SPECIAL FEATURES
Enchanted Lightsaber that increases resistance to Force Powers and increase affinity for Dark Magic Spells and the Dark Side in general. This magic has even altered the blade to allow it to deflect solid slug ammunition. Its dark taint cannot be sensed by lightsiders.
Special modifications to emitter silence the blade
Special modifications to emitter enable blade to change color from red to blue
Strengths:
Witchcraft!: The Amalgam has used dark magic to alter the weapon to increase the affinity for the dark side, slightly increasing Kay's ability to use dark magic as well. It also renders her more resistant to neutral and certain dark side powers, such as push, pull, lightning and choke. The magic also enables it to deflect slugs as though they were blaster bolts. Lastly, the magic prevents any lightsider from sensing its taint.
Silencer: The blade is completely silent. It cannot be heard once activated.
Camo: A special lense and emitter set enables Kay to switch the crystal from red to blue.
Rip and Tear: Anyone not wearing lightsaber resistant materials is pretty much doomed.
Rubat: Sharpens the blade, enabling it to make quicker attacks and making it easier to track.
Weaknesses:
Cortosis: Cortosis will shut off the blade
Water: Water will short it out.
Sonics: Like most lightsabers, sonics can go through the blade
Void: Entering a force void will completely shut off the blade
Light nexus: Entering a light nexus will prevent the blade from being able to cut through anything though it will still cause pain.

An example of the weapons and techniques favored by The Cult of The Brain Demon, The Amalgam dusted off the old lessons to craft this lightsaber for Kay Arenais, the former queen of Commenor. Crafted by The Amalgam with the intent of smuggling it to Kay during her imprisonment, this is a window into how the cult itself operated in their covert war against the Jedi Order, employing powerful, tainted lightsabers to increase their ability to resist and use the Force, Most of the cult's lightsabers had the unique ability to resist slug throwers ammo as a result of the tainted magic employed on this blade that no light sider can sense, and The Amalgam crafted it not only to know the sensation of giving a friend a gift for the first time but to entice Kay to consider a darker path in life after nearly all of existence seems to have turned against her, the lightsaber able to alter color in an emergency should she find herself in the company of potentially hostile light adepts after her escape.
