Mission: Route the Assassins... by whatever means necessary

Ever since the Sith Assassins had landed on Lwhekk, there had been nothing but a long string of issues and interruptions involving several of the native fauna, namely a sentient species known as the Ssi-Ruu. A pre-historic looking species who stood approximately seven to eight feet tall and sported incredible strength and preturnatural speed for their species. Constantly ambushing the assassins in guerrilla warfare with no clear front line. There had been a couple deaths due to the attacks, but by and large they had been seen as little more than an annoyance... the Red Ssi-Ruu were amazing warriors, though their tactics were little more than hit and run, their advanced weapons easily ripping apart smaller landing craft as the assassins had attempted to make a small forward base on the planet.

The death of a few men here and there, and some property damage would not usually be enough to send in a knight of the sith assassins with back-up. The Ssi-Ruu of the red variety had experienced just as many deaths as the Assassins had, and the grey lesser species which occasionally was a nuisance had experienced far more. Though when the appearance of the first Black Ssi-Ruu appeared, things took a turn for the worse.

Striking in the dead of night with advanced Entechment powered armor and personal stealth devices, they hit the Assassins' base on multiple fronts, killing upward on a dozen people and dealing hundreds of thousands of credits worth in property damage. Night after night returning and continuing their shadow war while the threat of the Red and the Grey Raptors continued during the day... The smell of fear was rife within the populous of the assassins' work-force, many abandoning their post at night with the slightest hint of what might be a plasma weapon in the distance.
It was for this reason, Sith were enlisted.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Iziz entered the area, looking to and fro, hoping that he would get his bearings on this god awful planet... he didn't like jungle worlds. Though the Jawa loved the presence of so much water, the fact there was so much in the way of everything, not to mention that his survival instincts kicked it into seventh gear in the forest due to sheer number of local predators. The whole feeling just made him not feel good about himself. Not to mention that the mission called for some level of diplomacy with seven foot tall dinosaurs... he knew from the get go this mission was going to turn south.

But at least he was not going alone.

Saera was not a name he recognized as a sith, it seemed new, but at least it was a world his throat was able to pronounce without the use of his translator Datapad, which was good for a change, together he hoped they would be able to get through this mess, and maybe come out better for it. Iziz had never seen one of these creatures before, though it seemed according to the reading he had done on them. They lived in a theocratic society, worshiping a god much like the wookies or the trandoshans. A hunter deity with no known name, but was worshiped and spoken for by the gold Ssi-ruu, who were the species' religious caste...

but among all the colors it seemed the ones they would be working most with in this instance would be the blue...

Unless things went south...

Hot and heavy jungles, always the same how the excess moisture effected the breathing. White experimental FFE OS-769 Stormtrooper MK2 armor encasing him, the technical displays in front of Kylath gave his visor a clear reading on the terrain, temperature, and the obvious surrounding movements. 769th command had Kylath running scouting missions alongside the assassins in recon teams. Checking off the FFE Modular Rifle and readying the saber by his side, he slung it over his back. A rifle had been provided for anyone that wanted them now to those working with the one sith or the assassins, though most Sith declined such things as mere blasters or rifles, Kylath had always found them useful. The sleek looking weapon he carried had been folded back to assault rifle size, and loaded with 12mm incendiary SPA-I shieldbreaker slugs, tipped to penetrate shielded opponents or light vehicles today with ion discharge, then set them alight.

“Perimeter looks secure,” Kylath said removing his helmet with a hissing of air, an equalising of pressures making a momentary discharge sound. The halfblood epicanthix and zeltrix took a look at the environment. Folding back his hair, and wiping the moisture from his eyes, which so often built while confined in these tight helmets, especially in this humidity. Special operations assigned by his Master Vengeance had him out and about in a variety of locals, between him and 769th he was seeing a lot of action, and today his mission had him escorting Iziz and the others through the undergrowth to their targets.

“Any further orders, or do you want me on point?” He quizzed the jawa sith knight, as he would anyone of superior rank, the former tribal now seemingly taking his military training into his everyday interactions with Sith of any rank. Understanding the mission brief to be finding and eliminating the source of these attacks once and for all, he parted the plant life out of the way as they worked forward slowly, keeping his eyes peeled for any threats.

Gave a firm nod, "As you wish.." She whispered. Her communication device was rendered null, for the time being with he or she on the opposite end of the transmission left a mystery. Her form eased through the forested region, the heat only a minor hindrance for her. For the time being, she remained quiet while walking slightly behind the Sith she seemed to accompany. She possessed no armor, no fancy helmets or the like. Merely, two light saber hilts and a pair of squinted eyes peeled toward her enigmatic surroundings.

<" We're dancing with Dinos, it seems.">

The Jawa looked to each of his compatriots and the other soldiers whom seemed to accompany them, though Saera had not shown her face, time was wearing thin, and although they had sent an envoy forward to make political contact with the people of the Ssi-ruuk township nearby, the longer this waited, the closer they would get to another attack. Of the people around him, Iziz could sense that at least two of them had light-sabers at their disposal, which was a relief, soldiers had been fighting the black Ssi-ruu before and had posed little threat, but with at least another 2 sith on the field, it would no doubt even the odds considerably... But the Jawa, regrettably could still feel the ever tightening knot of suspense about the mission to come. The Ssi-ruu were a xenophobic and traditional people, not unlike Jawa that way, though, quite unlike the desert dwellers of outer rim planets, the Ssi-Ruu were half tonne killing machines rather than two foot tall rodents.

The perimeter check from [member="Kylath Connar Amadis"] was more than appreciated, him asking for further orders was to be expected, letting out his senses, the Jawa too could not feel the living presence of another entity within range of them... which was something good for a change.

"Keep a tight formation, this forest is theirs and we're stronger together..."

The Jawa was not a keen tactician, he didn't know that staying together in a tight group would make them an easier target and more able to be surrounded, but it did evade the potential ability for an enemy to be able to take them out one at a time with the aid of the brush. After he spoke his attention moved to the two of them, to some extent he could ascertain their talents, sniffing the air to check their emotional states. Which seemed to be calm for the moment. But, he needed to know for sure, as a member of the Sith assassins, where young girls used oversized axes and Jawa could be trained killers, nothing was ever as it seemed.

Coming to a stop for a moment after Kunsumi spoke, Iziz turned to both Kylath and [member="Kunsumi"] and adressed the two of them.

"Indeed we are...

But, before the group of us end up in a world of trouble, I'd like to know our collective strengths and how best we would be able to use them... Ssi-ruu are fierce and powerful so we're going to need to be on point, we're going to need a plan to be able to deal with them, and by knowing our talents, we can work better together... Not really in the sith spirit... but we have to begin somewhere..."

Copy that,” Kylath tensed the grip on his weapon, keeping his eyes peeled, and attaching his helmet to his belt. He decided against the saber after listening to the jawa giving a more detailed sitrep, readying the assault rifle back to his grip, and pointing the scope outwards as they advanced, mostly covering their sides while the others looked forward, to be sure nothing snuck up on them.

“Acolyte Amadis, 769th special operations command under Knight Vengeance and Major Thraus,” Kylath read off his traits almost like a book, trained to do so, Coruscant’s own were a relatively new legion formed at the destruction of a Coruscant city district, when the GA had invaded. “Recon, close combat, and linguistic specialties,” he read off his file like he had it memorized, because he had. He was a mix of Sith and Soldier, much like his half brother had been once upon a time, only his path had taken him a very different way.

Kunsumi and Iziz seemed capable enough, giving a grin-nod Kunsumi's way, he looked her over to see if he could read anything from her. From what Iziz was saying, seemed like they had their work cut out for them, “night op means you want this quiet?” Kylath asked between glances to their sides, scope still present giving him some ranged night sight, after the introductions were over the helmet was refitted, presenting him with the benefit of full night vision across its display. He had a preference for loud, not that it mattered, the mission was more important.

Vineech's aura seemed dormant, cloaked for the most part with only lust, and deception exuding from her person in small portions. Physically, she was slender, armed with two sabers and a latex-composed, tight-fitting suit to display her ...assets accordingly. "Alo'sis.." She vaguely stated, "Dual-Lightsaber Combatant and Stealth." She switched gazes between the Ewok, and Amadis, seizing them up herself and compiling their strengths for future reference. "I'd certainly hope so. Quiet, quick and adrenaline pumping is the way I prefer things."

[member="Kylath Connar Amadis"], [member="Iziz"]

"Fantastic, I myself am known for lightsaber combat, and stealth, but, speed is my grand equalizer..."

Iziz spoke with a soft and genuine smile upon his face, upturning his bio luminescent eyes which shone under the black gauze he wore over his face and under his hat to make him appear as pitch as any of his brothers whom still wore the hoods of their people... It took them all some time to get to the settlement, climbing a hill and looking down at a large township, too small to be a small city, but definately large enough to be a point of commerce for the planet. It was down here that intelligence had tracked the assaults to coming from.

"We sent a politician here some days ago to try and settle things, we havn't heard word of her since though, so how do each of you think we should best handle this? We need to stop these attacks, but the directive never really gave a method, we could do it diplomatically, take a hostage, search and destroy the assassins at their base of operations... though that last one could probably cause more issues... but making a statement could hold some weight. Commander, Vineech?"

Iziz seemed a little lost at what to do, mostly because there was so many avenues to come from, he personally would prefer to cut the head off the snake, the person ordering the attacks on the sith could be killed and someone put in their place who would better serve the Sith Assassins and actively work to hide their presence. The human politician that had been sent would be perfect for the job, but that entailed that Alliat was still alive...

which could be a bit of a stretch.

Nodding, Kylath allowed his breath to focus him, allowed his training to measure the intake of air as a martial artist often could. It allowed a certain clarity of mind and thought to be controlled as he went. The exertion of the hill was matched by youthful endurance and drive, barely feeling it, not from some great force technique, just from being in the prime of his life. This was his time to take.

“Replace the leader with your own.” Kylath suggested in that same mindset, simple and efficient, "get a double" One life lost, with a lot more gained, “kill any close advisors over time,” so he or she wasn’t found out easily, and the replacement wasn’t overt in one fell swoop. Vengeance was training Kylath to value life but the balance of being Sith demanded a toll for that same balance to be maintained, control at a price. The lives he was taking grew now to number the dozens personally, with a lot more lost under his command.

Sadly there was distraction! Connar was a man and like any man he noticed Kunsumi’s form, thankfully for his sake he was a soldier, and the sith academy’s tended to train you to focus, play hard and work harder. The distraction was exhaled, his throat cleared and he turned back to the bush ahead, rifle panning ahead. Ambition to succeed won out over young hormones, though it was a close run thing.

"Men and women rely on us to act, lives rely on it." Kylath stated in no uncertain terms, someone had to do the things others wouldn't or couldn't. The desire to protect life, leading him down a path of doing whatever was necessary to ensure survival of the masses, and those that served with him. Act, Seize, Control. Though he was aware he had spoken out of turn, and made no point to say more.

[member="Iziz"] | [member="Kunsumi"]

Her crimson gaze lowered, her peripherals momentarily favoring Kylath as a sudden, brief spike of Lust arose, but simmered just as quickly. She herself scaled the hill, her clouded thoughts distracting what slight toll it would instill on her physically. Brief flashes of flames, of a katana-wielding force serving as a wall, blocking her path to ascension. Her breathing notably regulated, clouds fading to permit thoughts pertaining to the objective at hand. "Diplomacy has failed," she began, "Your diplomat's more than likely demise proof." She spoke after Kylath, nodding toward him. "We will destroy them from the inside out. Allow their leadership to topple over and crush what lies below them." She recalled the recent reports of dwindling sith numbers. "Swiftly, at that."

[member="Kylath Connar Amadis"], [member="Iziz"]

Iziz nodded in turn, it seemed that they had their plan, to strike at the heart of their leadership, cutting the head off the snake so that the fangs would become docile there-after. Iziz hoped that the politician they had sent was still alive, if they were to completely destroy their leadership, they would be able to impose their own on the township. However that was completely dependent on a factor that the Jawa was not certain about. While the other two seemed to climb the hill with little effort, the incline combined with his short legs as well as the humidity of the tropical forest that they were in made every breath just that little bit harder for the Jawa, causing him to pant and be short of breath by the time they got to the top. Looking down, he was sure the way would be much easier, each of them would no doubt be able to break into a run. But only one more question remained.

Entry

"I propose Kunsumi and I stealth our way in and open the way, it will allow you and your mean to make an arrowhead for our target. We move hard and fast, It'll be a bit of a fight, but, if we can beat their response time, we'll be fine. Thoughts?"

Iziz spoke to the other two, holding up at the top of the hill to also regain his breath. Looking down he could see several defensive positions where Red skinned Ssi-Ruu seemed to be stationed. Each of them would be little trouble, though they were large and about as strong as an Adult male Wookie with the speed to match, their armour was basic and their weapons slightly more-so. It was the black raptors that they should be watching out for, sadly their stealth technology made them almost impossible to detect at this distance. It was more than likely that they were within the ranks of the Red Raptors as hidden back-up...

Though it was possible, it was unlikely.

Black Ssi-ruu were rare, and highly reverred, it was more likely that they were the personal guards of the upper class and nobles during the light of day. Never seen unless required to be.

Negotiations with a bestial and xenophobic community are always a trying affair. The Ssi-ruu even more so than usual. Normally one has the chance to offer all manner of 'civilized' baubles and diversions which entice the noble class to throw away their peoples freedom for nice condo complete with the latest in RV technology and a supply of fine spice potent enough to kill a rancor. However the Typhojem damned lizards made it abundantly clear that they had their own technologies thank you very much and they considered them far greater than the ones I was offering.

My next gambit - the offer of protection granted by the Sith empire also failed miserably. The ambassador a blue scaled leader caste deigned to lecture me on the myriad merits of the red scaled warriors and their black assassin counterparts. I was relieved when the monotonous chirping and clicking of the ambassadors degenerate tongue ceased. This proved to be short lived when I was rudely grabbed from behind by a crimson brute whose mother had clearly slept with some unusually large breed of crocodile.

My blaster was confiscated by a green hued menial and I was roughly tied up to what I suspected to be an entechment generator. The ambassador wearing what passed for a poodoo eating grim among sentient velociraptors decided to make another appearance to yet again lecture me about what was going to happen once the machine had begun draining my life force.

I told him that he sounded like a cheap holo-villain from a poor movie and that if he didn't let me go I would make sure that his seeing his children burned to death would be the last thing he saw before his eyes were gouged out.

Not taking this particularly well the noble commanded his soldier lackey to flip the switch on me.

It hurt.

I didn't know the feeling of red hot pokers to exposed skin or needles under the fingernails. But I was sure this pain was something close to both of those.

I'm not a fighter nor do I have any Sith training to resist pain.

A piercing shriek escaped from my lips.

I couldn't take any more of this.

I had tried to do things diplomatically but they had backed me into a corner.

And as suddenly as that Chemok awakened.

It was pitiful. These creatures had no comprehension of the wider universe they lived in. The candle flames of their souls flickered weakly in the unlight of the spectral plane. Were a Dathomiri witch or Kissai sorcerer among them they might have detected my presence but at their base level of understanding there was not a hope in chaos. Such ignorance was worthy of little bar unbridled contempt.

First to die was the blue scaled leader. My tentacles wrapped around the aliens larynx lifting the preening fool from the floor. My hand found the underside of his jaw and with but a minuscule expenditure of energy the skin was pierced. Fingers hooked the front of his jawbone and before the victim knew what was coming I had torn the lower hald of his reptilian face from his head. Blood spattered the floor and torn ligaments dangled grotesquely as the noble howled a wordless cry that made Alliats seem brave in comparison.

Now holding the makeshift weapon I slammed it once into the creatures side tearing gouges with the jagged teeth. The second blod broke its back and it fell to the floor paralyzed and fading as its spine was ruptured.

Through tusks that made the Ssi-Ruu's fangs seem like the milk teeth I spoke to the remaining two reptiles.

" Fall to your knees and venerate your new lord"

As I spoke my tendrils caught the clasps securing Alliat to the table and tore them as would a hound set upon a rabbit.

The red scaled warrior in a fit of lunatic bravado raised a blaster carbine to my central mass and fired. Deciding that instead allowing him the knowledge of how little such a wound would impede me I would merely fade into the spirit plane I did so and then reappeared again much closer to the warrior.

Distending my jaw I let forth a flood of acid. Within this corrosive substance spectral parasites writhed and even as the liquid burned away scales and skin leaving behind only raw exposed flesh the worms began to burrow their way into the guards body. Scratching at his front with crazed fervor the warrior succeeded only in tearing his fore-body to bloody ribbons while the parasites burrowed in deeper.

Finally I turned towards the green servant who had prostrated himself before me in a display of surrender...

Stumbling out of the room while Chemok wrought our combined vengeance I fumbled for my coms unit.

Right pocket - no. Left pocket - no...yes.

Sliding into an abandoned closet I quickly shut the door trying to make as little noise as possible.

"This is Agent Alliat Xaphon. There has been a breakdown in negotiations and things are going to chaos inside the facility in which I am located. If any Sith can hear this make immediately for my location and I need to be extracted from the zone.

Silently I prayed to Typhojem that the nearby force would receive my transmission.

Kylath liked Kunsumi’s style. No messing about, that he could do.

“Consider it done.” Kylath stated to Iziz, calling the others over who formed a tighter spearhead on him, “I’ll take 3 in, cloaking up, you have a replacement for their leader in mind or just want them gone?” Their cloaking devices shimmered on, masking them from view. If he wanted him replaced not killed, whether Iziz replaced the leader now or later didn’t matter, calling a replacement in now or a shapeshifter of some kind would be useful if he wanted him replaced, many species could shift, Clawdites or Shi’dio for example to maintain the illusion of being the same person.

“I’ve got a shifter, few clicks south if you want them,” Kylath sent a signal to see if the more distant squad was in comms contact, ready checked his men and locked and loaded to move. The rifle showing a full clip, the safety was pulled off on his gun. Standing there in his shimmering belt cloak, might be unnerving because Iziz was now speaking to nothing at all, or so it looked to anyone else looking on.

“Ready to move.” Last check done on the equipment, each of the three stealth squad coming with him signalled they were ready, just as their agent called in [member="Alliat Xaphon"]. “Looks like your insider needs an evac.” When they'd finalized the plan, Kylath's men followed at a distance behind Iziz and Kunsumi, invisible and keeping their approach masked as they descended toward their target.

[member="Iziz"] | [member="Kunsumi"] [member="Alliat Xaphon"]

Iziz nodded to each of them, but then it seemed that a signal flared to life, Alliat seemed to be alive, though the shaking in her voice seemed to dictate that there was an amount of fear behind her words, something had gone horribly wrong, and it seemed that the woman that Iziz knew to be a strong, and stubborn woman seemed to have had her pride damaged some-what, or perhaps come to some harm in the middle of hostile territory. Looking to the others, Kunsumi especially, Iziz pressed the activation button on his Stealth generator, and faded out of existence, looking to the other two and signalling in such a manner that he would appear as more of a wivver in the air than invisible, The Jawa signaled to attack the complex and make their way into the heart.

Not finding the need to be using force speed, Iziz would kick his motion into next gear, in an instant he would no longer be were he once was, making his way down the hill on all fours like an anthromorphic rodent or canine, Iziz was much faster on all fours, and more than able to keep up with the sprinting speed of a humanoid. Looking ahead it seemed that the barricade before them was getting closer and closer, From this distance Iziz was able to much better sense the locations of things around them. Of all of those present there was one that was not in the realm of physical sight...

It must be one of them...

Hitting the surrounding defensive walls of the town, near the front gate, Iziz jumped, Kicked off the side of the wall and gained extra height, vaulting upward in a forward somersault as he cleared the fifteen foot wall with ease. From the top of the wall the Jawa made a jump for the invisible opponent, striking from stealth he would land behind him and with the extension of his Bes'kar Saber-pike he would plunge the blade deep into the heavy stealthed powered armour of the assassin, dragging the blade up with another jump as he broke out of his stealth and appeared to those around him.

The first emotion that any of them would sense was confusion at the attack, hopefully, Iziz would be slightly ahead of Kunsumi, allowing her to strike again into the heart of them while they were all distracted. Two sith in the heart of your forces was enough to break moral and shatter fighting spirit.

Iziz delved deep into himself and thrust out a hand as the invisible physics of telekinetic control coiled like tendrils around the lever controls which held the gate open. Clutching them with the force, Iziz would pull down, opening the two wide doors for the troops to begin their spear-head and for the devastation to begin. This was the assault that Iziz had been waiting for, he could feel something within himself begin to awake and witness the combat. Iziz thanked that the spirit within him was not aiming to take active control of his body, it seemed it merely wished to enjoy the show and give witness to how much the Jawa had grown over recent years.

"Kill everyone who stands in our way, but we need to keep moving!"

The Jawa snapped openly.

The wispy tendrils of reptilian ectoplasm begin to slide down into my gullet. Such pitiful sparks of consciousness are hardly what one could consider a feast but as I subsume their essence it gives me an intimate knowledge of their society. As the shroud of otherness is torn away everything becomes so utterly clear.

They have no force usage. The Ssi-Ruu society is nothing but an elaborate farce, animals playing at being sentient life. In a way it is both pathetic and sickening. With all the mummery of a monkey donning human attire it does little to raise any pity or mercy for Alliats once captors.

For his obeisance I spare the green hued servant.

Floating through into the corridor however I am met with more resistance in the form of crimson hued warriors. With a foolhardy charge one manages to plant some form of ceremonial axe into my chest. Black hide splits and acidic ichor trickles from the wound however it does not penetrate nearly as deep as common physics dictate it should. Terror begins to blossom in his eyes and my right hand wraps firmly around his skull. Pressure is applied and the bone composing his skull begins to crack and splinter digging needle shark shards into his brain. The tendrils that comprise my other arm begin to lash out at his companions with blinding speed. Guns are dropped as finger talons are severed and the scaly epidermis is flayed from the flesh that lies beneath.

The sheer unencumbered thrill of this is so great that I almost miss the grenade that is tossed by a panicked reptile.

Due to my unique nature this would only be a temporary hindrance to me as I would reform later from the energy of the darkside however it would no doubt cause my other self - Alliat to suffer great mental strain and even possibly lose consciousness due to the trauma. This would in turn leave her prone and open to any attacks made by the glorified raptors. What would be my fate if Alliat died is unkown though I have no intentions of finding out.

So slipping into the spirit plane I ghosted past the detonation glorying in the way the physical blast passed right through me. As I manifested in the middle of the throng of adversaries one of the quicker beasts called out in its primitive tongue.

"Demon!"

That was a mantle I could live with.

Help was on it's way. I kept telling myself this as I shimmied my way into the ventilation shaft. It had taken a good ten minutes to use the various maintenance tools found in the closet to remove the grate and now I was crawling through on my hands and knees. Unlike a holofilm star however I quickly came to realize that I had absolutely no idea which way I was going. After several panicked seconds I flipped out the comms device I had used to contact my extraction team. If I used the general location that they had arrived from as a point of reference I should theoretically be able to meet up with them by traveling in their direction.

That was the theory anyway and as I didn't have much else to go on it would have to do.

This was a total fubar of an operation and I would make sure to give whoever had set it up a piece of my mind. What use was sending a diplomat to pack of savages that would only respond to violence and displays of force. If I had known that the creatures were little more than barbarians with some fancy tech I would have ditched the power suit and sensible shoes for something with more feathers and skulls draping off it. Hell I would have told them that Chemok was the spirit of their ancestors returned to punish them if I had any inkling that their force presence was so low.

And with one hand in front of another I made my way though the metal tunnel that would hopefully lead me to freedom.

Iziz Cut through the ranks around him and activated his force speed in full, turning into little more than a blur and moving at speeds which would put predatory animals to shame at their maximum sprints. Iziz lunged forward and began hacking at those who would stand in his way. Step by step the Jawa avoided the strange guns in the hands of those who opposed them, they seemed to fire plasmic power, much like that of a normal blaster, but the gas substance which it had charged seemed to be different, each of the guns shooting a magnetic field surrounding what looked to be electricity of some kind, with the rifles having chords plugged into their armour... Iziz hadn't heard about the entechment technology of the Ssi-Ruu, but he was about to, suddenly barring his path were two black raptors, taller, broader, in full mechanoid performance enhancing armour and wielding weapons integrated into their suits.

The Jawa froze for a moment, a glint of fear in his eye before it hardened into pure determination.

Zig-Zagging the plasmic bolts which like stellar bodies hurled through the air and crashed into the ground before him with incredible force, ripping up the earth with every bolt as the Sith jumped, deflecting a couple of blasts before landing feet first onto one of the assassins' armours, feet on the beasts' chest, Iziz would spin, hanging horizontally there, defying gravity for a moment due to momentum as his spin would send his light-saber through the head and arms of the raptor, cutting off the front of its face and each of the arms that lunged for the creature... Falling backwards, the Jawa rode the body to the ground, leaping off moments before impact as he continued to run into the distance, having perfectly distracted the other enough for one of the others to finish off as they followed through.

Moments later and Iziz had reached the facility as something clamoured above him in a ventilation shaft, looking up, Iziz threw his lightsaber at the rear of the noise, intending to cut down the shaft and send one part of it crashing to the ground on a diagonal angle, spilling out its contents and likely coming face to face with a human woman. Cocking his head coyly to a side, Iziz would be surprised, catching his red bladed light-saber he would immediately think of the diplomat that the assassins had sent ahead of them... could it have been possible that she had made it this far out of the facility on her own on her way to escape? That only meant that there were bad things to follow...

With the remainder of his team following up behind him, it was up the the Jawa to sew as much chaos as possible to thin the heard for the force bringing up the rear, if they stopped they would be flanked and surrounded by their enemy and that was something they could not allow to happen, not before they had succeeded in their mission, which now had gotten a lot easier with the diplomat still alive. Looking to his coms he would radio in to the sith leadership as well as his team.

"Iziz here, I have found the diplomat, with her we should be able to organize a take-over of the local population. We're making our way back into the base now."

Iziz said, not breaking glowing eye contact with Alliat. Hoping she would get and accept the message, with the sith assassins here, able to be identified by the uniform Iziz wore, if the Senator wanted vengeance on those who had wronged her, now would be the perfect opportunity... ... ... With a smile on his face, Iziz would move past Alliat and motion for her to follow with haste as he began to make his way down the main corridor of the facility, hearing the screaming of beings from within the facility which rose about a dozen stories up into the sky..

he hoped whatever was causing the screaming... wasn't something he would have to deal with... but he looked back at the Diplomat...

"Are you unharmed?"

Today had been a veritable plethora of embarrassing, dangerous and downright unpleasant situations. So while it came as a momentary surprise when the vent beneath me gave way vomiting my prone form onto the concrete below it did not jar with the days overall feel. Cursing profusely as I stumbled to my feet I took in my surroundings.

It seemed that my egress had been halted right before the exit to the facility. Though thank Typhojem the ones who had torn me from my flight were not the damned reptiles but rather the reinforcements I had requested. It was about time for something to go my way and I decided to capitalize upon this fortuitous development to the fullest extent.

Their leader - a short figure who had just moments ago given a report back to the ones who were monitoring this situation from back in the seat of Sith power turned to address me.

"Are you unharmed?"

The truthful answer in this situation was that I felt like I had been kicked by a krayt dragon and I was sure my arse would be turning a shade of blue or purple not found on even the most fluro hued twi'lek girls. But working with the Sith meant all the usual Sith crap applied to the situation. What that boiled down to in the end was me putting on the show that I was the most baddass mf that didn't feel pain or have any kind of weaknesses whats so ever.

Then again this far to primitive pecking order social-Darwinist nonsense was one of the biggest problems that the Sith had ingrained to them. I was to tired and to out of patience to play those kind of games.

" Well aside from you nearly breaking my pelvis and the braindead lizards strapping me to one of their torture tables I feel fine. Now since you are here how about we give the raptors some of their own medicine. "

The lizards deserved everything that would come to befall them. Hubris was a deadly sin and the raptors had fallen to it utterly.

As I spoke to the Sith leader- whom I assumed to be my contact Iziz several things became apparent. One - Iziz was very short - far shorter than a human or twilek. Which lead to the second point. I couldn't be 100% sure but it seemed that under his uniform attire Iziz was in fact a jawa.

Stranger things have happened but for a few seconds I was speechless.

How many Jawa could have taken the mantle of the Sith up?

They could probably be counted on one hand.

From my connection to Chemok I could tell that the fighting was intensifying in the deeper reaches of the compound.

Time to get going.

Appeared as no more than rippled air, having activated her cloaking device alike the others. In no hurry, she merely walked towards the town's gated entrance, said gates opening when she alongside her armed company reached the gates. She looked about, "How convenient," she mused. The small Jawa's proceeding figure was noted, laying waste to resistance. "Swiftly now, move in!" Her cloaked figure broke off into a sprint, augmented by the force, jumping atop structures and other makeshift platforms to bypass the ensuing the destruction. A portion of her cloaked squad remained behind to subdue the resistance. The remaining forces, four by number, clung behind and mimicked her acrobatic maneuvers.

"Now .. Where is that leader we're looking for?" She treads slowly, a hand lowered to her hip. She entered a facility, met by a broad corridor. She crouched, proceeding forth cautiously. Looking past the corner, she noticed a rallying group of red variant resistance. Armed, tall and five total. A smoke grenade was placed into her hand, acquired from her aid. Chucking it into the room, a brief and abrupt cloud of smoke ensued the vicinity. Her form quickly stormed inside, two beams of red erecting and swift slashes delivered as she mimicked a ghost, appearing and dissapearing despite her cloaking device de-activating. The smoke subsided, revealing Vineech standing amongst a group of littered corpses and severed limbs. "Well then.." She picked up a gun, slinging it over her back as she proceeded further into the facility.

Iziz smiled, cocking his head coyly to one side, this woman had determination about her, and a will to get even, seeing as she was crawling in an air vent, she had done well to get this close to the escape port, but it was time to move, in, Iziz could feel something dark within the fortress before them, there was something which was drawing the mass of their security force away, a distraction which had not gone unnoticed to the Jawa. Looking at [member="Vineech"] as she flew past Iziz as he had stopped and talked, dispatching a host of the red guard as they entered the area, The Jawa could only think of the warning which he felt needed to be heard by everyone.

"Be careful, I can sense something else within this building, but, whatever it is, seems to be drawing the main security force inside of here away from everyone else... We move for the anti-chamber of this place now. They would have locked themselves into their safe room... which i bet you is a place meant to hide... and not escape."

Iziz smiled, these lizards had suffered from pride for one too many generations, being at the top of the food chain usually meant you were not the ones under attack, that any counter-attack would see them liberated by aggressors, but, not this time, unlike humans or Jawa, who had been at the bottom and gotten used to needing to be cowards in order to survive, they knew the virtue of fleeing a scene when the things that went bump in the night came crashing on your front door.

"Stay behind me, and you'll be fine. I won't let anything happen to you." Iziz spoke to [member="Alliat Xaphon"] , as he would begin to move forward again, as the soldiers caught up, Iziz would throw one of his light-sabers at the control panel which operated the door, causing it to close and requiring the reptiles to need to breach the door, giving them a little more time. Iziz would then begin to move forward, moving around where the combat seemed to be in the heart of the building, edging around the outside as black and red Ssi-Ruu would be attracted to the phantom causing them the grandest challenge. It would be the black ones with their entechment power which would likely be able to harm the spirit, energy drawn from the very life force of living things transformed into power would be just magical enough to harm the beast as they would blast at his corpus.

Running, but with no force enhanced speed, Iziz would make his way through the halls, coming across some resistance, he would dodge to a side of a blaster, kicking off the ground and running along the wall for a moment. As they would aim up iziz, he would leap again, but rather than go to the other wall, he would momentarily grab a light on the roof and use it as a means to flip over his opponents, landing behind them and striking out with his long light-saber staff, cutting the tail and one of the legs from the body of the reptile, allowing it to flail in pain and shock at the attack, Iziz not having the time or patience to finish the job as he would lead them all up to the stairs.

Why the hell had I volunteered to go back into the festering pit that was the Ssi-ruu base? Was it the confidence that the Jawa had displayed or perhaps it was Chemok drawing me closer back to my astral self. Either could be a bad influence - a realization that was made no sweeter from the irony of my own mind dragging itself down.

Keeping up with Iziz - that's what the Jawa had referred to himself as in his message to HQ and the unnamed woman was not a particularly easy task. I exercise just enough to maintain my figure but anything further causes fatigue to set in quickly. My natural habitat is in a boardroom or press conference not the battlefield. This kind of work was far better for the bloodthirsty hordes of seemingly endless butchers that fill the rank and file of the Sith acolytes.

Not that I am helpless.

Speaking of which I should probably explain to my rescuers exactly what was going on to cause the pandemonium within the facility.

I open my mouth to speak but by the time I get halfway through the first syllable the lunatic Jawa has already thrown himself at the raptors and started to kill.

Perhaps its better to just wait till both the Sith warriors and my wraith had cleared out the primitive alien filth.

After that we could all have a nice long talk.

It was coming into the next room that the Jawa found himself surprised at what he saw, the place had been torn apart by something possibly large, though he didn't know what, this was one of the rooms which had been hit by Alliat's specter, something which Iziz had no knowledge of, and it put the Jawa on edge in the greatest degree, looking around and sleuthing through he would move towards an elevator which was on the other side of the room, looking to one of the black raptor's bodies and picking up one of their weapons... they had chords moving into their suits which seemed to have a technology the jawa had never seen before... this was something that was going to need to be studied as he could sense a power within their arcs of energy which was not on the normal scope of a blaster. The shots had a presence in the force, and that was not to be taken lightly.

Moving to the elevator, he would usher the politician in while covering the enterance with his saber pike, looking to the other sith and those who had followed up, just as the door to the facility would rupture, and reinforcements would begin to rush the facility. Iziz barked an order to hold them off, they would be able to use the entrance as a bottleneck to be able to stem the flow, but, without resolving this quickly, Iziz doubted that they would be able to fight off hundreds of the raptors on their own.

Once Alliat was inside, Iziz would hit the button and wait for the elevator to reach the top room, certain that the last of the defensive guard would be waiting for them there. Literally grabbing Alliat and pushing her to a side of the elevator closest to the door, the Sith commanded that she stay precisely there for her own safety... As the elevator reached the top, Iziz would be able to feel the presence of more than a dozen soldiers on the other side of the room. Hitting the emergency stop button moments before the doors opened.

Iziz would reach out in the force, and pry at all of their equipment, they were all heavily armed, but in this case, that was a good thing... reaching out and one by one noticing that they had grenades on their person, the Jawa hit the activation buttons on each of them one at a time, the beeping would be loud, and something which would confuse them at first, but, immediately, as the panic started the other beeps from the other grenades would spiral the room into chaos... After ten seconds there were resounding explosions, one of which put a piece of piping directly through the elevator door hard enough to have impaled a human. Iziz smiled, looking up to the safe senator... pushing the pipe out with telekinesis and opening the door to a room that was basically on fire.

Using his telekinesis again, he smothered the spreading flame and looked to the survivors... there were a few, but not many, none of the soldiers but a number of politicians had survived the blast... though a great number more did not.

"well now... i think it's time we re-opened negotiations... right Miss Xaphon?"
