  Dacien is a Jedi Knight who is adept at investigation and private work, due to his species' natural ability to protect their minds from the Force, and his capacity for using a rare Force power known as psychometry. Though lacks the skills necessary to perform special operations, his method of Jedi service is more boots on the ground, bar diving and criminal interrogating.

  Dacien is a tall, muscular individual who engages in regular exercise. He is broad shouldered, has long dark hair, blue eyes and tends to have either stubble or a beard. He has some faint scars on his face and holds himself with confidence. His most notable feature is left mechno-arm replacement from shoulder, which is plated with songsteel.
  
  
  
  
  
  His clothing usually consists of light and maneuverable jackets and pants, with durable combat boots. He also tends to have a blaster holster on his right thigh, and his lightsaber clipped to his belt. Though, depending on the situation, his clothing can change and his weapons can be concealed, if needed.

  Strengths:
  
  • Lone Operative: Dacien is good at going unnoticed; stealth, suppressing his presence, using mind tricks, and other similar Force powers are easy to use for him at this point.
  • Combat Ready: Due to his occupation, Dacien has trained hard in lightsaber and blaster combat. He is very skilled with the lightsaber, able to hold his own against multiple blaster wielding opponents, while also being on the upper-end of the skill spectrum for his rank compared to other Jedi/Sith Knights in bladed engagements. Dacien employs the use of Tràkatawith his lightsaber combat and is familiar with several traditional lightsaber forms, but ultimately uses whatever gets the job done. He is also trained in more advanced martial arts to compliment his bladework:

    • Broken Gate (learning)
  • Moving Things: Dacien is a natural with telekinesis, and can use it simply and easily, incorporating it into his combat styles almost effortlessly.
  • Street Smarts: Jedi teachings aren't the only thing Dacien knows, as he has past experiences with smuggling, underworld criminals and learned how to deal with those areas of society from his past. He's also handy with a wrench in a pinch, but it's certainly not his specialty.
  • Visions Of Mind: Dacien is capable of psychometry. Unlike most, his ability isn't limited to inanimate objects, and works on living beings. Yet, while being able to access the impressions and traces around things has advantages, there are also dangers. Emotions and dark thoughts can be transferred during the process, leaving Dacien to combat influences and feelings not conducive to a Jedi or the Light Side. Also, as an Epicanthix, Dacien has developed natural mental protection from Force attacks and influences.

  • Toeing A Line: Dacien is a young Jedi Knight who tends to operate alone, or in small groups, and this gives him a lot of freedom compared to others in the Silver Jedi; temptation, substances, romance & possessions are all lures he continually tries to resist.
  • Phantom Limb: Dacien's cybernetic left arm can be both a boon or hindrance, as the limb can grant additional strength but can also be disrupted by ion effects.
  • Limited By Others: Somewhat headstrong and impatient, Dacien is used to operating his way as a Silver Shield; this can clash with other Order members, especially those in higher command, as he is used to taking action and direction of his own accord.
  • Not Yet A Master: Dacien is still learning, he's a Jedi Knight, and while he would like to believe he can handle any situation as a Silver Shield, the truth remains that sometimes he needs to swallow his pride and retreat from overwhelming opponents.
  • Father Issues: Dacien longs to meet his father, but fears it will never happen.
