Daemon Recruits

The woman before him would both find that when it came to hand to hand, close quarters, he was rusty - but had spent a century mastering several dozen styles of martial arts. Many unheard of, or forgotten by this point. Hence when kick toward his private areas came, hardly more then a slide of one leg backward made it swing through open air, and nothing more.

Then, with a flourish, he spun the massive blade about in a large flowing show of skill, resulting in the sheath of the blade soaring away. As it did, even he, master of the mentalist arts, instantly felt the Force Fear touch against his peripheral. It simply was that powerful. He had made it so that its power was not even halted by himself. There were some ways to defend against such, like the Twilek and her employment of Teras Kasi, a skill he employed much the same as a Non Force User so long ago.

But instead of the Fear halting his movement, it was quickly absorbed, utilized, flowing into his very core. At that he lunged forward, swinging the flat of his blade at Kalis' ribcage. Sonorous stood to far away, intelligently gauging her opponent, keeping him at bay.

The sure headed mechanic would be his first student. She would learn that no attack landed unless allowed, through foolish mistake or otherwise. That her worth was in worth, not reputation, or family.

Kalis rolled and dodged.
She wasn't one of the 3 sisters she spent her whole life fixing ships and droids she wasn't a fighter she was a flaky weird inventor who liked to lock herself in her room and build death stars. sure she could take a beating and even deliver one. but what was the point of this?
" look at me i can fight you all with both no hands behind my back," yet again stupid posturing.

"[member="Damien Daemon"] im pregnant and you're the father." she yelled.

If there was one thing that annoyed Deneve it was trying to train those that obviously didn't have any desire to train.

She had heard from her sources that her husband had brought two new recruits into his clan and was training them. Thus she had deemed it fit for her to pay him a visit. Though, her timing just so happened to be when the girl that was obviously not taking training seriously proclaimed she was pregnant with her husband's child. A soft chuckle slid past the woman's lips, Hazel hues taking over the girls form before sliding to her husband, an amused smile playing upon her lips.

"Darling.. Is there something you forgot to tell me?" Soft spoken words slipped forth from painted lips.

If anything she knew her husband had standards and tom-boys weren't exactly his preference. Stepping forward, she moved to lean against a nearby wall, her form reeking of the dark side . Glancing down at her nails, she would allow her eyes to then come and rest upon the other recruit, a nod of acknowledgement causing the, gems woven into her hair to shimmer slightly.

Damien chuckled, sensing his woman as she approached. When she leaned against the wall, he moved like lightning, swooping in to wraps his arms around her torso from behind. The girls would likely think cause he loved her and wished to hold her - which was entirely true, whole heartedly. But it wasn't the reason. She might kill them. He knew that.

Placing a kiss against her neck teasingly, he spoke softly, "Now, now. Let's not play mines darker babe." Another kiss, closer to her ear lobe, "And no, we both know I only have eyes for one woman." Another kiss, with a soft tug of suction, enough to leave a red mark, some called hickies, "Please don't kill her love. She's young, dumb and... well you get the idea."

At that he went forward grabbed Tantibus and sheathed the blade, "On second thought, that is a bit much for starter. Come at me, learn to read movements. All I will do is attempt to dodge as much as I can. Don't worry about hurting me either. It is more then simple for me to rectify even a deadly mistake."

" look i can brawl if need be but im a builder a mechanic. all your doing is proving what i'll tell you for free. i make stuff, stuff that goes boom stuff that goes vroom or pew pew or shnikt but im useless in a fight. i cam build a blaster just not fire one properly. i know i know not much of a mando i get it."
she admitted.

Sonorous had spent the last minute or so circling the Meran mechanic and her 'Alor in a wide circle, observing first and reading both combatants very carefully. Her 'Alor had an immensely deep and powerful connection to the Dark Side - that was for sure: a worthy and fearsome opponent for any Mandalorian on any day, regardless of what they happened to think of the Force. As for the mechanic, her bravado was refreshing. To be certain, although Mandalorians shared one essential culture, she'd also read that there was a wide spread of personalities within and across the clans. It was an interesting sight to see someone seemingly so Cynical (Capital "S") and detached from combat, apparently absent of the frenzy that got a lot of clansmen killed like dogs without a doubt - she was a mechanic, and she never let her mind stray from that one singular purpose. She'd learn from that as well.

Finally, her rear foot pushed off the ground beneath her, propelling her forward as she took a huge leap into the air from her Alor's right flank. One of her hands pulled away from the assault blade in her hand, letting the one hand left on its hilt point it forward as the now-free one balanced her off as she came down on the Anzati in a flash, but devoid of that intent to kill - no need for that here; even her assault blade was only set to the lowest setting under "stun". These first precious moments with others in the clan were more introductory, and she herself was more adamant on getting a "feel" of learning how to fight without her previous dependence on her Force Sensitivity. It felt strange, but thrilling.

Kami had been bullied in the agogi lone enough to know when some one was behind her. this wasn't a combat thing it was a " playground rules." thing she spun letting [member="Sonorous Daemon"] pass.
" seriously? she needs training [member="Damien Daemon"] I am not a combatant im a Mechanic. you want a custom beska and Phrik droid with 57 lightsabers that's 100 meters tall. want a YT1300 turned in to a tank? im your girl. fire a blaster in the middle of a warzone? only if it is to test ir for function. "

"Then why attempt to remain in the Clans? I am believing now that your last Clan was not in any sense of the word, Mandalorian. Working for the Manda, being our lackeys, building our tools? These are not a requirement of any Clansman, except for themselves. Which by the by, tends to be the goal of every Mandalorian - garnering their own gear, by hand." Damien called, threading feet backwards in swift but careful footing, the tip of the vibroblade narrowly missing his chest as he did so. Going up against an opponent, unarmed, while trying to talk to a child was difficult.

"I am going to bring this up with the Manda'lor at this rate. Why let a people believe they are Manda, that they have a Clan, if they cannot uphold the resol'nare?" He called out, "Honestly, if you are not willing to take this seriously, to become a true Daemon, like Sono, than I do not need you in my Clan." Damien said, then he flipped through the air, his enhanced muscles nimbly landing him behind Sono.

"You must decide. Will you uphold the beliefs system of our people? I am not one so adamantly biased toward it, but I also know that we are a warrior culture! Children are taught to fight." He said, "So, learn to adapt, or resign from this training."

((Damien is hardcore lol. If you don't adapt, he will legitimately not what you around, let alone in his Clan. Its not like he is asking for you to become a God amongst men. Just for her to be able to defend herself.))

A quick pivot on the balls of her feet and a subtle weight shift let Sonorous make a full 180 turn in the blink of an eye, immediately following up with a wide, upward swing of her assault blade. The movement was crisp, form-perfect and robust as expected of someone who had just freshly mastered the forms, but ultimately that was their weakness - to someone who'd taken the time to read through the Jakelian and Teras Kasi war manuals, they were almost too predicable. Thankfully those who bothered were few and far between, but Sonorous' own style had yet to blossom - a work in progress in its fetal stages, to be sure. She had a long way to go.

For the forms' mastery's sake however, this was sufficient for now. She could follow her Alor around, constantly dishing out a flurrying combination of off-angle strikes, thrusts, slashes, cuts and at times extremely fine "pinpricks" with her assault blade, constantly shifting her line of attack from a straight, direct vector to circling around him, and then back again. It was a tactic that would come to define her later on.

"You know [member="Kalis Affassa"]", she managed to spit out as she kept the offensive, "a 57-lightsaber remote droid don't sound so bad."

Just as she finished however, she quickly found herself flipped and thrown to the ground with the mechanic's legs around her neck. Instantly the Jakelian kicked back into overdrive, and Sonorous' assault blade quickly slashed downward against the back of Kalis' knees.

Kalis leaned back as though she was drunk letting the blade miss.
swaying as though she was drunk.
" Meran has no real structure no real roots or code we all develope instinctive personal styles. this is mine."
she shyly admitted feeling embarrassed.

Damien leaped backward, avoiding all blows coming his way for now, watching as they began to fight.

This was potentially a good thing, making those of like skill sets fight. He had always been thrust against much more powerful opponents however, hence his skills being so powerful.

He walked back toward his wife, again eyeing her to see how she was reacting. She had been quiet.

((Let's make sure to not auto hit guys. Its a no no. Saying, "She flipped and kicked Damien in the face," is against rules, but "flipped and aimed a kick at Damien's face," is not))

[member="Damien Daemon"] ( i tend to fight npc's and drunken kung-fu is kind if Kalis's style.)

she admitted letting [member="Sonorous Daemon"] unleash a barrabe of kicks and punches she rolled with.

"Where'd you learn that?", Sonorous asked with a perplexed laugh as she pulled her own feet up, and then kicked herself back up onto them. Then returning to a combative stance but assuming a more reserved, defensive posture, she raised her assault blade again. "I haven't been thrown like that in a while, that's for sure", she said with a smile and coughing a little. "Not going to let that happen again, Kalis."

Sonorous then removed her jacket, leaving her in her singlet, utility trousers and utility boots.

Hazel hues took all that was going on before her in. Studying both the females before her, she would tilt her head to the side, her gaze soon traveling towards her husband as he once again approached her.

A simple of touching of minds was all she needed in order to communicate. "Seems one of them needs a lot of work darling.." Was all she murmured before her gaze flicked to the second female, a brief look of approval dancing across her features. Being the daughter of the Warmaster and the WarMarshal for the Crusaders gave her plenty of training when it came to the art of combat. So when she saw someone actually trying it pleased her immensely.

"Perhaps I should of attempted to recruit her to the Verd's.. " She would murmur softly, a teasing tone lacing her words before she would reach out and brush a hand over her beloved's cheek.

Damien chuckled, "Now, now, your people already outnumber mine own 6 to 1. More so would be an abominable thing." A grin laced his face, showing he looked forward to her response. Getting a rise was always a fun thing, "Say, babe, since we can see the mechanic has some skill, and she neednt much, why not spar with Sono?" His own eyes flashed toward the beautiful woman that was the mother to his children.

The woman who would eventually bear yet another, if what Axel said is true.

"Unless you're scared of her?"

Stopping to let [member="Sonorous Daemon"] get a breath. Kalis approached her new Alor.
" i hope you don't mind. bit i have taken liberty to sketch a crude design as i couldn't help but note the force thingyness. "

Sonorous said nothing as she kept observing the other three from a safe distance. She felt tense, but she'd read time and time again that it was little more than a natural hormonal response to generally life-threatening situations - a rush, a light-headed feeling. It was a little mental note she told herself over and over as she waited for the feeling to pass and the anxiety to subside. Many liked to remark that her bookishness would be the end of her, but she always believed that more knowledge was always a good thing, so long as it was the kind you'd use, and knew how to use.

The wiry, lean and toned Twi'lek, now sweating, slowed her breathing down again as she expected another attack from one of the three - no doubt the added stimuli made it a little harder for her to anticipate. Teras Kasi was good, but it took a while to master.

Her now shiny, red skin seemed to glitter in the Kashyyk sun as she held her assault blade in front of her in a low defensive stance. Sonorous' foot placement in her stance also widened as she lowered her torso, extending her center of gravity and rooting herself more heavily to the ground. A quick simulation runthrough and string of calculations in her head, and then a void where it all once was seconds after. She was ready.
