HISTORY
ORIGINS 01: PROPHECY
Born to Jedi Master Jorus Myr, a Jedi Sentinel, Halsia Myr's upbringing was steeped in the traditions of the New Jedi Order. A force-sensitive like her father, she was raised in between the halls of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, the Jakku Enclave and the Ossus Enclave to become a Jedi. Jorus saw in her a potent connection to the Force, particularly in her gift for precognition and Force visions.
In stark contrast to Mirialan beliefs of one's actions shaping one's fate, her father believed fervently her destiny was preordained due to her gift. He saw her precognition as the boon that could guide the Jedi through troubled times, foreseeing a destiny where she would play a pivotal role in shaping the galaxy's fate in peace, harmony and justice.
However, this paternal pride and ambition would sow the seeds of conflict within Halsia's heart. Despite her father's unwavering belief in her, she couldn't shake the feeling of inadequacy and the weight of her perceived destiny. The pressure to live up to Jorus' expectations weighed heavily on her, casting a shadow over her bright spirit.
ORIGINS 02: REVELATIONS
As Halsia ascended to the rank of Jedi Knight, her precognitive insights proved invaluable on the battlefield, guiding her strategies and often ensuring victory for the Jedi and the Galactic Alliance Defense Force against overwhelming odds.
However, even in the decades of peace following the Alliance's victory of the Second Great Hyperspace War, conflicts persisted. Her visions of a brighter tomorrow clashed with the harsh realities of a galaxy in an endless turmoil. The burden of her father's expectations weighed heavily on her shoulders, casting doubt on her ability to shape the future she so fervently believed in.
Hope began to falter.
ORIGINS 03: PESTILENCE AND PLAGUE
On a peacekeeping mission to the Outer Rim, she was surprised to rendezvous with her father who was on the tail of a Sith cult. As father and daughter navigated through a treacherous marsh, supported by a squad of Alliance marines, a trap was sprung by the cultists. In the heat of the ambush, Jorus found himself cornered by overwhelming odds. Fueled by dread and despair to save him, Halsia attempted to reach for the dark side, only for him to stop her. A simple gesture and a smile, before he vanished to become one with the Force.
Yet, the failure shattered her faith in her abilities. How could her visions fail her? How could she not prevent her father's demise?
ORIGINS 04: DESTINY
Consumed by grief and disillusionment, Halsia's descent into darkness began. Her failure had left her vulnerable to the insidious whispers of Darth Solipsis. Sensing her weakness, the Sith'ari exploited her grief and offered her a twisted promise: the dark side would grant her the clarity in her visions to fulfill her destiny.
In these visions manipulated by the Sith Lord, Halsia glimpsed the Sith Lord's grand design to "Correct the Great Error" and forge a new reality from the ashes of the old. With each vision, her destiny became clearer, her path irrevocably intertwined with the dark forces that sought to reshape the galaxy.
She bent the knee, submitting to his will, and from the ashes of the old, she arose as Sinestra. The instrument through which his will would be made manifest, the hand that would reshape the galaxy in his image. With her new identity, Sinestra embraced her role as the harbinger of change.

Sinestra sees herself as the chosen instrument of change in the galaxy. She is motivated by a fervent belief in her destiny to correct the "Great Error", a twisted and misguided version of her father's belief of her fate, and usher the universe into a new reality, whatever the cost.

LEGACY OF LIGHT
