Description: Through the natural process of Diffusion, natural lungs transfer oxygen to the blood. The U1 will be functioning the same way, by way of a thin, artificial membrane that will allow the Blood and Oxygen/Carbon Dioxide to enter and leave the bloodstream as it would with any normal lung. Specs will need be taken for each patient that undergoes the transplant, but to ensure that each lung works properly, they are trial tested on basic models to verify quality. The lung will not interfere with the original designs of the body. Surgical steel and Flexsteel are the materials to be used to ensure sturdy and long lasting product.
