Strengths:

• 
  Weapon Changes: The Dagger III is now equipped with CQC weaponry, and has decreased her overall turbolaser compliment and increased the ion cannons.
  
• 
  No Missiles: Still equipped with her missile deactivation transmitter, as well as a compliment of chaffs and flares the Dagger III does her best to keep missiles away from her frame.
  

Weaknesses:

• 
  Vulnerable: Still vulnerable to overwhelming fire, and ion/emp damage the Dagger III can still be sent to her grave instantly.
  
• 
  Range: The Dagger III's firing range is limited to that of standard, leaving her unable to defend herself or her escorts from long range fire. Her new Raptor ACES guns are part of this problem, having shaved off guns from the Dagger II design in favor of the short range game.
  
• 
  Gaps: Having shelved some of her standard range weaponry in favor of short range, this also now leaves the Dagger III with gaps in her firing arc providing opportunity to the daring pilots sent to engage her.
  

Description: Far below on the desert world of Zonju V, Fiolette Yvarro rolled out the new plans for her Imperial shipline. Starting with the Dagger III, her mission profile as a Destroyer Escort would remain only now she no longer would perform for the First Imperials. No, now the Dagger III would be available to fly for another, or several others as she would now become mass produced at the upcoming Chedelka Station as well as Dxun (a newly acquired site) and the soon to be Persephone Station that will be placed within spitting distance of Kwenn Station.

Upon the completion of the VSS (Victorian Space Ship) Dagger there was a small bit of pride from Fiolette. Watching as the ship she once built for Imperials, now flew under new colors. It was hard to leave behind the life she once knew but in the day of the Great Galactic War. Independence was something Fiolette held onto with a ferocity. There was no Grand Admiral to answer to, no Engineering Board, just her and her staff which included Raleigh Montague and Kit Galeway two of her most trusted officers and designers.

The VSS Dagger would be launched from Zonju V’s newly built Majel Shipyards.
