Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
Disease. Blonde never thought she'd have to do this, to make a virus that would sicken the enemy and general populace of a planet. To poison and possibly forever taint the water supply that people relied upon, it was dark even for her standards. But that was just how it had to be, she had too many enemies and if they wanted to play tough with her then they would feel her wrath, they would understand that she was not to karked with under any standard and that she didn't make idle threats to people. So it was time to get started, it was time to take those samples of foul sewer water and turn them into a weaponized disease that would taint and spread through the ranks of both military and civilians alike. Because a virus didn't have a conscious, it's only objective was to spread and reproduce.

So with her lovely assistant [member="Cyrus Falcor"] and his intensive knowledge of disease and poisons, along with a team of hired scientists, they were going to produce a weaponized disease. The sewage water from coruscant had already been sorted into usable observation discs and the first task was to sort out the disease they needed the most out of this, and she already had a good idea of what that might be.

Crypto. A disease that would cause fever, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, and fatigue. It was perfect for putting an entire population on its ass and keeping it there, the only problem was that it could be destroyed with proper chemical treatment. They had to build it up and make it stronger so it could last and keep spreading through the population. But not just that, the disease was normally spread just by drinking water. It had to be pushed even further to be able to be transferred by person to person contact, the force would help in that regard. If a Sith Lord could make the rakghoul plague, then Blonde could certainly produce a disease that would make you feel like death for a few weeks.

When someone says, hey let's poison a water supply, you say, with what, when Blonde asks to make a resilient virus that taints the water and can be spread person to person, you say, where's Surgeon...

He was where he always is, at Blonde's side. This time, he'd be in charge. Sort of. Blonde had collected a number of samples from the water treatment lines on Coruscant and had planned to use something she'd found to her liking, Crypto. A water-born parasite that caused a number of severe symptoms, but its curable through chemical water treatment and a ton of antibiotics. Blonde needed one strain that survived the treatment and resisted medicine long enough to become a large issue that cause extreme reactions to contain.

Cyrus had the scans up from Blondes initial tests and was working on altering the DNA to help it resist chemical treatment in the water filtration process. Finding a way to give the parasite an advantage over the chemicals was going to be difficult.

It was going to be a difficult task, nothing about this was particularly easy to do. Her team of scientists had already been cooking up ideas on how to boost the diseases efficiency, but chemicals and modern medicine were very large walls to jump over. Luckily Miss Blonde had another ally in the fight, she had the force. That spooky space magic that could create plagues and other forms of raw pestilence. She'd be sure to use it to her advantage when it came to this whole ordeal, and with Surgeon here they were all but guaranteed a way to make the disease they needed to make.

"Surgeon, I need you and the scientists to do two things. I need you to isolate the all the various forms of Crypto that occur throughout the most common species in the Galaxy. They'll need to be the strongest ones you can find, use the lab equipment and scanners to handle it." Blonde gave her order to the man and then shot a nod of confidence his way.

From there she would move to an area of the back of the room and start to sit with her legs crossed. She'd never done this level of manipulation with the force. Sure she'd altered the molecular structure of swords, but that was metal. They were elements with set chemical structures that could be modified. This was different. If changing the molecular structure of a sword was basic math, then this was rocket science. A virus was a living thing, and there were tons of different strands that went with it.

"Take as long as you need, I'll be channeling power for what's going to come towards the end." She'd begin to draw power in with the force. Letting it swirl around her in gentle waves of energy.

Cyrus blinked green and began pointing to the scientists on where to begin. It would be difficult but with so many eyes looking for the best strands, it would be far easier than were he doing it alone.

Cyrus spent the first twenty minutes isolating individual samples and running them trough tests for resistance and longevity. After gathering a few successful tests, he began to incorporate the best of each strand into an incubator. He was effectively attempting to create a viral test tube baby. The other scientists were running similar experiments and were attempting to create a way to boost the natural resistance in order to splice it into the final specimen.

Cyrus was a savant when it came to diseases and poisons, a man ahead of his time. Kind of sad that this was how he out his talents to work, in another life maybe he could of been a real surgeon or Doctor. But it was too late for that now. This was the path they had chosen and despite all the hard times they had been through together, Blonde wouldn't have his psychopathic mass murdering Nagai any other way. She just hopped she wouldn't have to Ole Yeller him in the end, that would be heartbreaking.

As for the disease, Cyrus and the team of scientists were chugging along great. They had isolated some of the more drug and chemical resistant strands of the disease across multiple species of aliens and placed them in the incubator. Once they had finished up with that, the next job would be easier. They needed to combine them into one strand that could mutate and affect almost anyone it affected regardless of race.

"Great job, Cyrus. Once you have them all in the incubator have the scientists start to merge them together. Everything's going great, we're definitely going to Applebee's tonight." With a chuckle the woman continued to push herself and gather energy.

Slowly pulling in more and more force energy into her core, Blonde twinged a bit under the stress of converting the force into her fingertips. She needed to be able to completely alter the disease and make it stronger and push it past what conventional science could do. The force was her tool and she would control it, not the other way around.

Seeing Blone, for the first time in what seemed like forever, show stress, he knew their work was important. Cyrus pulled out a syringe from his pack and emptied it into a canteen of water. It was a tonic mixture of vitamins, antioxidants, and phytonutrients; great for brain function. And in a higher dosage so anyone could get a full day's dose in one glass of water. He walked to Blonde and handed her the canteen. He gestured to drink and that it was for her brain. He knew she'd be under a lot of pressure, especially mentally.

Going back to his station, and began digital testing on which strands were going to merge successfully. One scientist brought over a 90% match and Surgeon used that sample as his base to build from. Going to dinner with Blonde would be great, but not until their work was completed.

It worried Cyrus to see Blonde under such pressure but she'd proven that her powers were far stronger than her appearance lead you to believe.

Cyrus was a really sweet guy underneath all the crazy, really he was. There were two sides to the man and Blonde always wondered what made him this way? What could of happened in his past to hurt him this badly and turn him into a monster with some semblance of humanity left. Hell, the same could be said for her. But it was the fact that Blonde knew what Cyrus was, while she killed for business, Cyrus just did it for the fun. He took delight in killing, and for most people that canteen would be the last thing they ever drank. But she knew this was safe for her, and she wouldn't even need to hesitate to have a drink.

So it was with a shaky hand that she raised the drink to the drinking tube on her mask and took a sip from it. It's cool refreshing feeling calmed her a bit and did its part to help. Afterwards she set it to the side and kept going. She was too far in to stop now.

"Surgeon..." She said in a hoarse voice.

"You'll need to take the combined disease and then synthesize it into a singular liquid. When you do it, make sure it's in a large container of water in a darkened space with low light. It's gonna want to spread and spread fast." Blonde struggled to get her words out more and more as energy kept coming to her.

It started getting worse. What was once just invisible energy started to manifest itself to the naked eye of even non force users. A low green energy flowed around Miss Blonde and it began to swirl around her growing more and more violent as it did. She was taking the literal power of the universe and bending it to her own will. She would alter that damn disease and make it a force to be reckoned with, and by default herself. The people who dared work against her would suffer, their earth would be salted, and their water poisoned. There would be no mercy from her.

Cyrus finally found a 100% match and began splicing the appropriate genes every which way. The scientists spent their time filling a large silo with nutrient rich water so the specimen could feed before it was released into the population. While the scientists were working and the specimen was forming into the deadly chemical weapon it was created to be...Cyrus fixed a drink for the scientists.

It was a cocktail of vodka, mixers and a kark ton of benzodiazepines. Tasteless and odorless, they'd be untraceable in the beverage. When overdosed with Benzos, it'll knock them out, give them hallucinations andcause short term memory loss. They didn't deserve to die, not this time. Maybe in the future. If he needed he could track them all down and dispatch them individually.

Cyrus set the pitcher of celebratory beverage on a cart with glasses for the scientists and brought the sample and introduced it into the container of water. A few labor droids aided them in loading the solo onto a cargo speeder. Cyrus went back to Blonde to alert her of his completion of her tasks...
