PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Tezrak is a tall, leanly muscular Dathomirian Zabrak built more for relentless pressure and controlled violence than brute mass. His skin is a deep red-orange, marked by sharp black patterning across his face, chest, and shoulders. The markings are tattoos of Dathomiri heritage though thicker and bolder than usual, giving him a carved and warborn look even in stillness. A crown of four horns rings his skull, evenly spaced and close-set, framing a face defined by a hard jaw, narrowed eyes and an expression that rarely softens.

His eyes burn a yellow-green that seems to intensify when he draws on the Force or channels magick. He usually dresses in practical Dathomiri fashion: wrapped forearms, layered leather and cloth at the waist, and trophies of bone, teeth, and carved fetishes worn with purpose rather than vanity. He may travel beneath a dark hooded cloak, but he does not bury what he is beneath ornament. Even before he speaks, Tezrak gives the impression of contained danger.

INVENTORY

  • Standard Sith lightsaber
  • Dathomiri ritual fetishes, carved bone charms, and spirit-binding tokens
  • Dark hooded travel cloak
  • Layered leather and cloth combat attire
  • Assorted survival and field gear appropriate to Dathomiri travel and Sith operations

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Tezrak is controlled, observant and deliberate. He is not loud, theatrical or prone to wasteful displays of rage. He watches first, measures people carefully and acts once he has decided where pressure needs to be applied. When he speaks, he tends to do so plainly and with intent. He does not posture because he does not feel a need to prove his danger to anyone.

Though he embraced the Sith, he has not abandoned Dathomir in spirit. He respects his homeworld, its harshness, its strength and the truths it carved into him. What he rejected was not Dathomir itself, but the expectation that he should remain beneath others within it. Tezrak refuses inferiority in all forms. He believes power should belong to the one strong enough to claim, wield and keep it. He does not resent strength above him unless it demands submission without merit.

As Darth Morveth, he walks a path between Sith discipline and Dathomiri magick. He sees no contradiction in this. To him, power is power, and tradition is only worthwhile if it sharpens the will rather than shackles it.

STRENGTHS

  • Controlled Violence: Tezrak does not waste motion, energy, or intent. Once committed, he is efficient and difficult to stop.
  • Force Sensitivity: He possesses a strong connection to the Force, expressed through both Sith training and Nightsister magick.
  • Mental Discipline: He is patient, hard to provoke into recklessness, and comfortable waiting for the right moment to strike.
  • Intimidating Presence: Even without overt theatrics, Tezrak carries an oppressive and predatory stillness that unsettles others.
  • Hybrid Tradition: His grounding in Dathomiri culture and embrace of Sith philosophy allow him to approach conflict and power from angles many others would not.

WEAKNESSES

  • Refusal to Submit: Tezrak does not bend easily, even when it may be strategically wiser to do so in the short term.
  • Pride: He cannot tolerate being treated as lesser, and that can draw him into conflict he might otherwise avoid.
  • Divided Nature: His Dathomiri roots and Sith path do not always sit cleanly together, and others may exploit that tension.
  • Distrustful: He does not grant loyalty easily and often assumes hidden motives in others, which can complicate alliances.
  • Intensity: Once Tezrak decides on a course of action, he can become difficult to redirect, even when conditions change.

HISTORY

Raised among the Nightbrothers of Dathomir, Tezrak was bred for war in service to the Nightsisters. Like others of his kind, he was expected to fight, obey, and accept a place beneath the women who commanded the power of the clans. He did not hate Dathomir. He never did. He respected its brutality, its honesty, and the strength it demanded of everything that lived upon it. What he could not accept was the role laid out for him within that world.

From an early age, Tezrak learned the rhythms of command and submission, and he came to resent neither strength nor hierarchy themselves, but the certainty that he was meant to remain beneath them. He endured rather than rebelled openly, watching, learning, and waiting. Patience came more naturally to him than blind defiance.

That waiting ended when a Sith expedition came to Dathomir seeking relics and knowledge steeped in old darkness and Nightsister magick. Tezrak saw in them not merely outsiders, but an opening. He challenged one of the Sith apprentices and killed them in ritual combat, claiming the right to take their place. Rather than execute him for his insolence, the Sith recognized what Dathomir had produced: a warborn Force-sensitive with ambition, control, and no desire to remain bound to the life he had been given.

Taken from Dathomir and brought into Sith training, Tezrak embraced the Sith not as a religion, but as liberation. Where the Nightbrothers served and the Nightsisters ruled through inherited structure, the Sith offered ascent through will, strength, and cruelty refined into purpose. Over time he came to blend that philosophy with the older, stranger currents of magick that had always surrounded his people. In doing so, Tezrak ceased to be merely a Nightbrother who escaped his station.

He became Darth Morveth.
