SPECIES DAEDRA
SYSTEM RECOGNITION: INFERNAL ENTITY DETECTED
Out of Character Information • • •
INTENT ........
[ This submission seeks to introduce the Daedra—a daemonic species for my character—as an adaptive, hyper-predatory sentient species meant to inject atmosphere, danger, and lore. Spat from the chaotic fractures of the Force, they are intended to populate the galaxy’s most hazardous environments—a tool for exploring themes of survival, biological horror, and primal terrors. ]

STRENGTHS ✧ [ Apportation ] ✧ [ Hell-Fire Manipulation ] ✧ [ Hypnotic Fragrance ] ✧ [ Infernalized ] ✧ [ Mesmerizing Presence ] ✧ [ Pain Incarnate ] ✧ [ Regenerative Healing Factor ] A violent, systemic recursive assembly, their blood contains hyper-active progenitor cells that act as a "liquid blueprint." Cells flash-replicate, forming a translucent, gelatinous lattice across the wound site. Muscle fibers and neural pathways then begin to thread themselves back together. An undulating process where the tissue appears to writhe and knit with mechanical precision. As the new tissue fills the void, the Daedra’s metabolism redirects caloric reserve to the area. ✧ [ Unholy Blessings ] Manifesting as "dark miracles" that seem to , on the surface, be a blessing. This blessing can take many forms appearing, at first glance, to be an act of benevolence. The Daedra provide a forced salvation, an unholy grace that seems too good to be true. It is a nectar of power and survival that ensures their chosen victims persist through the most grueling trials, acting as a beacon of false hope in the dark. | WEAKNESSES ✧ [ Depravity Lust ] The depravity of sin, while the source of a daemon’s strength, is also its most insidious weakness. A Daedra cannot resist the pull of depravity, no matter how calculated or ancient it may be. Sin fuels their existence, granting them power and influence, but it chains them as much as it sustains them. The deeper they sink into their own indulgence, the more their essence becomes a monstrosity. Daedra are creatures of excess, unable to resist the pull of the sins they embody. The sin that empowers them also traps them, making them slaves to their own desires. ✧ [ Malediction ] The Unholy Blessings are a venomous lie, for the scales are tipped in ways only the proverbial devil could balance. This ensures that every "blessing" is a curse, a whisper of corruption that seeps into the air like rot in a sealed room. No matter the gift the atmospheric "wrongness" targets the victim with surgical cruelty, demanding a price paid in profound suffering and spiritual decay. What appeared to be a favour is revealed as affliction; the salvation provided by the Daedra eventually turns to ash in the hands of the hopeful, ensuring that anyone unlucky enough to stand in their path pays a steep, agonizing debt to the Daedra. ✧ [ Manufactured Healing ] Chemical reactions from 'man made' healing products will turn their own regenerative healing into a suffocating, living prison; the daemon's flesh begins to expand uncontrollably, crushing its internal organs and sealing its respiratory system under a mountain of its own "healed" tissue. ✧ [ Nethermarks ] ✧ [ Post-Regenerative Bloodlust ] Consciousness is submerged by a primitive, predatory drive. Once the physical wound is closed, the Daedra is left in a state of hyper-aggression. A Daedra becomes indistinguishable from a mindless engine of destruction. They will fall upon the nearest source of organic matter to satisfy the biological "hunger" triggered by their own survival. This achieved either by devouring the other organic source, inflicting intense trauma causing a victim's pain or the thrill of a fresh mutilation acts as a psychic catalyst. ✧ [ Religious Afflictions ] |
