Private Dark Exchange-Requiem

Long have we waited....

When I came across you, you were weak. Barely alive, no strength left in you to even lift a piece of bread. But there was something inside you, a darkness waiting to be unleashed. I should've killed, instead I brought you on board. You were broken to nothing and rebuilt to perfection and now the time has come to do what you have been trained and raised to do. Go with the strength of all the Sith and ensure that those against you will know fear in their hearts. What's about to happen, the things that are going to come forward. They will never have seen anything like it before.

It will start with the girl.

Addison Porte Addison Porte

Find her and do what you must do.

Kill her....
And so it would begin, the name of the sith knight only known by himself, but known amongst the Dark Exchange by his Sith name. Fitted to bring annihilation to the girl, and she would indeed know fear for the short time she would live.

"Location confirmed, en route back to Naboo....." The low voice of the Knight speaking menacingly through the comms. "We should just throw everything at them right now, Kill the girl before she arrives and finish the rest of the family." The voice of his Master echoing through his mind as he strained somewhat. The voice a seemingly blessing but also a curse. He grunted through gritted teeth slightly, the unseen pain arching through the Sith was unbearable. He slammed his hand down on the console then tapped the side button device to bring her vessel out of hyperspace

He could sense her, feel her goodness. That would be made hollow soon....

A lone tear was driving down the cheek of the Sith Knight. The pain becoming to much at times, and it did overwhelm him, he would do this. And he would be rewarded greatly, and the pain would cease just as he promised it would.

The vessel in sight, the Knights fighter shot forward and launched two torpedo missiles towards her vessel. "No fool, the point is to break her. Damage the shuttle and force her to land." The vessel shot after Addison's fighter. Looking to bring her down for good.

Surrender yourself girl....

Somewhere in transit between Coruscant and Naboo...

Addison Porte's danger senses flared a moment before her X-wing abruptly decanted to real space, and not by her hand.

The Jedi Padawan's brown hazel eyes immediately shot wide open as she came out of a light meditative trance used while traveling long distances through hyperspace in her single-occupant starfighter.

"What the....!"

Now, this had never happened to the young ace pilot before. Something was amiss.

A warning warble came from Addy's astromech droid that directly correlated with the two proton torpedoes inbound on her six and closing fast. There wasn't time to ask hard questions like who and why she was being attacked, but definitely it had been a well-planned ambush.

The Taanabian reacted by sending her modified Jedi T-85 X-wing into a series of evasive maneuvers, juking and jiving while releasing chaff countermeasures to hopefully confuse the dual warheads.

Before Addison could smile at the early detonation of the missiles, her X-wing jolted forward from the force of the blast. The instruments indicated heavy damage to her aft shield.

"Frak! Gizzy, get me a lock on that ship."

The R9 unit beeped as if he was saying 'I'm already on it. He's mine!'

Tinks normally would have a retort for him, but not today. The odds of them making it out of this furball were slim to none if she didn't get the upper hand here pronto.

Surrender yourself girl....

A menacing voice full of searing hot rage and the icy cold oiliness that could only be a product of the dark side called out to her. It sent chills down her spine as it should, but Addy just ignored the fearmongering and leaned more into her long hours of training and experience.

She inverted her snubfighter and dove, then pulled back on the stick to power up through a teardrop and onto the Darksider's tail.

"You first, nerfhearder... And I can assure you I am no girl.

With that said, Addy simultaneously triggered her quad lasers after getting a solid tone; precision firing on the assailant's ship with the hope of ending this dance right here, right now.

It would've been disappointing to see that this would've been so easy. However the girl maneuvered herself out of the predicament she was in. The alarms on his vessel began to go off as she was now on the attack and he was forced to defend.

Not for long though.....

"Deploy seismic charge......" The Knight only had two of those available, if she was as good as she appeared. This wouldn't phase her, but deliver her directly into his hands. The Sith fingers ran along the console ever so quickly as he scanned the planet below. Which was Seltos, it would be a perfect place. Neither Alliance nor Sith, perfect enough to serve as tomb for the Porte girl.

Surrender yourself.....

He repeated over and over, his voice menacingly echoing through her mind in attempt to distract her. "Shields up....." He smirked as closed his eyes and laughed as he began to harness the dark energy of the force, his energy directed at port side of her vessel. Looking to cause some damage to her wing. If anything, at the very least force her to land a little bit later than he intended.

She has a strength to her, it was a pity she was to die.

"Go frak yourself," the chocolate-haired Porte snarked under her breath to the dark voice.

Addison's danger senses flared once again, well more like screamed at her. She only had a moment to react before the seismic charge went off.

The X-wing's shields were already fully up thankfully but they would not save her by themselves. The young Jedi threw up a Force Shield around her ship and simultaneously dove planet wise pushing the starfighter past its maximum speeds in hopes of surviving the initial blast wave.

Course, that wasn't good for the structural integrity either especially with the S-foils still in their open position, but at least she didn't disintegrate instantly.

"Gizmo... Send out a mayday on all channels with our coordinates. I have to put us down on that planet, and it won't be pretty either."

The blue and silver R9 unit responded with a beep saying he had faith in her. She should too.

"Thanks, buddy. I needed that."

Addison tried to stay calm and keep a clear head, but it was hard as their situation was dire... Strike foils wouldn't close, the portside engine was blown, the rudder controls weren't responding, and shields were gone.

The snubfighter shuddered violently as it came down through the atmosphere. The ace pilot was augmenting the tenuous flight path with the Force best she could. There were mountains and forested areas everywhere in sight. This was going to hurt no matter what. Not to mention there was still a dark sider out there somewhere wanting her dead it seemed... but why?!

She sent out an urgent call to her twin through their strong Force bond. Hope was all Addison had at this point that Aiden Porte Aiden Porte would get her message and know what it meant.

"Eject, Gizzy! Eject!," Addy yelled to her astromech droid right before the X-wing clipped the tree line. She wrapped a Force Bubble around herself in the cockpit like a cacoon as the ship was torn apart coming down through the trees onto the forest floor in pieces...

Then everything went black.

She's got a mouth on her it seems.

Raumil smirked as they descended into the atmosphere and things were working in his favor as she clipped the tree and a small fire started and vessel hit the ground. It wasn't but a few moments later that his vessel touched down near hers and the Sith climbed out.

"It is now time." Raumil whispered as his hand reached for his lightsaber and held it firmly in his hand. He approached the wreckage and he could hear the sounds of a droid in the distance, However it could do nothing to stop him. He let out a small groan as the pain that was afflicting him, affected him so much more now. The closer he got the more the pain intensified and soon it would be gone. She was on her stomach on the ground and he let out a small gasp as he leaned down and turned her over. His lightsaber igniting, the red blade raising up as he was looking to plunge it into her heart.

Something happened as he turned her over. The pain, voices, lashes of pain against his mind they stopped. He took a deep shuddered breath as it was almost overwhelming for him. He stood up away from her as he took another shuddered deep breath. He closed his eyes and took another deep breath as he opened them and he looked up to the sky. His breathing became more easy and he looked back to her and a small tear escaped his eye as he looked up towards the sky. Everything that he had look forward to was now coming to a close.

Pain, she would feel the pain.....

He looked back down towards her, the darkness closing in on her. He held a hand over her mouth as he plunged the saber directly into her chest, no sound or scream would come from her.

Just darkness.

The white light before her was so... inviting and comforting. It was warm and gave off a sense of serenity.

In the distant shadows, there were visions of what appeared to be ghostly people who beaconed to Addison in what could only be called a welcoming manner. She moved closer to them as if walking on air, then a lone person pushed their way to the forefront and waved the young Porte off as if danger was present.

There was something familiar about the older man... It was Jedi Master Tiberias Jinn or Uncle Jinn to her and Aiden. He had been their father's master, who had died several years back under mysterious circumstances.

Wait... Was she dead?

Then, another scenario came to be as if she had simply switched the channel on the holo screen to a different drama program. What was going on?!

The heat of near flames brought the starfighter pilot out of a state of unconsciousness; clearly a blessing initially after a horrific crash landing through a stand of trees. Years of training though finally kicked in and her flight or fight instincts took over despite feeling like she had just gotten run over by a herd of bantha and thrown into a Sarlacc pit.

Releasing the crashwebbing was easy, but the mangled transparisteel canopy didn't want to open. A bit of panic set in as fire was creeping ever closer to the cockpit and the spilled fuel dripping from an engine. She gathered the Force and pushed hard until the canopy finally gave way, then the young brunette quickly exited over the side into a heap upon the mossy and rooted forest floor face down.

OUCH!

That's when Addy heard a ship flying overhead, then the tale-tell sound of engines in their landing mode. The padawan tried to summon the Force once again to give her more strength to move her injured body, but it seemed to not respond. The warmth normally it gave her was replaced with only a coldness, chilling in fact especially as footsteps grew closer, then came the pain, not so much physical but mental anguish imparted upon her being in a purposeful manner it seemed.

Father help me...

Her body was flipped over without care by a menacing large figure. His glowing yellow eyes told Addison all she needed to know. SITH. She wanted to fight him because giving up was not in her mantra, but it was too late. He knelt down and covered her mouth in one swell swoop, then proceeded to stab her with his red-bladed saber right through the heart...

Suddenly the tunnel of illumination became very narrow and the unsettling scene disappeared as Addison was plunged back into complete darkness. A few moments later or so the young woman soon found herself gasping for breath as her eyes fluttered open in a startled state...

Then, a terror-driven strangled scream left her lips as she sat straight bolt upright in bed clutching her chest.

"It's quiet."

"The deep breath before the plunge."

"Sir?"

The Jedi Master shook his head and showed a small smile that he exchanged with one of the many Alliance In Exile personnel that had opted to follow him through the toughest of times. And the times here were definitely tough, not financially or anything of that sort. There was a darkness that had blanketed Naboo it seemed. The Jedi Masters gaze and aura had been fixated here on Naboo and was not going anywhere any time soon. Kahne had taken to many sleepless nights as he stood watch over the homestead, patrols had been garrisoned around their home.

"Get some rest my friend. I will be up the remainder of the night. The other four can split the next shift. You look tired."

"Yes sir, may the force be with you."

Kahne smiled and he bowed his head towards him as he walked off towards the barracks of sorts that was set up for them.

The Jedi took a deep breath as he looked up towards the sky, stars had shined brightly and his family slept easy or so he thought. The Jedi's brow furrowed as he glanced back towards the house as he felt a small chill creep up his spine. His eyes narrowed slightly as he turned in the direction of the house and right when he did he heard the scream emit from inside. From his daughter, and it was something he never wanted to hear again. For all his strength, light and hope. That scream in itself did scare him....

It was his little girl, Addison Porte Addison Porte

He sprinted back to the house moving quickly towards the room as the door to her room sprung open quickly and he moved to her side.

"Addison!." Kahne spoke as his hand rose to the side of her face. "Hey, it's okay. It was just a dream." His hand that was at the side of her face moved over to her forehead. While she might have found this annoying as she was no longer a little girl, to him she would always be. He would give his life than ever want to see anything happen to her.

He pulled her into a hug as he let out a small sigh of relief. "Just breath sweetheart, everything is going to be okay."

"Daddy!" the young brunette blurted out, tears streaming down her face as the Jedi Master took his daughter into a comforting embrace. He used to do this same thing when she was a little girl usually scared of the monsters under the bed or in the closet.

Addison blew out a stuttered breath trying to steady herself, but she was still very rattled by the perceived events. Pulling back, the Jedi Padawan wiped the tears from her face with the back of her hands, then her hazel brown eyes met her father's blue.

"That's just it, Dad... I swear it wasn't a dream, but a living nightmare, well two actually or maybe a continuation. I don't know... Each one seemed so vivid and real," Addy expressed as a chilled shudder ran down her back remembering the Sith's menacing yellow eyes, his voice, and the pain evoked.

"They both involved the dark side and a Sith... erm I died. Is everyone alright? Mom, Aiden... "

Kahne listened to her clearly as she spoke as he held her hands together and gave them a gentle squeeze.

"Everyone is okay. Your mom, Aiden they are all okay. I promise." He said as he leaned in and placed a kiss on her forehead. "Your not dead, your actually very alive. I could hear you snoring from outside." Kahne said with a small chuckle, trying to give her a laugh and divert her attention for a few seconds.

"It's going to be okay kiddo." He rubbed the sides of her arms before he pulled her into another hug.

"Dreams have many different meanings. Sometimes they can be a desire or something that you are afraid of." Kahne sat on the side of the bed as he looked at her. "Have you ever had these dreams before? In particular this evil presence or the wave of darkness?" Kahne inquired, if this was her first one, then this dark presence that now had come for Aiden would now be coming for her.

Kahne would not allow it. He had been passive long enough, it was time to confront this darkness. And he would have to prepare her for it.

The Jedi Master knew, that he wouldn't be here forever.
