Appearance: A predator among prey. Hellique is large, brawny, and deadly. He towers over his enemies with a body like iron. His scales are as red as the fires of so many hells. His teeth and claws are as sharp as swords and his eyes pierce through the soul much the same. The crack of his sizable tail sounds like it can rend steel. His broad shoulders and crushing knees are covered by phrik pauldrons and poleyn. Unlike other Ssi-ruu his pelvis is covered with an armor styled similarly to his pauldrons. Hellique can often be seen with a black synth-leather cape following his gait.

Darth Hellique II, born Tena Reta, is a leper of two societies. He was rejected by both the Chistori and the Ssi-ruu as he was the product of a union between two of their people. His upbringing was harsh, raised in between two peoples who would never accept him. His relationship with his parents was strained because each saw too much of the other in him, and trouble followed him wherever he went. His arrogance and anger spawned from his intelligence and rebellious heart. He spoke up and spoke out and acted in opposition to the two societies he was both in and excluded from. He was exiled in young adulthood by both and left to find his own place in the galaxy.
His exile led him to a chance meeting with a Jedi. It was at this meeting where his force sensitivity was discovered, but his anger and disposition would not allow him to train under the Jedi. Hellique decided if they wouldn’t accept him into the traditions of the force, he would accept himself. He traveled far and wide in efforts of unlocking the mysteries of the force, the power it could give him, the secrets it would uncover, the knowledge it would bestow, and all else that would come with it.
For three decades he decoded ancient texts, uncovered lost force knowledge, and taught himself the ways of many a force tradition. His voracious appetite for knowledge and secrets caught the attention of the Sith and their many incarnations. He rose through their ranks quickly and made a name for himself as a duelist and a lorekeeper. He took the title and name Darth Hellique II in homage to lorekeepers of the past.
Like many in the Sith Order, Darth Hellique II has used the Brotherhood of the Maw to his advantage. In the destruction they cause through the galaxy Hellique reclaims and repurposes the knowledge they unwittingly unearth.
