Asherah
Character
It was interesting, listening to the way they both spoke. Finding the things they thought were important and the things they took for granted. She was curious as to what was individual quirks and what was the norm for the rest of the galaxy. Or at least humans. For that matter, were they both humans? Weren't there several species that looked similar but were subtly different? And given the number of planets humans now inhabited, there was no saying that any two humans were similar either. If the same species of fish lived in different places for long enough, they evolved, if only slightly, until they could hardly be said to be the same! Ah, but it was exciting being out and about.
All this ran through her mind as she listened politely, nodding occasionally and resisting the urge to scratch already drying skin. Very little was improved by picking at it. This was some of the most basic medical knowledge, often yelled at younglings.
"I do not think there is anything I need, though I appreciate the offer, and you are very correct. This is the only world other than Morje I have ever been on and it is.. trying. Beautiful in it's own way of couse." Probably, to someone. Not her, but that would be quite rude to say. Plus perhaps there was a nice part somewhere, and she just hadn't seen it. "I would accept the ride, but I believe I will leave with.. him, when he leaves. I do not know either of your names. Is it rude to ask?"
It might be. Who really knew? In any case, his habit of moving where he was needed most sounded appealing, and a good way to see many moons while still fulfilling her purpose. Plus this Denon surely couldn't be much worse than this planet, right?
This talk of cybernetics were interesting. It was quite definitely a technology word, and the woman had one in her head? Had she needed to have one put in there for health reasons, or just chosen to do so? Imagine if she'd chosen! Having ones head cut open on a whim! Unless that wasn't where her brain was located, but her basic form was so similar to Asherahs that the Kraljican had just assumed...
