Cutting out "Meat" from the Galactic Diet

As the shuttle cruised downward toward the planet of Trandosha, Cricket looked over the content on the datapad filled with numerous information on this alien known as "Jetar." It was apparent to her that this bloke was an attention seeker, but a dangerous one at that. She didn't understand why they couldn't just slip in and eliminate the poor sod but the Republic didn't want to deal with the fallout of creating a martyr; so he would live for now. Instead of killing him outright, she and her partner [member="Jinelu D'ysedri"] were tasked with setting up listening devices throughout his compound and mapping out the area. She was unclear what the Republic High Command was gearing up for; but she didn't ask questions only followed orders.

She handed the datapad to the male Liran so he could study the content for himself. She usually worked missions alone but at the request of the Intelligence Agency they had advised that a two-team operation was in order to ensure both success of the operation and the safety of the agents involved. She respected that.

"What do you think," she asked her partner when he finished reading the datapad for himself. "Other than finding a way into this party, do you see any other options available to us?"

Her handler had warned her how this slaver enjoyed human woman and how he just loved to enslave them for his own personal agendas. Unfortunately for him, she would kill him if he tried to make her dance around in a skimpy outfit. Orders or not. But she was smart enough to not let that happen. But at the same time they needed to get in, complete the job, and get out as quickly and quietly as possible. They should avoid killing any of his guards but if their own safety was compromised then they had free reign to kill.

Anya was onboard one of the shuttles heading for green-glowing planet of Trandosha. It was an arid planet full of high mountains, grasslands and deserts. The native species there were known as reptile-looking creatures called Trandoshans. In the shuttle, she was busying going over through the process and details of the mission. Going through the briefing she had attended by Republic High Command, she had learnt that she would be working alongside two operatives. She had been assigned to the team as their medical and technical support, as well as to provide fire-power assistance whenever needed. As part of the military, she had worked with agents before in the past, and they have all gone along surprisingly well. She hoped that this would go along smoothly as well.

Taking up a datapad in her hands, she swiped the screen with several gestures of her fingers, before arriving at the details of the mission. This whole ruckus was caused a young Trandoshan by the name of Jetar. He was rallying denizens to his cause, trying to form a rebellion. The growing movement has High Command worried, and so they had put together a team to settle this 'meat.' The meat wanted to bring back slavery to the planet, but that won't do. The Republic does not condone slavery, and thus this rebeliion must be squashed before it gets too large to deal with. The team has been prohibited from eliminating Jetar, and to refrain from violence whenever they can. With human females forming the majority of the team, they have also been informed of this rather interesting titbit of information.

Apparently, the 'meat' has a fondness for party, and an unhealthy obsession for human women. Knowing of this fact, it had opened up an alternative route for them to explore if they so wish. Placing down the datapad back on the seat, she checked her armour, and weapons once more. Once she was satisfied that everything was in order, she proceeded to check on the rest of her equipment and supplies. With everything good to do, all she had to was wait until the shuttle landed on the surface of the planet, and she would begin to make her way to the rendezvous coordinates.
