Designed for explorers and colonists in the outer rim and unknown regions, Czerka arms created the CZ Mk2 as an affordable, durable rifle. Unfortunately, The weapon never achieved the popularity they desired due to it's low fire rate and a few minor cooling issues that made it less popular on planets with a hotter climate.
Eventually it was given a charged shot and coolant rod that made it more popular once the mk-1 Variant was replaced with the mk2.
The CZ Mark 2 "spitfire" was marketed as a durable blaster rifle perfect for home defense, hunting, and exploration, and began to slowly gain popularity in the outer rim among beginner bounty hunters and Spacers.

- Low fire rate: The CZ Mk2 is known to heat slightly faster than the average blaster rifle, especially in hot environments, as such it has been outfitted with a coolant rod that ejects a small amount of coolant into the barrel with each pull of the lever, and the weapon will not fire again until the lever has been pulled, resulting in the single shot lever action design.
