Character Strengths
Utilitarian: Dreer has made a special study of ways to get around, and into places he shouldn't be. He can utilize Force Teleportation, Fold Space, Hyperspace Tunnel, Conjure, and other such abilities with practiced ease, even if distracted or under duress.
In The Blood: Dreer's serum-treated physiology comes with a few benefits to balance its one crippling downside. He enjoys resistance to age, poison, disease, and radiation.
Knife-Dancer: Dreer favors an alchemized Sith shortsword, designed to be light and unobtrusive while still possessing more field utility than a lightsaber. He is skilled with its use, as well as the use of other, similar weapon profiles.
Character Weaknesses
The Sickness: Due to the serum in his bloodstream, Dreer's full Force potential has been stymied. He can never hope to reach the heights of pure power that others can strive for.
Melancholic: Dreer is a historian more than a warrior, and a depressive one at that. He is not particularly proactive or quick to anger, both highly undesirable traits for a Sith, and these serve to limit his potential yet further.
Personality & Beliefs
Dreer is quiet, studious, and serious, preferring to focus on his interest of the week rather than paying any mind whatsoever to current events.
Normally, this includes history, archaeology, and naturally, Sith occultism. Dreer's efforts are almost entirely consumed with such treasure-hunting, and it is rare for him to place much interest or importance on anything else, at least for very long.
A firm believer that forgetting the lessons of the past means ugly reminders in the future, this search means everything to Dreer. He is one entirely lost to the allure of the past, caring very little for the present or especially the future.
Of course, Dreer may be a dour, atypical Sith, but he is still a Sith. Mercy and pity are unknown concepts to him, and should he be disturbed or interrupted in his expeditions, any interlopers will be shown no quarter.

The Serum
History
Dreer is, according to some, the worst Sith ever to dishonor the title of "Darth". He neither especially craves power, nor is given to violence or warmongering for their own sake.
It wasn't wrath or fear that drove the Sith archaeologist to the Dark Side. It was regret. A chronic inability to let the past go, rather than any apprehension toward the future.
Dreer's early life was consumed with a passion for discovery, one that didn't dim as he got older. Everything was forsaken in favor of this one singular obsession. Friendships dissolved, romantic entanglements were allowed to remain neglected, family threw up their hands in disgust. Mistake piled onto mistake, avenue after avenue to return to sanity was passed by. Yet, Dreer was either too cowardly or too misguided to restructure his failing life, despite being given many chances to do so. Perhaps it was simple sunk cost fallacy; perhaps it was something darker. Eventually becoming a renowned expeditionist and antiquarian at the cost of all else, he finally learned that some tombs are sealed for a reason.
Dreer's probings into Sith ruins were met with horrifying, retaliatory visions. Normally, these would serve simply to frighten the intruder off, but in Dreer they met with particularly fertile ground.
Dreer was finally gifted with a measure of perspective, enough so to pierce through his thick-headedness and into his soul. Since that moment, the archaeologist has been too trapped amidst the visions of history to care much for the here and now. His passion for stealing from the dead has not diminished; if anything, it has been lent a corrupt and terrifying focus.
