Da'Razel
St. Peterius

Da'Razel
Age: 26
Species: Devaronian
Gender: Male
Height: 6'8" (2.03 meters)
Weight: 285 lbs (129 kg)
Force Sensitive: Yes
DESCRIPTION - PHYSCIAL
Da'Razel is a towering, broad-shouldered figure one that exudes a powerful yet unsettling symmetry. His frame is tall and elongated, with long limbs, thick calves and a barrel-like chest suggest a raw, bearish strength. This imposing build is offset by a rigid, upright posture, mirrored in every movement he makes each one executed with eerie grace and almost obsessive precision.
The Devaronian bears the core traits of his species: the light red hue of his rugged, almost leathery skin, and the horn-like protrusions atop his forehead.
His own pair once long and curling like those of most males have been sawed and filed down into stubby spikes, mimicking Zabraki cranial structures or even the ancient tusks of Sith Purebloods. A ritualistic disfigurement, shaped to bring him "closer to the divine."
His body is marked by long, bladed stretches of scar tissue, puncture wounds, and most prominently patches of burn-scarred flesh, especially along his forearms, shoulders, and the backs of his hands. A body tempered with remnants of past pyrokinetic outbursts and self-inflicted rites of devotion.
The darksider's fingers are claw-like, with nails deliberately filed and sharpened to echo his horn modifications maintained with a meticulous, obsessive devotion to detail.
DESCRIPTION - ATTIRE
Da'Razel is almost exclusively clad in the vestments of the Church: heavy, dark red mantles and layered ceremonial robes, hoods that shadow his features, and cloths that drape over his imposing frame. His garments and pouches jingle softly with prayer beads, talismans, relics, and tempered chains each a symbol of devotion and doctrine. When appearing before Loyalist remnants or formal congregations, his skin is painted in deeper shades of crimson, heightening the illusion of a Sith icon reborn in flesh.
His visage is concealed behind an ever-changing array of masks and helmets, each crafted to obscure his Devaronian heritage and erase any trace of personal identity.
This act of concealment is not merely ceremonial it is tactical.
Da'Razel is an instrument of the Church, trained as a covert operative. He must be able to move undetected among the Church's enemies, concealing both origin and allegiance. To him, identity is not a right, it is a mask, to be discarded or donned at the will of his masters.
In battle, Da'Razel is clad in segmented heavy armor forged from durasteel, agrinium, and inlaid with refined aurodium filigree, its surface polished to a dark golden sheen and engraved with etched runes and red pulsating energy veins.
Each plate a prayer given form. Not just forged, but anointed. Armour but more than armour, liturgy made iron, a shrine in motion.
While his upper torso, shoulders, arms, and head are heavily reinforced, he deliberately opts for lighter protection or flexible mesh across his lower abdomen and legs, allowing for greater agility and unpredictable movement in combat.
Scorch-marks from previous engagements are often left unpolished, his pain worn proudly as a mark of divine favor.
INVENTORY
– Scriptures: A bound collection of scorched vellum scrolls and flimsiplast pages containing sacred chants, Sith parables, and Church doctrine. Often used in ritual and battlefield invocation.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Da'Raze operates in a state of near-perpetual religious trance and focused calm. His voice is low, melodic, and deliberate rarely rising above a liturgical cadence.
However, this serene control is deceptive and fragile.
Under emotional stress or in the presence of ideological opposition, profound internal friction emerges. When triggered, Da'Razel transforms into a volatile maniac, unleashing violent pyrokinetic meltdowns that consume friend and foe alike.
These emotional extremes are regarded by the Church as part of this asset's arsenal, a volatile instrument of divine wrath. Considerable resources are dedicated to his spiritual governance, including strict containment protocols and post-battle sanctification procedures to restore his composure and prevent collateral desecration.
He speaks primarily in Sith, the liturgical tongue of the Church, and is known to recite scripture mid-conversation. Despite his theological obsession, he is a practiced linguist and fluent in High Galactic, Imperial Basic, Bastion Standard, and Tetan dialects, allowing him to infiltrate or operate within hostile populations.
He suffers deeply from species dysphoria, a near-religious rejection of his Devaronian heritage. His self-image is defined by reverence for Sith icons, especially Zabrak warriors, Sith Purebloods, and the mythic Sithari ideal. His lifelong aspiration to transcend his flesh and become flame incarnate, a vessel of the Dark Will.
He honors the modern Sith as divine figures, champions of the Second Great Hyperspace War and the Core Wars, whose apocalyptic campaigns have elevated them to sainthood within the Dark pantheon.
The holiest of these deities include Darth Solipsis, Darth Carnifex, and Darth Mori. Battlefield legends whose names have become sacred in the aftermath of the wars such as Khamul, Tu'teggacha, and renowned Sith Lords like Darth Empyrean, Darth Ophidia, and Darth Prazutis.
This worship extends beyond individual Sith to the greater forces they served: the Final Dawn, the Mawite Avatars, and all dark manifestations that burned through the galaxy in prophecy's name.
Each is honored in daily rites, whispered prayers, and battlefield chants, some of which invoke their names directly before Da'Raze sets the world aflame.
STRENGTHS
– Fanatical Resolve: Da'Raze is nearly immune to doubt or fear, his will fortified by divine certainty.
– Flameborne Gift: A naturally attuned pyrokinetic, capable of unleashing both wide-area infernos and precise thermal strikes with refined control.
– Cult Polyglot: Fluent in multiple regional dialects across fallen Imperial space, aiding infiltration, persuasion, and intelligence gathering.
– Sanctified Operative: Trained as a covert agent of the Church, Da'Razel can blend into hostile environments, maintain his cover under pressure, and endure interrogation or pain with unnatural calm.
WEAKNESSES
– Overconfident: Believes himself a chosen vessel, often underestimating opponents or overextending himself in battle.
– Doctrinal Naivety: Shows blind trust toward figures of religious authority, making him susceptible to manipulation by those who claim divine legitimacy.
– Emotional Meltdowns: Despite spiritual training, emotional spikes can trigger massive and uncontrollable outbursts.
– Faithlock: Requires structured rituals and prayer to maintain spiritual clarity. Prolonged disruption weakens his mental clarity and Force connection.
HISTORY
Born in 876 ABY on Devaron, just before the chaotic dawn of the Second Great Hyperspace War, Da'Razel never knew peace. His homeworld, caught between collapsing Empires and rising Dark Side sects, was swept up in fringe Mawite-aligned raiding campaigns. As an infant, his family was captured and processed by a slave-transporting cult.
During routine scans, his latent Force potential was discovered, marking him as a candidate for indoctrination. He was separated from his family and rerouted to Gehinnom, a hellish worldship in the Maw, partially controlled by the Church of the Dark Side. There, he was subjected to a regime of experimentation, punishment, and doctrinal conditioning.
At the age of six, Da'Razel set fire to a training overseer during a fit of rage, an outburst that marked him as both dangerous and valuable. A ranking cultist, present on a spiritual pilgrimage, claimed the child as a sacred asset and brought him into the Church's deeper ranks on Bastion. Raised as the foster son of this Magistrate, Da'Razel underwent a distorted but intensive indoctrination: sacred prayer cycles, warped Sith history, prophetic scripture, and martial instruction from Darksiders who would later serve under the Dark Side Elite.
His pyrokinetic abilities matured at an alarming rate and soon became as much a part of his identity as his name. By the age of twelve, his fire rituals were public spectacle. By fifteen, he was known as Saint Peterius, a reincarnated martyr believed to protect the faithful through divine flame.
With the collapse of Final Dawn and the defeat of allied Sith forces, Da'Razel and a remnant of the Church's leadership fled into seclusion. For five years, they drifted aboard cloaked pilgrimage vessels, avoiding Republic, Jedi, and New Imperial detection. They operated as spiritual couriers, linking scattered dark enclaves, spreading prophecy, and rekindling lost faith across the shattered remnants of the Empire.
This exile ended with the rise of Operation Cinder, which Da'Razel viewed as a sacred rebirth, a storm of divine fire summoned to purge a corrupted galaxy. Alongside other loyalists, the Church returned to the stars, no longer hiding, but igniting flame in the name of the True Emperor.
