Currents is a corporation a team of thrill seekers using alternative methods of travel. Originally a pet project for very select customers, Currents received a bit more funding from other thrill seekers looking to find an alternative to the traditional starships. Currents started with sunjammer ships which lead into traditional solar sailing yachts. When Brooke Waters joined the team on Kattada, the company began making high performance wind-catching sails.
RATIONALE
Always on the look out to find her place in the galaxy, Brooke Waters joined the Jedi Temple complex on Kattada after the Blue Coral Divers fell under the protection of the Kattadan Sentinels. This put her in touch with many people that reminded her of her home on Pamarthe, sailors and watermen. Having observed Sunjamming during her time with Bright Star Entertainment Group, there was always a part of Brooke that wanted to join in the fun. When the team of sail designers helped her with her starship and water-based vessel, she went to Coren Starchaser to ask for start up money for the team, and to work under the banner of Starchaser Enterprises with a unique direction. A peaceful company designed purely to enhance the sport of alternative racing in a galaxy destined for high technology.
