PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Artifact

CONTENTS
  • A powerful Sith amulet, attuned to Darth Excidium, allowing him to enhance his Force power to immense levels for use with summoned illusions
  • Amulet and chain both master-crafted with expensive guerrerite ore
Strengths:
  • Illusions and Summoning: The artifact is attuned to Darth Excidium, allowing him untold control and focus when using his summoning illusions power
  • Force Power: The four (4) Qixoni crystals work in conjunction, allowing an immense enhancement to Darth Excidium's Force power, when channeling illusions and summoning power
Weaknesses:
  • Full Concentration: Darth Excidium must have complete, uninterrupted concentration to utilize the full power of the amulet
  • Lapse in Focus: Were concentration lost, due to being attacked or threatened, the sheer effort of using the amulet once means a second use without appropriate rest and recovery is impossible
  • Destructible: The amulet is made of expensive guerrerite, which is durable, but easily destroyed like other common metals
  • Limited Powers: The amulet does not work on enhancing any other abilities, only illusions and summoning
  • No Passive: Unless being concentrated and focused on fully, there are no passive or minute attributes to the amulet - it's all or nothing
  • Very Taxing: Wielding such power is physically and mentally taxing, and Darth Excidium cannot exceed twelve (12) hours of use without danger of harming himself mentally and physically
  • Recovery: Darth Excidium needs to recover his power and energy after each use, equal to the amount of time spent using the amulet
  • Attuned To One: No one else can use this amulet, it is attuned to Darth Excidium and him alone

DESCRIPTION
Darth Excidium has dedicated his life to the understanding and pursuit of Sith alchemy and the dark arts. So much so that his other attributes have suffered. His combat prowess is lacking, his physicality is weakened, and his only real strength lies in his specific discipline and Force use. After many years of honing his skills in the dark arts, Excidium has reached a point where he has put entire tomes and scrolls to perfect memory (see: Strength - eidetic memory) and has mastered many powers in the field of study. As a result, his capacity for using rituals and dark arts is higher than most, and he has sought to develop powerful artifacts to compare and rival some of the most powerful Sith Lords who also utilized such specialties.

By giving over absolute concentration and effort to the task, Darth Excidium is able to enhance his Force powers and channel them toward monumental displays of power with force illusions and summons; such as commanding armies of Force wraiths, or hordes of Sith phantasms, or dozens of Smoke Demons, or numerous Similfuturus. As he was a master of the Dark Arts, his already considerable capabilities with such illusions and summons were only made stronger through the amulet, with the four crystals assisting in enhancing those powers and Force reserves required to maintain them. However, even a brief loss of concentration would result in the powers being wielded failing, and any apparitions disappearing - not unlike other Sith Lords of the past. There was also the strain of commanding such power, with Darth Excidium requiring copious amounts of rest and recovery before attempting to utilize the amulet again.

Much to his personal annoyance, Darth Excidium found the amulet useless unless full concentration and channeling occurred. This meant the artifact was simply a decorative necklace, until such time as he began meditating and focusing. Additionally, he found his own attunement to the item to be most effective with an ore called guerrerite, which meant the amulet itself was able to be destroyed like other common metals, and rendered useless, if he wasn't careful. Yet, in the end, through his constantly expanding experience forging and creating items using the Dark Forge and alchemy lake at the Temple of Pain, Darth Excidium was proud of his efforts and hoped that one day his amulet would be considered a mighty Sith relic in the distant future, comparable to other Sith Lords of old...

channel them toward immeasurable displays of power
You can change this to impressive or some other similar descriptor, but terms such as immeasurable in this context are not permissible.
