[SIZE=11pt]Rhys was born and raised as a slave. He was raised to become an entertainment in the form of a fighter in the pits. He received training in exchange for what would be his perpetual service in a life that was not expected to be long. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]He found early success, as unknowingly to himself, he had the reflexes and different perspective that is natural with those who are force sensitive. Despite his natural gifts towards the task, he grew confident as he was revered as a champion. In multiple occasions, in his attempts to gain the favor of the crowd and his master, he would take unnecessary risks that ended up costing him, most evidently, parts of his body. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Given the fortune he would provide to those who would bet on him(like the Hutts) and his master, he would receive sponsor credits to replace the parts he would lose with cybernetic implants that would augment his body, rather than simply replace.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]After it became a sort of routine, where he would simply be fixed up, there was a disdain for danger or death that grew within Rhys. There was little that would phaze him after being so close to death so many time, and knowing that just about every part of him could be fixed.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]It lead to a complete domination of the pits, and eventually a loss of purpose. He ceased to be the entertaining champion he once was, as the thrill of the fights was no longer there, not even when confronted with improbable odds. The experience had made him a formidable fighter with bladed weaponry. He was granted freedom by his master, in exchange for becoming a trainer for the new slaves that would come in his place.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Rhys eventually grew tired of such an insignificant task, and eventually left his old master’s service. Delving into many shady underworld affairs that would require one with his skill set. He was eventually approached by an individual who was able to sense the passion and undeveloped force affinity. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Once under the service of one who proved to be a sith lord, Rhys was taught in the ways of the dark side. Although not particularly passionate towards either side of the force initially, he was just satisfied with becoming a part of something bigger. There was eventually something that called to him about the raw nature and power that it brought forth from within. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]His talent to eliminate targets eventually called the attention of another group within the Sith Empire, the Sith Assassins. The latter brought a willing Rhys under their wing to finish his training as an initiate. He received further specialized training towards the type of service he would be taking part in through the years, until he became a full fledged Sith Assassin.[/SIZE]
