal continued to broadcast on its old frequency, stretching across the stars in the hopes that someone or something would come to acquire it. Until then, Darth Tennacus remained lost.
