Ever since the formation of the Wild Space Rebellion, logistical needs of the Wild Space worlds has been a key problem for the people of that area. The solution, was Dai Star. Derived from the Cathar word for "Five", it's name comes from the five stars of it's primary hub locations, a network that spans the Mid-rim.
RATIONALE
Si Tech's formation of Dai Star began with the creation of Mi'Jeka Class, originally designed as part of the Galactic Alliance's logistical fleet. The Fall of the Alliance led to the small fleet of superfreighters to be recalled to the Si Tech parent company, which then fled to the Mid Rim, only to expand. First, with the Maclunkee Class, then The Acree Class, and finally the purchase of the license for production of both the Mynock Class and Golem Class. The Si Tech Logistics fleet eventually grew to the point where Jonyna and Rara felt confident enough to start up a new subsidiary, Dai Star.
Now, it acts as an independent shipping company across the mid-rim and beyond, designed to ship anything and everything from materials, to war supplies, to medical supplies.
So long as the pay is good, and the people pass a background check.
